Vol.2 now available too! lostclouds.gumroad.com/l/Sub37-2
15 high quality, handmade & unique patches for the Moog Subsequent 37 with an ambient & 'cinematic' or soundtrack-style feel. Will also work with the original Sub37.
Video Edited By: Harry Green @ www.harrygreen.video/
Included with the purchase is a PDF describing the synthesis ideas behind each patch, a few tips and tricks you can use to make the patches your own as well as the effects used on each patch.
Disclaimer: These patches were designed with the use of effects in mind (reverb/delay etc.). They will work without them but will sound even better if you do add some effects in! For the purposes of the demonstrations, many of the patches including a 'backing track' provided by the Ventris Dual Reverb's ability to freeze reverb trails.
Here is a link the patch bank if you're interested! :)

How much different do you think it would be to try these patches on a Sub37 vs subsequent 37? These patches are beautiful.
The patches are fully backwards compatible, so no issues there. My understanding is that the Sub37 has slightly less headroom and can't be driven quite as hard before distorting, but it's hard to to say how much difference that will actually make. I will say that I believe some people with the Sub37 have bought these patches and as far as I know they've all been able to enjoy them with no troubles :)
@@tomgreenmusic Thats great to gear! Will pick these up soon after i get a new reverb!
Oo
@@shawnsaul7759 ya looo
I could listen forever to patch "03 in reverse"
Yep... That one stood out for me, too
These are very compelling patches. So much so that I wanna buy a 37 just for the patches
I purchased this yesterday and I am blown away by these sounds. I didnt realize my Subsequent37 could sound so impressive. Very useful sounds.
I love the On the run patch....

Huge fan of your music, looking forward to taking these patches for a spin. Thanks man!
These are awesome! Picking up a Subsequent 37 tomorrow and can't wait!
Beautiful and serene patches. Thanks for the wonderful demo! I have been looking at the Sub 37 and I am coming close to pulling the trigger on it. I think it will be a great addition to my REV2 and Summit.
It sounds so beautiful, Thank you for sharing!
Exceptional - exquisite - your sound creation and performance together is too lovely for words.

Terrific patches - I just bought them. As much as the patches, I appreciate the PDF explaining your thoughts and strategy behind them. You've really jump started my moog skills. Thank you!
Thanks for the support!! Hope you're enjoying them :)
Really great sounding patches.
Wow, this sounds beautiful!
Beautiful sounds!! Thanks for sharing
the reason for a new "must have"..really amazing sounds...
Best I've heard... takes me long while to settle on a piece of gear as I want it to be a good fit for my music, but this pack has helped that decision.
Amazing sounds!
Wow, these are great patches!
Really great performance !
Love these patches!!! This video alone makes me wanna buy a Subsequent 37!!!
Amazing patches!
Stunning patches!! Ordering my Sub37 today and will order these patches soon! Keep 'em coming :) ...The Ventris is on my desk already :---)
Ooohhhh enjoy the Sub37, it's an amazing synth!! Hope you enjoy the patches too :)
I'm really happy with my purchase, definitely looking forward to more of your patches.
So glad you're enjoying it! :)
Lost Clouds sorry I need to come back again, it’s been two days since having these patches and I haven’t enjoyed my moog Sub37 this much since I got it. For the price this is wayyyyyy to good a bargains for a competitor that charged $100. Having heard many of your videos, seeing this available was a treasure that reflects the talent of the artist behind the music, and the sound I’ve come to really appreciate. So I again say thank you for making your sound available at my finger tips.
Thank you so much, that really does mean a lot! Glad to hear it's a bargain - I wanted to make it as accessible as possible to everyone :)
Flawless sound!
This is absolutely brilliant, just what i need for my projects,,,,nice one bro 🙌
Thanks man, hope you enjoy it!!
This video is one of the main reasons I am about to purchase a Subsequent 37 and an Eventide H9. Thanks!
