I love Dave and Taylor but for once I want to see an interview where it's mostly Nate or Chris or Pat talking and answering the questions. They probably don't want to and are happy for Dave and Taylor to take the reins, but it'd be good to get their perspective on life in the Foo Fighters more often. And I mean an interview where the whole band is present. I know there's plenty of individual interviews with thise guys on UA-cam.
Agree. Why are they sitting there if Dave and Taylor are going to do all the talking. Esp. Dave. Don't get me wrong, I love Dave and Taylor, I don't think I've ever heard the others talk on an interview.
Taylor's face at the beginning: "I'm a paranoid schizophrenic! You're all trying to steal my soul! The government is watching me!" What is with that face? 😄 I just love him, he's so cute.
I’m 21 years old now and I can assure you that most ppl around my age would have not been into Rock music this deep if it weren’t for Rock Band and Guitar Hero. That and having older brothers were key in order to appreciate rock properly
There is Nothing Left to Lose is also my favorite record. It is such a great album that feels so different than all of their other discography. Aurora is a top 5 Foo Fighters song for me.
Funny. No drama? What about the making of One by One. Not long after Taylor’s overdose in the UK. The drama over Dave drumming for Queens of the Stoneage? The band almost breaking up in rehearsal for Coachella? I guess “ Back and Forth came out after this interview.
sneifert1968 probably tried keeping it under wraps. I bet bands don't like bringing up there rough patches in the same way that people im relationships don't.
@@evancain4906 Nah lol, I see how you could think that though. I actually didn't see that it said 2008 when I made the comment I think, idk I made it years ago at this point
These are worst, most cliche, tired ass questions you could ever ask a bunch of musicians who have heard every question before. They should really have more experienced musicians interviewing other musicians.
I know Nate seems to relish sitting back and not saying much or doing much outside of the band (he's very much John Deacon-like, I wonder if it's a bassist thing) but Chris always looks like he is uncomfortable in interviews, like he wants to say something but doesnt want to interject... I think it changed a bit when they got older and Pat and Rami started being present, he would speak up more... I feel like they must tell Dave and Taylor they want them to speak most though because Dave has been self aware that he talks most in interviews but he still talks most lol (he is a storyteller though an I wouldnt trade that for anything)
Which is funny because believe me, Dave felt that way in Nirvana. All the things that annoyed him about the dynamic of Nirvana (the Kurt heavy royalty split, being ignored in interviews and/or being talked over by Kurt and Krist, all decisions of touring, recording and arrangements being ultimately up to Kurt) he has passed onto the Foo Fighters 3 fold.
Take these two out of the band and lets see how they sound.....LOL.....I am talking about the two silent ones in the back... this band is not only Dave and an awesome drummer....
make no mistake. this dave's band. the others get a pay chck with his name signed at th bottom. the two in th back are rplacable to him and that's why you don't ever see them talking
Cy2squared That’s not true. Nate and Chris contribute tremendously in the process of their songs coming into being. That’s why they’re still around. Just ask Franz Stahl.
Nate and Chris are both incredibly valuable members to the band, and they are very close friends with Dave. They are only replaceable insofar as any member of any group is replaceable, but no one can do what those guys do, in they way they do it.
Actually, had his assets frozen during making of second album due to divorce from his first wife. This band makes a heck of a lot from touring. Not exactly a pop band either.

yup i agree
I was thinking about the same thing mate, it´s kind of disturbing, I don´t know how to explain it.
I love Chris and Nate are so awesome and amazing and i so agree I want to see them talk and perform their own thing more
Yeah let Chris and Nate Dawg have mic time.
Agree. Why are they sitting there if Dave and Taylor are going to do all the talking. Esp. Dave. Don't get me wrong, I love Dave and Taylor, I don't think I've ever heard the others talk on an interview.
"There Is Nothing Left To Loose" is a great record. Lots of memories come back when I listen to that album.
Really enjoyed what Chris and Nate had to say!
Nate is so hot!
Taylor's face at the beginning: "I'm a paranoid schizophrenic! You're all trying to steal my soul! The government is watching me!" What is with that face? 😄 I just love him, he's so cute.
Sailor Hathor yessss I was thinking that!! Taylor is the best!! 😍😍😄
2:02 😱 I fainted... Taylor is such a god!!
Ever notice how Dave and Taylor’s actions are perfectly in sync - 4:48
Almost like a couple. Just sayin'
there were perfectly in Sync with each other all the there is no one like thoses two together
The color and the shape is one of the best albums ever made.
Absolutely agreed.
From Doll to Wind Up to Everlong to New Way Home. Tremendous record.
True true
There is nothing left to loose is one of the best Albums ever made.
I agree but been really digging the sonic highways album lately
This must have been the last of 50 interviews that day
I’m 21 years old now and I can assure you that most ppl around my age would have not been into Rock music this deep if it weren’t for Rock Band and Guitar Hero. That and having older brothers were key in order to appreciate rock properly
Who else was staring at Chris for the whole vid?
Waiting to see if he’d talk and he does right at the end haha
I thought this was a recent interview ajdsjsj these guys never change
There is Nothing Left to Lose is also my favorite record. It is such a great album that feels so different than all of their other discography. Aurora is a top 5 Foo Fighters song for me.
Guy behind Dave: I’m here because they made me. I don’t want to be here, I don’t care.
These fucking guys are the funniest musicians out there. The jokes are amazing. Love 'em, definetly one of the best rock bands of all time
when I was younger and getting into music I liked behind the music, now that I'm older I think its so goofy.
Nate is so fucking nerdy looking. Love it.
Are Nate and Chris allowed to speak?
Tom Wilson Nate doesn’t really like to. Even when I saw them live, he didn’t want to take a solo

