Thank you! So many videos meander off-course and this was exactly what I was looking for. I was able to copy all of my Apple Music (iTunes) to my new Google Pixel and the Omnia music player app. :)
finally someone who actually shows something that works and not complete bullshit or things that dont work cos i have nearly 8000 songs when i copied them all some didnt copy due to same name so once transferred these then try copy again and replace the same name ones to do i guess that works right ?

Were the files in iTunes aac m4a files or mp3 files?
Thanks, looks easy enough to do the file transfer, and I like you can move an entire album in one move....but like some others on here, I am wondering about the player on the Android phone. Will it keep things organized like on iTunes? For example, do you have the ability to play an entire album, or is everything moved over as individual song files? Do you have any recommendations on music player apps? I have a Samsung Galaxy phone.

Hey Jamie, I am brand new to Android phones. I've always used Apple products, but decided to switch recently. Am using the POCO F1 (phone) + an iMac (desktop).
1. Is there any way to organise music in the music folder? The reason I ask is because I want to have a separate folder for NEW MUSIC, and another for OLD. This way i can only listen to my new music, and rate it through a music player on my POCO, and then manually transfer the rating (since there is no way to sync) to the songs on my iTunes. Is there a way to organise folders this way on my Android phone?
2. In addition: is it possible to place music according to how I've organised it, rather than it being organised by song name or artist? For example: on iTunes, i have placed songs in a certain order within a new playlist. Can I drag + drop these songs from this playlist into my POCO and have them listed exactly in this way?

What android players will support the m4a and AAC formats? The transfer is good, but are there apps to support the formats?
when you put it into ur android phone it converts the file to something its capable of. (its ask is u want to convert the file)

Does this work for music Purchased in iTunes as well? Been on the apple band wagon for too many years and thinking of changing. Its just all of my music and movies which is holding me back.
yes it should work however i am unable to check this for you as i am currently not home. just try and move everything first as it all stays on your itunes so if it doesnt you havent lost anything

i tried that . there is nothing good on there . i have tried several different ones all with the same outcome.

I dragged and dropped...not from iTunes but from files.
Your video resolution is ATROCIOUS. You can't even see what your folders are or say. They are also so tiny, they are essentially impossible to understand. Also, did you not rehearse this even a little? It seems like you're (trying to) do it off the cuff and you seem a bit uncertain right around 2:50. Furthermore, you're not moving files from Mac to Android, here, you're doing the opposite.

I'm looking to move a 225gb library off iTunes onto a 512gb Galaxy S20 Ultra. When I plug the phone into my MacBook Pro the computer does not recognise the phone and only charges it. Can anyone assist me with how to resolve this issue?

If you have the google music player you will first need to transfer to the pc desktop and then open up google music tab and follow the instructions on there. sorry for the late reply as well i have just been busy.

Jamie-you are going too fast. Can't follow your pointing and clicking. Also, please speak more clearly as I cannot understand some of your words. + I cannot read what is on your screen-it is too fuzzy. You make it appear so simple but I could not make it work. How about beta testing your video with someone that is as dumb as me and just watch them fumble along and learn what you need to do to make this real clear. Best,D