For what it's worth, I ended up doing exactly this and now have both units. What an amazing combo. I am going to try out your presets through the Eventide Blackhole algorithm right now.
stunning !
Nice one , perfect blend ⚡✌️
Beautiful patches man! Keep on going
Thank you :)
You are amazing! Grat sounding and melodies performances
Thank you very much :)
@@tomgreenmusic Is it possible to tutorial about creating sounds? I am collecting money for Moog Subsequent 37 but it would be awesome to learn how to build that sound also in DAW just step by step especially sounds 1; 13 and 15 my fav
amazing Patches
Great patches !!
These patches are sick!
You're a BEAST~ As soon as I get mine I might need to have you make some custom banks!
This demo will make me buy a Sub37 for sure
Heavily considering this synth to go with my OB-6. Best demo for the Sub 37 out there. That Number 3 reverse patch is just amazing.
Ooohhh what a combo!! How is the OB6? I think it might be my dream synth...
Also thank you!!
@@tomgreenmusic Hey! You’re very welcome! The OB-6 is wonderful. The tone is something else, very rich sounding.Still getting to know it as I’ve only had it for about a month, but it is definitely worth the price.
insta buy .. thanks! hope to see a rev2 patch to go along with it..
Love your work. Most patches featuring the Sub37 tend to highlight its sawtooth sounds rather than the smoother textures this synth is capable of. Thanks for the recent video...
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it :)
totally agree, been eying off a sub 37 but was worried the only thing it could do was stephan bodzin style bass patches, i have a moog voyager and i find it a bit limited but this convinced me of the versatility of the sub37
Pure class!
Beautiful 😍
Bought them! these rock man.
This was really awesome... this is a must have Synthesizer... but I guess it also depends on the skill of it's programmer... Thumbs up Lost Clouds... I must say you made me get lost up in the clouds aching for this Moog machine...
Thanks for the kind words 😍🙏
I bought a subsequent 37 based on this video, you need to make some tutorials, make them as online lessons and charge for all we care, just get it done buddy!
@@tomgreenmusic I agree with Ben Taylor, I would definitely pay for your online tutorials and lessons.
This sounds like the soundtrack from the video game, Mirror's Edge by Solar Fields. So beautiful!
I really liked the sequel. I hope they remaster it.
Awesome patches, i seriosly think about adding the Sub 37 to my Grandmother, for some more Moog power, enjoyed the whole video, cheers!!!
Great demo! I want one
great patches, i support you!
_great on headphones!_
Number 11 is a true analogue bassline.... Depeche Mode here we come... Thanks to that!
Nice patches! Now I have to buy the VENTRIS DUAL REVERB too I guess ;)
疯狂的预设人,它们听起来很美!过几天买 -等不及明天给他们锻炼!谢谢!
Awesome 👏!
Thanks Frederic!!
love this
nice patches brah!
Heartbeat was so good !
Sounds amazing!
just need a sub 37 now :P
Haha you won't regret it 😉
excellent.
I love this.
Great stuff! You should do some patches for the Studio Electronics Roland SE-02. Crazy good sounding synth, especially for the price!
Fantastic sounds! :-O
Thanks Marc :)
The in reverse patch cured my depression
Haha good news!!
Bought the pack! Keep up the good work (and throw in a sound design video once in a while!) :-).
Thank you so much! I really hope you enjoy it, I'd love to hear your thoughts :) any issues either just let me know!
@@tomgreenmusic Very welcome, I find your video's very inspiring, I'm glad to support the cause!
BTW: I was wondering why you only used the e-dome reverb style on the Ventris with all these patches.
Cheers
impressive
actually this is the nicest patch bank i ive ever heard
Thanks man that means a lot :)
Never heard this synth sound so good.
Haha thanks!
With enough reverb, almost anything sounds good. Would have been nice to hear the synth without external effects.
Inclined to disagree but I understand the sentiment - to me, especially with the Sub37, effects are an important part of the sound when you're looking for that ambient/cinematic vibe so it was important to show that.