Third album is my favorite album too Dave
Chris starts talking -- cut the video, hahaha.
Nate is like me. The Invisible kid

sneifert1968 this was 09. Back And Forth came out in 2012 around the same time as Wasting Light.
yea, so in 09' they weren't talking about all the drama from 02'-03'
sneifert1968 probably tried keeping it under wraps. I bet bands don't like bringing up there rough patches in the same way that people im relationships don't.
You could see it the way Taylor kinda paused and gave a pretty good non-answer.
sneifert1968 it was Taylor who got the most pissed at Dave
I'd love to know what Chris and Nate are thinking about
If I were adding songs to the greatest hits I would add I’ll stick around, for all the cows, hey Johnny park, DOA, and come alive
Por qué los de atrás están pintados?
En las mayorias de las entrevistas los que mas hablan son dave y taylor deverian estar solo dave y taylor ya que los otros no hablan.
Rip Taylor
wasting light is THE shit
Do the other guys ever get to answer any questions…?
this was released exactly 24 years after Kurt passed.
No it wasn’t
@@evancain4906 Yes it was, kurt died April 5 1994, this was posted April 5 2018
@Some Dank Boi. Sorry, I thought you meant the date of the interview
@@evancain4906 Nah lol, I see how you could think that though. I actually didn't see that it said 2008 when I made the comment I think, idk I made it years ago at this point
Dave’s forearms...pre-feathers.🦅
And what is with Taylor looking catatonic at the beginning? Creepy!
TINLTL is my favorite one too😂
Wow that one guy in the red looks like the drummer from nirvana and the guy in the gray looks like the singer of nirvana
Looking at this interview, it's a pity for Chris the most.
These are worst, most cliche, tired ass questions you could ever ask a bunch of musicians who have heard every question before.
They should really have more experienced musicians interviewing other musicians.
when ever I see Tayloe I have the urge to box set 'Big People Little World'?
Where was Pat and Rami?
These are a bunch of dead end questions. This is why bands hate doing interviews.
Too bad Dave or Taylor didn't defer a question to Chris or Nate
I know Nate seems to relish sitting back and not saying much or doing much outside of the band (he's very much John Deacon-like, I wonder if it's a bassist thing) but Chris always looks like he is uncomfortable in interviews, like he wants to say something but doesnt want to interject... Talyor hawkins looks and sounds like my stoner cousin Sebastian
You should talk!
He's beautiful
Those 2 in the back are like the 2 chicks in pitch perfect that are “just there” ...... “hey! Did they ask us a question?” .... “don’t be stupid”
MTV News is still a thing, huh?
2009 ... news ??
"Stripper from topeka" lol thats where i live
@ThatsRaidillonActually not stripping people would pay me to keep my clothes on and I'm a dude
Would be nice to hear from the other guys rather than just Dave and Taylor.
Americas house band.
I wonder what Chris is 🤔 thinking.
I feel like the ghost of Kurt is there mocking each and every one of them. Except for Nate.
This interviewer needed better questions.
Sometimes I wish Hawkins and Grohl would shut up and let the other members talk because they're starting to look bored in the interviews
Natthan Bagshaw ok
Which is funny because believe me, Dave felt that way in Nirvana. These are terrible questions. I half expected her to ask which songs are about Kurt Cobain.
Smells like middle aged spirit

I loved sonic highways
Looks like Tyler Hawkins got the piece of meat that was stuck in his teeth, at the beginning of the interview- out of his mouth. 😬. 👍🏻✔️
Bored!
Taylor looks high
Unrep doesn’t he always though...? 😆

*BREAKING NEWS* - Foo Fighters have announced that Blink182 drummer *Travis Barker* replaced the late Taylor Hawkins.

Nate's been there since the beginning mate. Foos made great music without Taylor so why is he so irreplaceable.
You haven't seen back and forth if you say Nate is replaceable, he basically save the band from breaking up
+eduardo marcucci agreed that documentary was really good
Is it just me.... gaslight gaslight ... think about it... if they three were girls!!! Just saying
dave has very successfully used his money from nirvana royalties to commercialize his new pop band
Dave was pretty much broke when Nirvana ended.
The Foo is a great rock and roll band; they have some poppier songs, some heavy songs, just all around great rock and roll.
Wym pop?
