    I agree
    Except on 2 pointa
    1. Our sweets are chemically laden to be unlike anything found in nature so they are extra addictive or maybe trick our brain into thinking it's healthy by using parts of an orange to create an orange flavor etc
    2. I almost rather my child figure this out when they are older as I get to strengthen and help them grow a strong body. What children eat can affect so much more than adults
    Wdyt?

I once let my son eat 6 chocolate bars, knowing well that he would get a tummy ache.
When he came to me about it, I said that I believed that the pain and discomfort was due to eating a lot of candy at the same time.
I said that there were a couple of options for how to avoid it another time. I gave him options, and he could choose what he preferred.
He decided that he was not going to eat candy on an empty stomach, and now eats a slice of wholemeal bread with lunchmeat first.
And he will eat half his candy and give me the rest, so I can keep it until the day after, because he knows that his own willpower isn't strong enough.

This is such a great example of how intuitive kids can be when they have someone to guide them!