@@ToyKeeper There are thousands of videos of it dry. This was for ambient sounds so it fits. I’m in the camp that thinks most instruments are pretty boring sounding when dry.
@@rorykhanmohon Yeah, it definitely sounds a lot richer with effects. It's a huge part of the sound, especially for ambient purposes.
But in a patch bank demo, I was hoping to hear what the patches sound like. The effects aren't part of the patch.
dope!!!
Patch 11 is lovely and crunchy ;)
Haha thank you :)
love 02 especially!
einfach nur schöne sounds - nice
Sounds great, Im gonna get a Moob sub 37 and buy the patches here! Btw what reverb and delay plaugins/units do you use on this demo?
Triple Threat is a pure eargasm. Ok, i want this thing :D
Just bought them can't wait to try them out! Any chance you'll be coming out with some for the Rev 2?
Absolutely! I'm away from my Rev2 for a little while, up to like 3 months, but it's definitely a priority as soon as I get it back! Hope you enjoy the pack, definitely let me know your thoughts once you've tested them out :)
Don't have a Sub37 but keep coming back to listen to this amazing set of patches. Would you ever do a set for a DSI Pro2?
Listening to this endless beauty on my Beyerdynamic DT 1770 PRO(arrieved today from AMAZON) is something else. Moog Sub 37 just blends with it all... I deeply thank you 4 sharing this expression of yours! Really! I started to walk the music path after about 16 years and much has changed... I started as a kid on Yamaha PSR-320 model and I just blended with the souds. Just keep going, you are doing fine! :)) Do you have a patreon? With regards, ND
Great job! Bravo! Trying to decide if I should try my very first Moog.Have had experience with many other brands but not Moog.
Question: on many of your patches, I hear a background “chord”. Is that coming from the Sub 37 or are you adding a track or sustained chord from a different synth?
Thanks!
You can't go wrong with this synth if you can afford it, I'm still lusting about it even after having seen every video on YT about it. But it will always be only two high quality, independantly controlable and driveable oscillators : tasty mixer drive but no onboard effects, latch function but no "background pad.mp3" player etc... Every reverb, delay or pad that you hear in those demos is not coming from the synth. That said, if it had any of those things someone would always have something to say about it, it is way better this way, but the Sub is SCREAMING to be paired with good effects, so be sure to be able to give it that quickly if you go for it. Otherwise there would be something missing.
Loving the Subsequent 25, but slightly regret not paying a little extra for the Subsequent 37!
Seriously bad ass sounds bro…
Phhht fricken sick man how someone disliked beyond me man great job .
13 Heartbeat !!! wow
What type of reverb you use? The pad in background is fantastic... i want a tutorial for these
brutally. just bought. super nice sounds. I hope you will do more soundsets. you convinced me as a buyer! stay healthy and I hope that you will quickly program new soundsets! best greetings from germany. #jandevice from #electricdada ;-)
Thanks Jan!!!! Hope you enjoy them :)
super super nice!! Question. The subtle drone sounds at the beginning of each sound are samples or a different synth ?
got goosebumps from how good these sound
Thanks man glad you like them!!
Nice patches! Just bought them. How long you been using the subsequent 37? You make some awesome sounds. I'm brand new to it so I've got a lot of learning to do. I'm good with the Arp Odyssey but not this thing lol.
~ YEAH ~...greetings from germany...
Back at you from the UK!!
Ahh i wish i could afford this synth. Sounds so good.
It did kill me but I don’t regret it, the possibilities are a bit overwhelming at first because there are so many patches possibilities ! This was my first synth and I have no regrets (even though I have had to lower my expectations for a poly synth after that, but I’ll manage with a KingKorg and some vst from analog lab like the Pigment which is really awesome)
Great patches ! Really inspiring !
@@DuquesneXavier hi, how much did it cost?
@@pg6917 I got it from Alfasoni in Barcelona. 1490€. It’s not a Moog one either but still expensive gear for the wallet of a beginner
Big Tenet vibes I love it
I have to save up for this thing.
