Always great to get good tips and advice from you guys, they really help. Remember it’s not only me there helping so feel free to pass them on in any of our videos. Adrian…
Wud ya be selling them tyres and rims?
hi the first comment on your vids ,as a retired maintenance fitter a good tip is to use anti seize grease on the treads of studs and bolts ,it makes it so much easer to remove them for later repairs I have used it all my working life and never had a seized bolt or nut or stud after using copper slip , keep up the brill vids and all the best from Gerry
Lovin the restoration vidjers always like them old tractors with a bit of takin care of they work for generations!
Hello from Moosomin, Saskatchewan, Canada. Thanks for sharing your great video’s please keep them coming
Watching from California. Grand to see you preserving a piece of history. Nice touch that it’s for your Father also. Thanks for the video very enjoyable. We had a TVO which I started driving on as a kid.
Thanks for tuning in Mike, bringing back and making new memories is what it’s all about 👍
What a great vlog, i love seeing the t20 comming back 2 life, the tractor that your father, my father and so many others started farmimg with, for me it brings back great memories,
Always nice to see vintage tractors being rescued, I’m sure you’re father will be helping do many small jobs around the farm with a nice smile on his face when its finished.
She’s coming together nicely 👍
great video great tractor, good to see it used again
Super job Adrian, love seeing the 20 come together for you. My advice is still to respray it back to its original colour. Handy wee tractor for odd jobs around the farm 👍🏼
Thanks very much for the update, fair play to ya.
I had a 53 TVO and it was a great wee tractor to work on. Simple and straight forward - I regret selling it after watching this video -- well done on yours
Great Video Adrian . She coming just Grad . Don’t you just love the dogs get in the way 😂😂 lovely to see 🐶
I was just about to hit the sack (Cairns, Australia) then this little midweek surprise, nice one Adrian.
Cheers mate, only 11.30am here
What a great look for the Ferguson. Good job!
Great video Adrian the wee tractor is coming along nicely 👍
Love these restoration projects that may take a while but get done. I remember my Da's wooden boat project that was to be fibreglassed over the rotten bits, never did see it get finished :-)
Great work Adrian, look forward to more videos on the old Fergie.
Best ever show on the internet
I very much doubt that but appreciate the fact your enjoying it Brent 👍
Once again another great video. I could look at them all day long Adrain 👍🏻👍🏻
Great to see work on the 20 coming along Adrian.
Great video Adrian, she's coming together, looking forward to seeing her running
A lot skill, good job 👍👍

Great video Adrian, can't wait to see it when its done
Same here Shane 🙈🤣
Great work aidrian nice to see you back at that tractor
I reckon that was really enjoyable tipping away on the old ferguson 20
Yes I really enjoy that kinda work when I get the proper time to do it.
Good job Adrian you are fairly cracking on with it. Looking forward to the next one. 👍
Great video Adrian, she's came to a good home
Good video Adrian great to see the 20 coming together 👍
You must get talking to Lake Land machinery and see if they have a wee transport box for the little grey fergie as you did say you wanted it work Adrian love the videos keep them coming can't wait till the next part
I seen loads of them on the internet but there crazy money, I’m going to build something that my dad had on his.
@@IFarmWeFarm look forward to seeing what you make
Looking forward to seeing it up and running 🏃♂️😀
Nice update. Always good to get working on the fergy but hard to find the time. Once you think you've everything sorted something else will break.
Just done up a tef 20 myself they look mighty when they’re done. I would suggest looking at the gear selectors as the ones on mine were battered especially if you want to have it for use. The only thing is they are hard to find. They don’t make them new so you’ll have to look around at scrap yards and other places . Also this is obvious but I replaced the clutch on mine.
Great videos I only found you two weeks ago and I have seen all your video's better than millennium farmer as your a Irish farmer 👍👍👍
Great video Adrian 👍
Tis amazin that the weather was actually nicer back in May than it is August 😂😂
Top video, fairplay too you champ
Hi Adrian, check out an induction heater bolt removal tool, some job for some of those hard to remove ones!
