Sometimes it happens because of bottlenecking. which is caused when one of your components like your gpu is weaker then the cpu causing stutters. or sometimes it may be the gpu being to powerful for the cpu the best way to fix this issue is to upgrade your cpu or gpu so that both components are equally strong enough to support each other.
Holy smokes after 4 years this still works. Other tutorials have you deleting GPU caches and messing with stuff that is really advance and still does nothing. This fixes the slight stuttering that I have in games along with normal everyday task like web browsing. It's an easy and simple guide. Works on Windows 11 too! After watching many tutorials trying to fix this stutter in games I finally found this video, thanks for this tutorial! It really works!
Really?
Holy shit man! I can never thank you enough. My games were running so smoothly until yesterday where they all started to look very choppy and started to stutter. After this, it helped a lot! Much thanks my guy. 👊
I'm extremally happy with the result. I just bought a high-end gaming pc, and I was freaking out bc my games were stuttering. After I applied this change, everything is working fine. Great video!
Earned my sub! I've tried everything and this was the only video that fixed my stutters. Thanks! :)
I usually don't comment on videos, but this video is SO GOOD I needed to, amazing explanation and TOTALLY functional results, I've been struggling for months finding solutions for my computer's issue with this matter and with this video everything is fixed! Subscribed and I'm really grateful I found this video. Excellent Job mate! :)
Thanks! I appreciate the support!
This is actually amazing. I’ve been having issues with games stuttering and always felt like another program was the cause as I have a 2080ti and i7 7700k with 32gb raam and had random stuttering that didn’t drop frames. Was a very weird lag. Now it’s all but gone as well as games that are not optimized well it also helped their stuttering. Thank you for taking the time to let everyone know how to do this. It won’t be a cure all for sluggish rigs but it will help a lot.
Yeah This! I was having the same issue for the longest time myself trying to wrap my brain around this wondering what I missed when trying to optimize my PC for the best experience. Glad I came across this video
Same thing happened to me it was confusing
have a i5-10400f and rtx 3060 ti and i still have stuttering in some gamesxd
@@jorgetomascortesfernandez6316 yeah pc is just really hard to optimize. So many different rig combos out there.
@@InnovativeOne_ SAME HERE
after dozens of shutdowns finally a solution, thaks bro
Not everyone can explain your explanation is well heard and with details so I did it correctly just managed to fix my frozen explorer buttons by a lite tinker and remembered the weird lags I was getting which isn't what am used to and I found ya video boom problem solved
I been having stutter problems for so long and now finally solved. Thank you Sollywolly!
haha no problemo
Thank you for this tutorial, it fixed my stuttering issue in CSGO. I spent over 2K on my PC 2 years ago and I couldn't believe that I started experiencing issues this bad already. But as soon as you mentioned 'high end PC' in the video it gave me hope and indeed fixed my issue. Cheers for this mate. May God bless you. Have a good one.
Awesome! I had the same problem with CSGO as well until I used this method. Have a good rest of your day!
@@sollywolly After finding the time to play the game some more it turns out this method did not fix my issue in the end. At first it felt like it did but then the stuttering came back. It happens at random times, sometimes it is just a micro stutter and other times it makes the game unplayable. Is there anyway you could help me with this, some advice maybe? Thank You, for your time.
@@habibmohammed4781 Yeah sure! If it was a temporary fix, that leads me to think that maybe during an update your gamebarpresencewriter reverted back to its original name. Double check to make sure it's still named after what you named it.
@@sollywolly I've double checked and it was enabled, since then I've even installed a fresh copy of Windows and then followed through this video again but it's still no use. Also, I don't think it actually fixed the issue as sometimes the stutter is really bad and other times it's not there. Is there anything else you could suggest I try. Thank You
@@habibmohammed4781 did you find a fix? This sounds like my issue currently.
Thank you man I did it and I don't know if anything is gonna change but every thing you said to do in the vod worked so I trust you
thanks man! means a lot to have someone that trusts me
Thanks man! Quick and easy to understand yet clear.
Legend man! it just started happening to me in the past few days, worked well! thanks. September 2024
Same bro
Good shit man, this video is still helpful 3 years later!
Mate, you are a legend! I've always had small screen freezes while playing Assetto Corsa Competizione, sometimes up to 1 second, and have tried all sorts of setting changes, but this fix has eliminated the problem for me! I'm also getting much more consistent frame times too! DO THIS!
Except the screen freezes are back... :( though not quite as often as before. Frame times are up a bit too.... grrrr.....
Fixed. Stopped running MSI Afterburner and screen freezes on ACC are gone
@@ursinesaturn6723 how did u fix it
@@rhusselcombo7696 Not "fixed" but underclocking the CPU has helped a lot. Only happens very occasionally now
@@ursinesaturn6723 oh okay ,idk if we have the same problem but my problem is , while playing games my pc is dropping fps to 0. my pc is literally not playable , its dropping gpu usage to 0%
OMG U FINALLY FIXED IT I WAS LOOKING FOR ANSWER FOR MONTHS THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCHHH
haha enjoy your stutter free pc!
Thanks, this helped big time solving far cry 4, 5 and Primal stuttering on Ryzen 5 3600 and Asus RTX 2070 OC edition, holy moly. Big kudos to you.
Haha glad it worked!
Bro same thing happened to me
Once again a video from 4 years ago saved me again thanks!
I've just done it and am going to restart my computer to see if it helped
Edit: It didn't make a huge difference, but I feel like the reason that there is stuttering is because of my game, not my computer. So I'm leaving these settings anyways just in case they would help in other situations. Also, thanks for the tutorial my guy, it was clean and easy to follow. I left you a sub ;P
I appreciate it and I’m sorry it didn’t work. If you have any questions for me, just let me know. Good luck with everything!
I swear… I never had issues on my PC until Cold War integration. Since then the game is literally unplayable.
*FINALLY! A TUTORIAL THAT ACTUALLY WORKS!*
i've been dealing with stuttering on my pc for over a year and NOTHING has helped. but this tutorial definitely fixed that problem. it even made my gpu more powerful i think. anyway thx so much for the fix dude!
no problemo! glad it worked for you mate
Thank you my god- I’ve been dealing with this lagging kinda stuttery issue on my pc for weeks and I would always have to hard shut down my pc just to fix it it was so annoying-
You just completely fixed my debilitating lag spikes on satisfactory. My game would go from 90fps to 1-5fps for a few seconds. This fixed it. Can’t thank you enough my man, keep up the great work👍
I was stuttering a lot on rust and I have a tank of a pc (RTX 3080 and i9-10850k) and this helped immediately. Thank you!
Dude that’s why I’m here. Literally every time I get shot it’s a 2 second freeze man I could of broke someone’s neck
Yo dude i have a similar-ish build to you and experience the same, do you by any chance still get the same stutters 3 months later? If this fixed it for you then don't bother, but if it didn't and you fixed your game doing something else can you tell me what you did please?
@@dann3bro412 I upgraded my drivers, there was an update about 3 months ago and restarted computer. Stutters completely gone.
Thank you soo much - I was wondering why I was stuttering so much recently and checked task manager and saw the GameBar Presence Writer. I knew it was probably the reason as it was the only new service running since I last checked so thank you

