Just got this exact car, except with the all black interior, last week after trading my 2020 S. And I paid under sticker while the dealer nearest my home wanted an extra $5k! I loved the previous S model but due to the hideous wheels on the 2023 S trim level I made the decision to move up to the SX. The Prestige package pushed the sticker north of where I wanted to be but because I got $34k on my trade, (which I got for under the sticker of $36k in 2020!), I was able to move up to this beauty. I will say on the way home from the dealership I panicked when the “massaging lumbar seat” kicked in however. It was anything but comfortable & I pulled over & immediately deactivated it for now. So for all the haters saying KIAs are junk & won’t retain their value that is simply not true, at least for the Telluride. But it pays, (greatly), to shop around. I literally drove in just to get an appraisal on my car & drove out 2 hours later in a car I had not even considered buying due to the MSRP of $53k. Trying to find exactly what you want does remain a problem as they sell so fast. I checked the online inventory throughout the state for 3 months before I actually saw some that weren’t already sold when they hit the lot. And even if you order one you may be looking at a 6 month delivery date with no guarantee that it won’t be canceled for no apparent reason. KIA is not perfect but the Telluride remains an incredible car, if not an investment, unlike any I’ve had!
Thank you for this video. At 37:25 you start talking about the "Digital Key Card" while showing the mechanical key that locks the glove box. Can this really be programmed to open and lock the Telluride? That would be great, but It seems that there is a credit card-ish item that is the Digital Key Card and the mechanical keys cannot be programmed.
Your correct...the key card looks like a credit card and is programmed to start the car as well as lock & unlock the doors. The mechanical key opens/locks the doors in case of key fob battery failure.