She’s coming along nicely. It’ll be nice to see her doing a little bit of work and not kept in a corner of a shed. Little finger bar mower would look well on the back of her.
Great to see you working on the T20 again adrian
It's coming along nicely there Adrian good job 👍 👍 🏴
Nice one Adrian
They joys of nights/ evenings I'm 1 of first to see the Fergie update 😅
Great video Adrian
Great job A..loved this one...I know your some what against it but with the new parts going on the tractor I would be tempted to get her resprayed when fully restored (my opinion at the moment)
Your doing an amazing job on the restoration
Coming together nicely Adrian 👍🏻
Don't scrap the old rims use them as dual wheels when required that spacers and studs are still available or can be fabricated. Safer on the hills and you might be able to stop better going down them on wet grass. Great video alway a pleasure to watch. The storys the wee fergie could tell 🤔😁 seat safe 🏴
Oh no I certainly wouldn’t scrap them, will get a better look at them when the tyres are off
@@IFarmWeFarm I get round to doing up my one as some point but like following your progress when I can. Problem I have is when I pick up a spanner I forget to put it down again 😉😂👍
Hi Adrian, curious where you learnt all your engineering/mechanical/wiring skills?…you are like a mechanic/electrician/farmer all in one!
Hi Adrian great video
There is a crowd in mullingar I bought loads of stuff off for massey
Buckleys if your stuck for studs etc
Can't wait to see it back on the field working
Great video.
She’s looking well now Adrian😍I just think you should have put a second battery tray on the other side we have one on ours when it’s empty you can put tools on it or anything but when you need a second battery for staying its there👍🏼just a tip if you wanted😉🤌🏼
I know what you mean, there would of been to 6v battery’s on both sides original to make up 12v. Might do that one day
@@IFarmWeFarm ye but even another 12 v battery would be grand just for starting her up on a cold winter morning or anything 🤷🏼♂️but you could have the battery tray empty and someone can stand there either 🤔
Great job. Better off to paint it now with all the new parts
I have a new plan for it 👍
Class
Great video Adrian, best one yet! What are you plans for painting the tractor? With the new parts going on I would be tempted to paint the whole tractor to match it all together.
I don’t really like a fully painted Ferguson on less it’s a very very good job. Like showroom!!
Think it steels there charm, but I will paint the rims, dash, seat and foot wells. Undecided with the bonnet, going to leave everything else as is. Polish up all the pipes and fittings along with the injectors. That’s kinda what i’m thinking so fare.
Nice, nice, very nice!
Excellent!
file or grind 2 flats on something round for your vise grips to lock onto
Loving the vlog. Just got myself a te20 and want to get rid of some rust and repaint. I’m a complete novice! Is this something you have done or could you point me in the right direction
Getting ready for a Mow off , old fergie meets new , I don,t think Krone made a cutting bar tho. Great job Adrian
Might have to mount a set of front weights to take the krone 🤣.
Adrian not sure but one of those rear tyres is on whong way round
It is yes, someone just throw on a set of wheels to get it rolling I’d say, there definitely not original anyhow
Vicecrips can do anything 😂 great vid
How’s you dad he must be thrilled with the work you are doing on this old tractor
He’s camera shy but he is helping me, he runs every time a break out the camera 🤷🏻♂️🤣
Hi Adrian just wondering could you help me out bought a1953 Ferguson tef20 diesel for my son he's 15yrs doing a bit of tidding up on it there is a Bolt in the engine block leaking oil you have to take off oil filter to get at it I'm wondering can I screw it out and put new washer on it I'm afraid is it holding up something inside block.
Very interesting. I assume you going with one battery rather then the original two .
