    Thanks Dave! I took your advice to close up my stance as well which helped my windage significantly. Scoring is up and my accuracy on doubles has increased also.

    So that's what I've been doing wrong, my arms are also "open" when on the oche.I too have lots of side movement, throwing my darts constantly on the 1's and 5's. Thanks for the tips.

    Hi Dave, great vids mate. this might be off topic, would what way would you say is best way to go if your on 90 and your opponent is on a finish. would you go T18 for D18 and if S18 go double double (18). or the s20 s20 bull route , or would you go bull/25 first dart so you can go for 15 for a shot of a bull?

      Hi Johnie
      It all depends on what your opponent is on if they are on a ton plus finish its bull for tops why because it will if you hit it deal a blow to your opponent if you miss the bull hit 25 choice time. Another 25 for tops but me it would be 15 for bull. Bull finish always deals a big blow to an opponent. cheers Dynamite Dave..

    I have a question, I always seem to change my throw as in my throwing technique like I can't settle on it and I'm not sure what to do

    • @DynamiteDaveLlewellyn
      @DynamiteDaveLlewellyn  6 років тому +1

      go back to basics and start again variations in throw will greatly reduce your ability to play well because your always in two minds as to witch throw to use. Consistency is the key you may find you throw well for a short period of time when using a new or different throw this is nothing to do with the throw itself its your level of concentration is lifted when you change. Exactly the same as changing darts you naturally try harder with new kit until you become familiar then it all goes wrong.
      Cheers dynamite Dave.

      david llewellyn thanks for the reply, do you believe my throw should be what's natural to me or Technically developed into a very good throw like you did?

      Also another quick question, is a 60 average good enough to play local?

      logical wins out every time now hears my thoughts on it there is a right and wrong way to do things how do you think you would do if you just sat in front of a piano and started to bang on the keys. Or if someone gave you a golf club and just let you thrash at the ball A set of keys to a moto gp bike and just let you try to ride it with no instruction what so ever no to well i would predict. so my question would be what makes a lot of lads and lasses think they can pick up a set of darts and automatically be good a it. now here is a good one for you and its very poignant if you have been driving for 20 years without further instruction and learning you have in fact been driving for one year and just repeated it 19 times. so yes i believe tuition and logical analysis is fundamental in achieving a high skill level.
      Cheers Dynamite Dave.
