What a great video. For many years I tried to copy my music from ipod to phone and never could because of Apple system incompatibility. It was simple, easy and fast. I never post comments, but this video is the best. Thank you. I was about to pay for a program to help me do the same. This was free.😊 i would give you 100 likes.
Very handy and spot-on. I never thought of that. Coincidently, I have been struggling with just doing that while I used ineffective methods. Thank you. :)
All my music are stored on haarddrives, portable HD and SSD drives like the T7, USB-C memory sticks and general memory sticks and on the phone itself. I can't be dealing with streaming when depending on signal.
I have my issues with Apple going back as far as the first Macs. Trying to break out from the IBM and clones crowd they established this bubble in and of themselves. In simple terms, they didn't play well with others. That has continued, keeping their hardware and approved software to themselves. There are some plusses in doing that, as long as someone doesn't mind staying within the Apple ecosystem. I don't care to be. When MP3 players came on the market, most were capable of being data storage devices, of course music storage/playing devices, had FM tuners, and could record from radio and their onboard microphones too. Steve Jobs thought all that as old school. No FM tuner, no data storage, all tightly tied to iTunes where individual songs were $1 apiece. The Apple faithful ate them up along with many others, largely ignoring the much broader offering of MP3 players. This continues with cellphones, especially in the US.
@jimmyispromo its, samsung phone states unsupported Apple Usb drive and wants me to format which I think I should not as I can loose music in ipod. Any suggestions?
Hey dude! Do you know how to copy and transfer playlists over to the phone so you can keep your songs grouped together like they are on the ipod? Or can you only copy over the songs?
Question completely unrelated to this video. How did you get your watch to display its battery level in that. widget? I have the same widget but can't get the watch to display.
Hi Jimmy! I followed your instructions to transfer 2000 songs from my ipod to my Samsung S23 ultra, and after my phone recognizes the iPod as USB storage 1 it tells me: "There aren't any files attached on USB device". I disconnected the iPod and my music is still there. Any pointers you could give me? Many thanks in advance.

Can someone help because I'm trying to do this and it's just not showing on my phone the ipod
Does this same process work if a person has Spotify?
Can you do this if you have Apple music on your Galaxy phone?
Don't know for sure. Haven't logged into any apple anything for over a decade.
The only thing I could get when i connected the ipod to my s24 ultra was the prompt to format the ipod which obviously I'm not going to do
Everytime I plug my ipod in it makes me reformat and then there are no files. Thoughts? What format is your ipod initially?
Have they responded??
@@rolys00 Nope. I've tried everything to get it working too
Can i do the opposite to an ipad 1 , so that i can listen to them that would be great 🙏👍, thanks for a great channel ❤
Maybe. I don't own apple other than this one ipod thing
Now do Zune 30. 😁
Don't believe I've owned one. Lol
@Jimmy is Promo Awww man!
@Jimmy is Promo Well, you're definitely going to help my sister, who has her dearly departed husband's pristine ipod since he passed.
