At the end of your video we change permissions to our Microsoft account(email) to successfully disable gamebar in the registry. Do we need to switch it back to trusted installer like we did earlier in the video?
instead of having to do all this to stop xbox game bar I done it much easier like clicking this: windows-setting-apps-InstalledApps-xbox gamebar-click on 3 dots(...) next to it-advanced options-background permissions- click box in allow this app to run in background and change it to NEVER and it's all done and you can easily turn it back ON if you need to take some replay screenshots or any screenshots as the xbox game bar is required for screenshots.

You can try Rivertuner Statistics Server( RSS) and limit the fps to a specific game or for all games to a certain fps. For example if you have a 60hz monitor you don't need 70+ ,more issues are occuring with that than setting it to a specific configuration. It's not like vsync for people who are wondering, it both limits the fps to the amount you want( if you have 60hz I recommend limiting it to 65hz) and tries to balance every second of each frame to the next one. Fps stuttering is when you have an amount of fps and then it goes either up or down very unexpectedly. One frame can be 20ms and the next 25-30ms and the next 15ms that's why it stutters. This app makes every frame the same jf possible. You can google search for more information and help

Im still debating upgrading my GPU to 3080 ti but im so worried if the 3080 ti is not compatible on my PC components or i will be having a lot of problems like a bottleneck and my PC not working properly because of higher GPU.. hope you help me man, thanks..
@@makata_pro1698 technically even the most recent cpu are considered a bottleneck for the 3080ti but that doesn't mean that it won't function. You'll still have a beast of a card at the end of the day so long as you have good clean power from a psu that can handle it. Graphics card areeant to be upgraded seamlessly so unless you get a lemon it'll work.
@@deathscythe4329 thank you.. Appreciate it.
This worked. I thought it wouldn't. You are a lifesaver my friend
Im a bit confused on this. Is it only supposed to stop programs from opening gamebar? I've double checked my settings and restarted but I can still open gamebar with Win + G. Did I miss something?
I'm having the same issue too.
you likely installed malwar5e

Always love ur videos and the way you make them. Very easy to follow along and you actually explain while you do stuff and I appreciate that. Thank you so much!
Its been a year trying to fix this mess. Went crazy and reached my tipping point. Wife grew sick with the foul screaming on this shit. May a higher power get you all that you wish for. Thanks for this 😊😊
This is one of the clearest and best tutorials on UA-cam! It has fixed my FPS issue. Very much appreciated.
fixed my lags/fps drops, now i can enjoy music and play. thx for the help:)
How’s this different from turning it off from settings?
I was wondering that too lmfao like why even have a switch there then.
I wanna do this but then how do u talk with the homies on Xbox thru PC then ??
think this should be tried if u are experiencing stutters because it seems this disables all Microsoft gaming settings like game mode and others which for me work very well.
So just turning Game Bar in settings is not enough to disable it, or it was not an option when the video was made?
Great tips as always panjno please do a network optimization for 2022 if you can thank you !
Thank you! Commenting on this if I want to turn it back on. Super clear video with great instructions
Ive done alot of your optimization guides but for me none of them seem to work, I still seem to get the same stuttering in almost any game I play but its cool that you do these guides they are really helpful and im sure they work for most people my pc is just scuffed sadly
same
the thing about these optimization they really just give a small boost no matter how many of them you do
try installing a light weight os
tea mine made hitman 3 crash wich never ever happened so im reverting all
Well, it's about time to sell your Commodore 64 then!
I've been struggling last month playing apax , Thanx so much for the video it really helped so much , keep up the good work
Disabling game bar heavily reduces fps drops for me, but my issue is that I want to use game bar to record clips for videos but every time it records in the background, my frames continuously drop. Any suggestions for either an alternative to Xbox game bar for recording or some way to reduce/remove stutters while using game bar?
OBS
GeForce experience
Try out obs replay buffer, much more customisable and records at a much higher quality than geforce shadowplay
Make sure to use game capture in obs, do not use display capture as it will ruduce your fps while recording. I notice no fps drop while using game capture.
hello dear panjo! For hours of searching and weeks of suffering I finally found solution on YOUR video huge thanks to u love u bro keep doing the content
How exactily does this help with game performance? It's sadly not being explained in the video
Idk but some people say its good to turn off game bar and it helps with games
i think that gamebar boots up in the background even after turning it off, here he completely stopped it from starting(im not sure but i think thats what this vids for)
He explains it here.
ua-cam.com/video/vUxus6g_YwQ/v-deo.html
it uses ram and cpu usage so its most likely better to turn it off
i think this should be tried if u are experiencing stutters because it seems this disables all Microsoft gaming settings like game mode and others which for me work very well.