Hopefully this works for me too!
I’ll have to try this. I get a strong stutter in resident evil 3. Mostly at transitions to cutscenes. I have a more than capable pc with a Radeon 6800 and a ryzen 3600

Wow. This video is a game-changer! My FIFA 21 now runs perfectly well after I doing all steps in the video. No stutter, no micro stutter, absolutely amazing.
I am so happy 😊 Thank you very much for the solution to my problem in FIFA 21. You are an amazing person 👍👍👍
yessir glad i could help!
Instructions unclear.. My pc exploded.

LOL
did you check your pci-e slot for any slag? usually when your gpu board melts it leaves behind slag and can cause explosions so best to clean it to stop this from happening. hope this helped!

bro after watching millions of videos about stuttering, finally the only one that worked for me in 2024! I thank you very much, I wish you the best
so so glad it worked! wish you the best of luck and happy gaming
This dude is a legend, it made my gameplay much better, still experiencing some stuttering but this helped a lot. Thank you very much good work.
Okay so my problem was unknown but I managed to fix it by removing and then putting my RAMs back and disconnecting my HDD and then reconnecting, not sure what caused it but I'm pretty sure it was my HDD because in task manager the CPU showed 88% when it was just loading the games.
For the people who had no problems with their pc and this stuttering started to happen randomly try this, disconnecting and reconnecting your RAMs and HDD and/or SSD.
How do you do that
