Very good🤗 nice voice
love this 😍😎new sub🖐🏾
Wow very nice!! Thank you for this. Just curious, how do they look now being out on the weather for over a month??
Badjao357| the furniture still looks great- I removed the cushions and beams during the fall and winter to protect them from 🌧 and ❄️!
I am getting ready to start my deck bench project and have seen so many of these shown as DYI and I have not liked them at all. But yours is stunning! You chose the right color combo for sure and your configuration of a sectional looks amazing. Thanks for sharing! My big question is, do you feel like the wood pieces are spaced too far apart for a bottom to sit comfortably?
Sharper Johnston Brosnan| Thanks a million for stopping by I do appreciate your feedback… Please be sure to check out my second video as to how I styled this particular cinderblock bench, click here:
ua-cam.com/video/bPZt_4jJd3I/v-deo.html
I hope this helps.
Really LOVE this look. The color combo. And thank you for being to the point :) Not dragged out 🙌🏼
Thanks for the INSPO 😊 Will you add any cushions?
Mia P| thanks a million for viewing the video and sharing your thoughts… It was a fun project!
This is so beautiful! What color stain did you use? It's perfect!
Thanks a million K, The name of the stain I used is Early American.
great job!! thank you.. does the back hold up if you lean back?
Thank you Jason, yes, the sectional is completely stable.
Looks awesome! What is the name of the stain?
Thanks for stopping by to watch the video… the stain I used is Early American.
This is beautiful! How many cinder blocks was used to create this?
How many cinder blocks did u use? I love your sectional.
I live the look. Wanted to warn you. I did the concrete in the bucket and we had a wind storm and they blew over and broke everything in their path . Anchor to your fence.
Thanks a million Alice... I think we will take your advice! 👍🏽
looks so good. Do the cinder blocks fall over ? Do they just stack on top of each other with no concrete / mortar holding them together ? ty
Private Person| thx for stopping by… the cinder blocks are extremely heavy so they stay put. I glued mine for additional security.
Very nice Sistah. I'm working on my Bench this weekend. Will the Nailglue work better than industrial adhesive?
Mz Wisdom| Thank you! To be honest, I am not sure... Our blocks are still securely attached in spite of the previous harsh winter.
Looks great, that question is the cushion that you made for the couch can it get wet or do they need to be under a roof.
Larry Towe| thanks a million for checking out my video... I do not leave my cushions outside since I don’t have a overhead covering- slightly OCD regarding cleanliness. The cushions are not water resistant.
Awesome project! Thanks for sharing!!
Loveeee this, was planning to do an all wood one but I think I like this better. How many cinder blocks did you use total ?
27
Hello . I really like your patio idea and was wondering how many 🧱 cinder blocks you used for the project.
Yasel| thanks a million for stopping by, I used 27 blocks total. Good success with your project!
This looks amazing!!! How many cinder blocks did you use?
Jacqueline| thanks a million... I used 27 cinder blocks!
Doing this project this weekend. Can you put the link for the foam on Amazon?
Good success John, here’s the link of the foam I purchased... FoamTouch Upholstery Foam Cushion High Density, 3" H x 24" W x 72" L www.amazon.com/dp/B017WPIDB8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_h88HFbF14J0YS
If you don't mind me asking how much did the cinderblock sectional cost?
I'm not the person who built the furniture. But I can tell you that in my state lumber has increased significantly due to demand. Fires, flooding, natural disasters, etc. have inflated lumber 5or6 times what it coast last year! Block is about 2$ apiece. They were slightly above 1$ last year. A quick call to Lowes or Home Depot will determine the cost in your area.
How are they holding up. How is the paint
Question on Cinder blocks. Are these Cinder or Cement blocks..I couldn't find it online in Home depot/Lowe's. Please advise.
Dix, I believe the names are interchangeable- here’s a link to Home Depot... www.homedepot.com/p/Oldcastle-8-in-x-8-in-x-16-in-Concrete-Block-30161345/100350252
I hope this helps.
How do these hold up in the rain over time?
Erbrook| great question... the stain protects the 4x4s however when the seasons transition from fall to winter we plan to cover the sectional.
Did you get the regular cinder blocks or light weights
Terrell| Thanks a million for stopping by my channel… Are use the regular cinderblocks.
As someone who has done outdoor construction for years i like this idea, but a little bit of kiquid nails is not gonna support the back rest if you got a few people sitting on There.... any better ideas?
You have any? I’m curious as I am about to do this maybe
The bricks are solid coupled with the weight of the wooden beams… I haven’t had any problems.
Hi! How much much wood stain did you use?
Maybe half of a small can, the one shown in the video. I hope this is helpful… a little goes a long way with wood stain.
How many cinder blocks?
Lys| I used a total of 27 cinder blocks.
What’s the name of the stain?
The name of the stain is Early America, it’s my favorite!
How many cinder block did u use
Hey Tomas, I use 27 cinder blocks total... I hope this helps.
What is the 4'x4 size
Hello Chiquida, I purchased 2x12ft 4x4s and 8x10ft 4x4s if I remember correctly- I may have mentioned it in the video. I did cut them down to size to fit my diy cushions. Check out my Decorate with me video for details.
If you plan to add cushions, consider the sum total length of them when purchasing your wood. Buying only what you need will save you money and time.
Thanks a million for stopping by the channel- I hope this helps.
How many cinderblocks did you use?
E A| I used 27 cinder blocks
Dope‼️🔥🔥Bout to knock one out for the holiday weekend!New sub alert!!Thanks for the inspirational video ‼️ ✊🏾❤️
Thanks a million, how did yours turn out?
What size are cinder blocks?
Wanda Jazz| I don’t recall the actual size of my cinder blocks but I want to say it is the standard version available at both Home Depot and Lowe’s. They have a smaller option however I chose the standard size. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
So what keeps this from falling over?
Are you referring to the sectional?
@@House_of_Shaw Yes I am. Thanks
@@lenej9 | the sectional is sturdy and stable... sits well.
How’s it holding up 2 yrs later?
Ptheprophet9374| thanks a million for something by the channel, to be honest I’m not really sure. We sold our home, the new owners were pretty excited about the furniture… I can only hope they are taken care of it. To extend the life of the wood and to protect paint job on the bricks, I stored the wood inside during the winter rainy months and left the bricks outdoors under a tarp.
Love your benches and video..jus a recommendation.. next time don't use your inside voice,.. I could barely hear what you're saying.. great job!
How many cinder blocks
Hey Lisa R,
I used a total of 27 cider blocks.
Her. Voice is very alluring 😏