At the end of your video we change permissions to our Microsoft account(email) to successfully disable gamebar in the registry. Do we need to switch it back to trusted installer like we did earlier in the video?
I was thinking the same thing.
@@m1dri right! Hopefully he replies back
@@jonathandavidson6894 I'll be waiting as well
I will also be waiting.
No need to switch it back, it's just changing the owner so you can rename it or even delete it. Windows can still access it normally.
instead of having to do all this to stop xbox game bar I done it much easier like clicking this: windows-setting-apps-InstalledApps-xbox gamebar-click on 3 dots(...) next to it-advanced options-background permissions- click box in allow this app to run in background and change it to NEVER and it's all done and you can easily turn it back ON if you need to take some replay screenshots or any screenshots as the xbox game bar is required for screenshots.
Please do a full optimization video on windows 11, that would be really appreciated!!

*_One question: The variable refresh rate is good for anything? It can be seen in the graphics configuration section. I don't know if it interrupts or improves my freesync premium in any way, or if it replaces it. Thanks for this tip :)_*
I've been wondering that same too.
I have almost no lag spikes after this! Thank you, before this I had lag spikes every 30 seconds in CS:GO, now there is almost none! :D
Just a couple of questions since you're the most recent comment: Can't you just disable gamebar from running in the background from the settings instead of the hassle? Or will this allow for better performance than just disabling it from the settings?
@@solo3281 I don't think it's possible to completely disable it.
@@solo3281 i think the thing still runs for whatever reason and fucks with stuff regardless. i've always had it disabled and am going to try it in a bit and if it makes any significant change, i'll edit my comment to say so
quick question, if you do the registry edit instead of the one in the system 32 files do you have to do both or just one? Because I only did the registry because the system 32 one didnt work

I almost apply all your settings to my pc but i still have some insane fps drop in fortnite
the game can start at 60fps and insanely drop to 1-10fps
Althought much love to you
Thanks for helping us to improve our gaming experience
Fortnite is the only game that drops for me too
Then don’t play Fortnite. Easy as that
You can try Rivertuner Statistics Server( RSS) and limit the fps to a specific game or for all games to a certain fps.

What's the advantage to this over just disabling game bar? I assume it still runs passively in the background or something even if it's off?
Yep it does
Your videos are well put together #SouthAfrican fan.
Thank you
Also there is an option turning game bar off and on , what does it do?
Bro i cant change my gamebar back to trustedinstaller it says “An object (User, Group, or Built-in security principal) with the following name cannat be found. "NT Service/TrustedInstaller" Check the selected object types and locations for accuracy and ensure that you have typed the object name correctly, or remove this object from the selection.” Wtf do i do?
Great video again! Thanks for all your work!
It's amazing how it works! I was playing God of War and getting constant 60fps, but feels weird somehow. After the fix, OMG, works marvelously.
Thank you so much ! Very great work.
What is the difference between doing this and just disabling game bar in settings?
i think this disables the whole gaming settings profile in windows, including game mode and graphics settings, which i find give me much more fps. i would just disable the game bar specifically in settings and still use the others because for most systems they are effective.
You have the best tutorials, thank you!!
This solved a whole other issue i was having, before doing this voice chat did not work for me in Destiny 2 😅
