    Am I the only woman that finds this fascinating to watch ...I did do 2 years of car maintenance class and loved it ,that was when you could work on your car ..a mark 3 Cortina....best wishes from the North Norfolk Coast UK Stay safe and well everyone

    I've just bought my '54 TEF20 from my cousin...a year younger than myself. There's a little bit of tidings up of the panels but overall there shouldn't be too much to do. I came for the tractor story and stayed for the cows ;)

    Adian, Bob was my brother-in-law. Lovely, video! Dirty oil some water in it; it looks like! Beautiful work! That seal look well seated. Please don't apologize for the delay, Adrian. You have a new baby in the house and it is calving season, Please man, you're working two person's job, or maybe even three. Love watching you putting the tractor back together. I am learning so much. Thank you.

    Something different Adrian, very enjoyable, I do prefer seeing the cattle and hearing how other people work their cattle but you can't have cattle all the time and seeing Tractors is the next best thing, your a handy guy Adrian and there is such a sense of satisfaction when you repair something mechanical, if she does start I am sure you will soon sort her out, great video well done very enjoyable

    I know it's 11 months since you posted this video, you where so lucky to remove that brake drum with your hands, in all the years I worked on tractors I never had one like that, it was heat hammer or sledge hammer even smashed the drums, we always used a centre pop on the retainer screws if you did not have to drill them out, Happy New year to you and your family

    I drive my 135 and goldbelly all late spring and late summer and I love them without a cab, it can be colder, yes but the cabs never are the best and can be a pain, the only reason I live the cabs is the aspect of safety, many times I have clipped my leg on the tyre or rested my hand to far out to the left and be driving along only to have dust in the eyes. Nowadays I would say cabless is the better option, at least for >40 horsepower machines

  • @drdulas5055
    @drdulas5055 3 роки тому

    We had a similar tractor as this and we had a very very small wheel seal leak on both sides that wreck the brakes. I would replace the axle seals if I was doing it. We also use to drill, tap and put a grease Zerk on the front hubs if it was possible to make sure they had grease. Why do you have one of the tires mounted with the tire bars reversed? That snap ring on the PTO is what I call a Jesus ring. When it comes off and flys I say Jesus where did it go. lol We have had water getting into the casing through the boot around the shift lever. Sorry for all the questions but I love your videos and how you explain everything so well. Thank you from the USA!!

    • @IFarmWeFarm
      @IFarmWeFarm  3 роки тому +1

      Yes them axle seals can leak and destroy the brake shoes, not hard to fix though just takes a bit of time. Yes one tyre is on wrong, was like that when I got it but I’m not to bothered as we’ve a new set of wheels for it.