Yes I think I’ll stick with the one for now, a lot cleaner looking i think
Loving the fergie vids! I've got a fordson super major to do was my grate uncles came to the farm brand new and I forget what went wrong with it around 98 don't know where to start with it 😅
Would love a Fordson Super one day, I think there a great looking tractor, you should check out the one Lord Muck fixed up on his channel.
@@IFarmWeFarm yes definitely will search him up now, cracking tractor perfect for the tedder it has the major loader on her too 👍
Love it
Nice work may I suggest a small pice of wood as a spacer at the back of the battery to stop the battery moving back and rubbing on the stud head's
Very good advise, I was going to use a piece of rubber from an old mat but wood could be a better solution 👍
Great vid 👍but thought you were going to be a Rust-o-ration ☹️
The PTO shaft is to small on the tractor you can get a adapter to Mack it fit
when i see a lot of rust i get some evapo-rust and try that first, gets rid of rust and gives a clean thread, i also if i get a real stubborn bolt or nut i use sealant and create a well and then pour evapo-rust in and wait 24 hours, its well worth getting and can be reused over and over again....
With the cost off buying it & all the money you have spent on it you would a got a bigger old tractor capable off actually doing abit off work but I know that's what u wanted for sentimenal reasons, good job your doing anyway, but I personally wouldn't want to go smaller than a 35 or 35x
Ferguson TEF20 Rebirth 😉
If you are dealing with rust you can't reach, you can use phosphoric acid 75 or 85 %.
Great video,do you ever drill hole thorough center of them old bolts.
You can do, but I find if a bolt or nut shears off you can weld a nut on the inside to the sheared bolt and the heat alone would free it up. Have done it several times and it’s never failed
👍👍
Maybe the vice cpisps were the only way to go i taught you were mad trying that
Great video you won't need a spacer when you put the roll bar on it will act as one
Adrian will u be selling the old tyres and rims?
I probably will, not worth a whole pile
@@IFarmWeFarm oh right because i have a 20 for doing up a tvo one the rims that are on her a red rotten and the tyres are bald eggs
Hi Adrienne can u try and post more vids love the vids
I’d love to but it’s not easy when ur a one man show.
First time I see a rear view mirror on the exhaust.
It’s the boy racer in me, I’m always happy when there in the rear view mirror 😜🤣
@@IFarmWeFarm It is your tractor, just that I noticed it as quite......unusual.
this i like very much.. I understand what you are talking about. granny90
I was thinking of getting a nc super 3000 slurry pump what do you think of them
Good mixer, we put a lower shaft seal in ours a few months back but other than that it’s being fault less. If your tank is longer than a 4 bay I’d consider the next size up if your tractor can handle it.
Heres a top tip sell all the tools except them vise grips 👌
🤣🤣
Adrian are the new tyres 11x28 and are they expensive
I waiting for a company to come back with a price for tyres and rims. I will mention all that in and upcoming video PJ 👍
@@IFarmWeFarm that’s great thanks
How would a TEF20 differ from a goldbelly ( 35 4c ), I intend doing something similar to Adrian
35 would have more power and an overall better tractor all round. Original gold belly are hard got though. Personally I’d have a 35X over this 20 but it’s my father first tractor so that’s more important
@@IFarmWeFarm yes I bet your father will love seeing this running like new, I am restoring my goldbelly for mowing (small dual disk mower) and topping although I’m going to try my best to keep it authentic as people love them, real pain in the arse to start though
Have you closed your merchandise shop
Yes about 2-3 weeks ago, we’re opening a new one in the coming weeks and I will be giving updates on that very soon
@@IFarmWeFarm 👍 thank you
normaly there are two 6 volt batteries...
Them rims are of a 1946 continental te 20
I must look that up, thanks for the info lad 👌👍
WD40 really is a miracle fluid isn’t it
Welcome to the world of Pattern parts stay away from the bonnet panels for they will drive you demented
I’ve heard that, it’s always the way 🤷🏻♂️👍
