  • Kids and adults with ADHD are more likely to have sensory processing challenges than neurotypical peers...and since taste, smell, touch, sight, and sound are ALL part of the eating/cooking process, this can have major impacts on eating routines. Meal time and food can be really overstimulating! What happens when your child is overstimulated? Or understimulated? What can you do when this is interfering with your child's appetite or desire to eat? Why does this happen? That's what I'm here to discuss today!

I don’t know when it happened but at some point I would just eat everything on my plate in SECONDS and vanish into the shadows after dinner, largely because my parents always talked about my school or work and it was insanely boring and made 0 sense to me. Often I didn’t even notice how fast I was eating I was just so bored. Still struggle with food to this day. Glad you’re making these videos!! ❤
