I made it exactly the same, just added some coconut. Amazing! My husband loved it too, we've been adding it to our yogurt in the morning. We even eat it just like that. Making it at home cost me about half the price of the store, with no additives added. I'm making it today again and taking some to my parents this afternoon.
I made this and i added more Hazelnuts, sesame and cocoa powder and wow!! It was so good and for those whose wondering dont worry you taste the olive oil . Thanks for the recipe
I made 2 batches of this granola recipe already. Getting ready to make a third batch but was wondering if I were to change the olive oil to either avocado or coconut oil. I don’t like coconut (texture), but I like coconut water.
This is the one for me.I been watching. ...Like 20 different granola recipes, and this is the one I like the most I will only change the olive oil to another kind of oil thank you so much nice recipe
I have made like eight batches of this. Everyone loves it. I have settled on 24 minutes. Keeps some of the oat flavor without getting too toasty. Make sure there aren't any stray pieces when it's cooking, and mix it well, or it is more likely to burn. I take the whole pan out of the oven to mix it thoroughly so that the oven keeps the heat inside. 120ml of olive oil is about 109g. So you can add it right on top of the mix using a scale. No need for a measuring cup for any of this. One bowl, scale, wooden spoon.
So this morning I was feeling the creative energy to make our own granola for fruit, yogurt and granola parfaits - and boom, PECAN granola recipe from you. Pecans, making every meal great again and again!
@@vivaeuropa ok but you’re not going to eat 139g in one serving, this would make at least 12 1/2 cup servings, which would be just over 11g of sugar per serving. If you just use it as a topping it would make 24 1/4 cup servings at around 6g of sugar per serving.
I used dates, coconut oil, raisins and dry coconut flakes. The taste is heavenly. I'm making another one and I'll probably substitute the coconut flakes with almonds.
I’ve been using this recipe for over a year now. I’ve changed it up here and there to suit my taste. Instead of 4 cups of rolled oats I use 3 cups and 1 cup of walnuts, 1 cup of pecans, 1/2 cup of slivered almonds and 1/2 cup each of raw sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds. I’ll change up the virgin olive oil to avocado oil every so often. I’ve used coconut oil once. Instead of 30 minutes I baked it 40 minutes stirring it every 8 minutes to get a more crispy texture.
I tried this yesterday, with few changes: using wallnuts instead of pecans, swapping 120g olive oil with 100g coconut oil and also adding pumpkin seeds. I ended up baking it for 35 minutes and the end-result was absolutely lip-smacking. It's my daily breakfast now with fruits and yogurt :) Thank you for this amazing and easy recipe.
I made it and I substituted nuts & sunflower seeds to 1 and a half cup of raw peanuts since I am not a fun of the recommended nuts and sunflower seeds. I also substituted the olive oil to coconut oil and added 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract. So yummy :) Great recipe.
Just tried this recipe and the granola turned out delicious much more tastier than store bought. The only difference I used coconut oil after reading the suggestions from the comments. Thank you for the delicious recipe 😊
How come everyone is so shocked about the olive oil? Get over it! This is her specific recipe and that much oil isn't hurting anyone unless you are eating way more granola than you need to be lol. If you don't wana use the olive oil use some coconut or avocado or WHATEVER oil lol all I know is when I pulled up UA-cam and typed in "homemade granola" I was more than pleased with this recipe and will be making it! Lol
Perfect recipe. Because I wanted less sugar. I used 1 tablespoon of honey. The tip is to make it moist so I used 1/2 cup of water. Perfect granola I had.
I made this today and trust me it came out just amazing ❤❤❤ thankyou for sharing your recipe with us. Just one doubt that u have not mentioned about it shelf life. Cau u please mention that too.
To all who dont have an oven you can use yoir frypan over heat with continuous stirring also oil your pan if none stick. I made a small amount so if your making a larger amount take it in batches unless your pan is hella big
This is one delicious meal prep breakfast! (Gluten-free) Thank you for sharing this recipe and I would definitely recommend this recipe to my family and friends. I use True Elements Rolled Oats with Honey and Almonds as they are a clean label brand food which makes it trustworthy and is 100% pure and I eat them for my breakfast after my gym workout. And trust me they are the best. Thank you again for this video :)
I cut the honey in half and used real maple syrup. I'm never buying breakfast cereal again! Thanks you for the east recipe. I also used a sheet cake pan instead of a cookie sheet. It was very easy to stir during the baking process with the deeper pan.
That's not a video I should have been watching after eating all the calories I need for one day. Now I'm starving. Thanks. Sure gonna try that recipe. Thanks again.

Loved the recipe.... it turned out pretty good but it did burn a bit even though I stirred it regularly.....next time I will take it out sooner. Also I did not get clumps of granola. But overall a very yummy recipe.
I add chopped Medjool dates instead of cranberries at the end because of the amount of added sugar in dried cranberries. Also added a little dried coconut chips.
You don’t need oil. I used a frothy egg white. Also added ground flax seed, chia, pumpkin seeds, coconut, dried cranberries and patted down mixture. Cool completely and then break into pieces.
Thanks for this simple recipe. I tried half of the recipe today, sadly the granola was burned at 16 minutes when I did the second stirring… Am I supposed to half the time if I bake only half the recipe?
Can we use normal cookin oil or it has to be olive oil. Also as dry fruits can we add dried apricots kiwi etc. At the same time u added the cranberries.
Finally, someone who doesn’t tell us her whole life between each step.
Ayyy that's what I thought it so ANOYYING when they do that I came for the recipe not ur life💀

Put the olive oil in before the honey, then use the same measuring cup for the honey. It'll come out easier

Coconut oil is the way to go for me

Those who think or wonder if you taste the olive oil it’s because they have never cooked in their life’s 🤣🤣
Some Olive oils you can taste. That being said all you have to do is swap it for another oil
I think I am used to the taste or use a mild olive oil. I was totally looking for a recipe that didn’t require coconut oil so this works perfect!
Keep in mind there is a 139g of sugar in a half of a cup of honey. That defeated the whole purpose of this being healthy in my opinion.
