Great job on the tank! I have a few questions: did you do just one coat of black? Also before you clear coated, did you use any fine sand paper (1500-2000 wet)? I would like to do something similar to my bike, but was wondering if after the tape is pealed if it would leave big ridges that need to be knocked down with some sandpaper. Thank you for the video my friend!

Yes only black, but orange colour is pearl orange, and grey colour is primer. I spray it with high solid clear. Thank you

Anybody help: at 2:23 does he apply primer directly over the black paint without sanding?
And is it necessary to do it this way? Or woyld it be possible (in this case) to apply the orange directly over the black?

I use PU paint and 1.3 and 0.8mm spray gun

How did you get your colors? This is the Harley Screamin’ Eagle black and orange that I want for my 2000 HD FXST. I will appreciate any thoughts you have about matching paint colors.

Did you wet sand the clearcoat and then respray the clearcoat?
Ya..using 800 first and 2000 grit
Whats the purpose of sanding the surface after initial gloss coat? How is is done and whats the number of sand paper used?
Oh..that is for removing orange peel mark after clear coat and i use 1500 - 2000 grit
