the cake looks so good and you’ve decorated it beautifully 🎀⭐️ however, i tried it w bananas and it did not taste good + hated the texture, what i learnt from that though is the you just can’t make bread w/o flour. flour is key.
This is a small cake . How about making an 8 inch cake , the standard size !I am hoping to make it but have to order smaller tins .Otherwise I can use the 8 inch tins and have 2 layers .
Could it be due to old baking soda? That, paired with the eggs, helps this cake rise. Or try using double the amount of baking powder (so 1 1/2 teaspoons) for a similar lift.
@@DetoxinistaRecipes baking soda or baking powder? which one? the video says soda... i am not sure how old it is. will try new soda get powder for next time. it still tastes delicious even if it didn't rise... haha
Nutritional value: Date sugar is made from dried, crushed dates and retains the nutrients of the fruit, such as vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants. Cane sugar is extracted from sugarcane and undergoes a refining process that removes most of its nutrients, leaving only calories. Processing: Date sugar is minimally processed, while cane sugar is heavily processed. Glycemic index: Date sugar has a lower glycemic index than cane sugar, which can help control blood sugar levels. Cane sugar has a glycemic index of 65, which can cause a rapid spike in blood sugar levels, while date sugar has a glycemic index of around 55.
@@naomicremen5790beautiful response! ❤ It blows my mind that people don’t know the difference between natural sugars and refined white sugar. Thanks for helping.

This is such a beautiful cake
Love this❤!
Can't wait to try this cake, looks yum.
For the frosting recipe, is there any substitute for coconut cream?
I was looking for this comment right here. Sad that she haven't replied T T
Perfect ❤
Megan, I want to try this. Looks yummy. But, my daughter shouldn't have eggs, so is there a substitute for eggs that you would recommend? Thank you!!
Hi Christiane, have you tried flax eggs in replacement of eggs? Very easy substitute!
Yum
So yummy! Would it be possible to add cocoa powder to it to make it chocolate flavored?
Eh? It has cocoa powder in the recipe!
The cake recipe doesn’t have cocoa powder (or any other chocolate) in it - the frosting does. Watch the video again.
@@Hevva67you start every comment with eh? Are you okay?
What if you have a banana allergy? Is there anything you can use other than bananas?
How long can we keep the prepared cake in fridge?
How many calories for the whole cake?
What can I use to substitute the eggs?
You could probably use a flax egg. You can find recipes on UA-cam on how to make one.
I just made the cake it came out a bit dry what can I add to make it more moist? Coconut oil? Butter??
I think either addition could work!

I don't know why I can't seem to like dates at all in my cake❓🤔
What do you use?
