It’s real hard putting yourself out there Dan, and I can feel your pain. You have to enjoy it though! Times are tough at the moment. I’ve always enjoyed your vids and style and hope you keep going ❤
Thanks for all your videos. I really enjoyed them. You’re right take everything on your own speed. Make videos whenever you like and enjoy life brother 🎉
Well that is one of the saddest things of being a content creator. There will always be ups and downs, but that doesn't mean you've reaches the end of the line. You can just create soemthing out of your content than spending so much money for something you don't want (those Funko Pops aren't worth buying, so no offense to that). At least your caring family and wonderful hobby will always motivate you to move forward for these past four years, especially during the dark days of the pandemic where all of us were locked inside our houses and doing nothing. Just keep on doing what you like and what you love. Keep creating, and be yourself. By the way, your channel is what caught my attention when buying figures online. Its very informative and summarized that everything you've said makes sense. I've been collecting figures for 15 years and I only buy only a handful of those figures which were my favorite animes and characters. ❤ P.S. Only buy figures that will make you happy and satisfied, and never be tempted with something so trendy and flashy. I guarantee it. 👌💰👍
Thank you for your kind words, yeah funko pops I got caught up in the hype, have sold vast majority and only kept ones that have meaning to me from family and friends, and it was a case of buying for contents sake in the end rather than the love of it. I hope it's not the end of the line and am trying new things even on a new channel as I do enjoy the creating content part, but definitely not this need of feeling have to keep creating keep pumping out content. Thank you again for the comment and support 🙏 :)
@TwistedGeek its not the end of the line. There are vast majorities and alternatives that will keep your channel active, like reacting or commenting about that anime, figures, manga, etc. Like I said, there will be ups and downs in all content creators like yourself. But there will always be something new once you reached the endpoint of your videos. Create as much as you like, and cherished the things you love.
Hey Man! Been following your videos for awhile now and they been helpful for me deciding to buy certain figures/products so I appreciate you a lot, Thank you! Your content is good but I would suggest spicing it up maybe adding anime clips and facts about anime of figure your reviewing just make sure its with copyright, your really good at explain stuff so I don't see why not on review episodes of shows. I had a "cartoon/review" channel long long time ago with 47,000+ subs & decent monthly viewship got burnt out as at the time as I felt I out grew the subject and was little embarrassed know people knew what I did going into my 20's, and also starting college and full time job with demanding schedule, I decided at the time to quit my channel and purse my "actual job" which did pay off well and thankful for but now in my late 20's and matured I defiantly REGRETTED quitting that channel, so please don't quit man I know how hard it can be, you got this!
Thank you it is nice to hear it had been helpful for you and that does sound like a good idea of spicing it up abit. Have you went back to your channel yourselves? If you have hope it is going well and all the best. Thank you for your supportive comment :)
Sometimes a break is what we need. It gives us the space to think. I did this with Instagram earlier this year. I wasn't enjoying the path I was on. I came back after a four months break with a strategy that is more sustainable for me, and I've started enjoying it again. You're a talented creator and your videos keep improving. Maybe a change of pace and focus is all that's needed. After a bit of a break, ask yourself if there's something you would be excited to create. I hope you find an approach that'll work for you, and I wish you all the best.
Thank you, that is what I am hoping to do so that I can continue to create and hopefully do something abit different or a different spin on things to make it more entertaining for everyone and myself. Thank you :)
It's definitely not easy to grow on youtube, that platform has its up and downs... I'm happy to know you'll still keep up with the content, as long as you like what you're doing ,it's all that matters I like your vids, and I'll be looking forward to see what's next Cheers Twisted geek 🌟
I absolutely understand where you're coming from. I have a channel that was tarantula based, and I went through the same thing you're talking about. I gave up on making UA-cam videos because I think it went stale and I didn't enjoy making the content anymore. I didn't want to waste my money for the sake of content too. I decided to only make content for me going forward, as and when I want to, not to a schedule that I think will please others and the algorithm. I truly believe that you should make the videos that you want. If you want to explore new avenues with anime, then more power to you, do what makes you happy. I think it'd be interesting to see your take on the wider genre, not just the figure side of it. Be true to you, it's the only way you'll be happy at the end of the day.
I still love your content, and everyone needs a break now and then! UA-camrs put too much pressure on themselves to feature things that the viewer wants, but many channels (like Techmoan) feature what the content creator is interested in and still brings in thousands of views. You go at your own pace! Hope you can get through this :)
Figure channels are one of the more difficult ones tbh as you gotta be super fast and early to get the views on the hottest new videos else they don't take off. I've had a small success doing hololive nendoroids but that's about it. Realistically buying figures is way more expensive than UA-cam Revenue. I've got another channel that is 6.5k subs and probably get around £20-£30 a month...on a good month. Find unique things you can do. I think for a while you were doing gatcha games which put me off watching as had little interest compared to the figure stuff.
Yeah the anime gacha games didn't work for the channel but was always worth a try and an experiment. Figures yeah will never be able to get them as soon as they launch and I do not pre order, had issues in past and prefer to just buy when in stock. Thank you for your message :)

Hey n2k hope your doing well, and thank you :)
UA-cam is very hard to work with. Cred for talking about it. Just do not let YT stress your mental health
Thank you for the love :)
@@TwistedGeek Take care of yourself first, always :)

Thank you and it's nice to hear from someone has went through something similar and some great advice, thank you 😀
@TwistedGeek change can be a positive thing in most cases too, even if it is a bit of a scary prospect.
Very true just have to embrace the change :)
Thanks for the ride so far dude
Oh wow, thank you so much for the donation super thanks 😊 🙏 ❤️
