- Join me in the first of 3 different vlogs from May 2019 at PortAventura World in Spain! In this action packed vlog I share on ride footage from all of the major rides at the park including Shambhala, Dragon Khan and Furius Baco. Along with that I share my review of the new Sesame Street: Street Mission dark ride that's new for 2019 in SesamoAventura.
Along with all of that I capture the wonderful atmosphere of PortAventura Park along with sharing highlights from some of the spectacular live entertainment including We Dance On Movies!

There should be a system where everyone queue-jumps in front of the queue-jumpers so that they never actually make it to the front. 😁 👌

On dragon Khan at the left there is a sepperate queue and people use it if they have a disabled pass. This could be if they have autism or something similar it's not them quew jumping just trying to let people know. I know you might not be thinking of this but not many people know about this and sometimes people get a bit of abuse while doing this from what I have seen.

i came to portaventura in july 2019 (i live in the uk) and it was a dream of mine to go to a great park like this as soon as i entered the park because of how beautiful it was shambhala is definitely the best ride i’ve ever been on. i experienced the queue jumping on dragon khan and it was terrible
Queue jumpers annoy the hell out of me. Nobody’s waiting in line for the fun of it, what makes them think they’re entitled to do it!? 🤬
I find it hilarious when you can see the Express ticket holders end up in the wrong queue.
The Cinematic Mind OMG THAT HAPPENED TO ME . I was in Ferrari land just beside Portaventura park and we were in a queue for flying dreams ( amazing ride ) and the queue was sooo long about 1/1:30 hours. So we were queuing and this women and her daughter came from behind us and kept pushing forward. Then my mom confronted them and the mother didn’t speak English but the daughter did and she said they had fast pass but they obviously didn’t it was sooo annoying
I mean they make it affordable. It’s the chumps who just complain as they can’t afford them.
Super, late reply. But I live in Spain, and Queue jumping is normal here. Its kinda part of 'Culture' if you wanna call it that, they think if a family member is there, yo can jump ahead to meet them. It is annoying but it is in Spanish blood according to my Spanish m8 Lol

There should be no staggered openings at any park. It should be open for full park hours you paid for to reduce queues.

I rode the Dragon Khan in 1999! They've added so much more since then, it looks ace! I also remember the 2 water parks called Aqua Leon and Aqua Polis, thanks for sharing this, mate.
Imagine Shawn designing a theme park it would have to be absolutely perfect lol 😂 if there was a leaf out of place the thing would have to close.
On the tower drop ride when me and my mates realised it was stand up we though w were gonna die and then when it tilted at the top we were gonna cry because everyone thought it broke 😂😂
I went here at 14 and our hotel el paso had just opened so as part of the package we got 2 week passes to the theme park. All the kids had just gone back to school so through the week their were no queues. Legendary place. Great video bringing back 20 yer old memories.
11:42 actually you would. It’s called Colossus at Thorpe Park 😂 It runs 1 train in 80 minute queues
I remember my visit to PortAventura, it was one of the best weekends of my life, but I remember Stampida to be very jerky and rough towards the end of the ride. I remember getting off the ride with a back and jaw pain...
Hahahaha are you serious? You must be so weak man, I am Catalan so I been to Port Aventura many times, Stampida is not that hard hahahah jaw pain? You must been busy the night before that's why 🤣🤣🤣

I agree with you on Street Mission: it is a really nice dark ride. My little boy really enjoyed it. Stampida is a great funny ride except that I got bruises on my thighs.

One off my favorite parks! Rode Shambala 19 times in a row in 2016 end of the season and the waiting times were only 5 minutes you could walk right true the cue. Number 2 after Taron. Shame the red force wasnt open yet. Going back this summer to ride that one. Awesome vid m8!

Great to see Shambhala again. I loved it when i went last year for the first time. Has to be my top coaster at the mo. Furios Baco was awful, i came off with an horrendous headache. It was like being in an earthquake. I saw the bird man there when i went he was great and we met some of the birds after the show.
Furios Baco for me as someone who loves Launch coasters is too damn rough and intense for me.
I went there in 1999 as we were staying in Salou but I couldn't pluck up the courage to go on Dragon Khan. I loved the wild west area the best but it is an awesome park and have been wanting to go back for years and take the kids as I know they will love it there. xxxxx

Fantastic video. Wish I'd seen this 1st as we've been back 2 weeks now. Went 5th may for 3 days and stayed at El Paso hotel, also great.
Loved it and you've just brought back so many memories.

Hi shawn what a great vlog it looks so lovely there . After my 1st trip ever abroad to Majorca in June I may have to go to salou and visit porta ventura . Shambala looks amazing I'm 48 years old but I just love coasters I always have since going to Alton towers when I was 13 back in 1983 . We went on the corkscrew and that was it i was hooked . Thankyou can't wait for the next vlogs xxxxx

I went here last month for the first time ever and honestly wasn't expecting much from it (parents chose a hotel and said there is a theme park nearby) but as soon a I entered omg I fell in love with the park! Couldn't believe it! Theming is beautiful, great rides! Everything about it is hella amazing! Deffo want to visit again sometime! 😁
Thank you for reminding people that everyone has their own preferences for coasters. I have Son of Beast and Drachen Fire both in my top 10. I rode them both very early in their short life spans and they were fantastic. It's all about personal preference.

I went there this summer and loved it, what a beautiful park! Shambhala and Red Force made it in my top 3 roller coasters, Furius Baco was fun but unfortunately my experience with Dragon Khan sucked. I rode it in the back row and it was a head banging nightmare, I was completely unable to enjoy the ride after the first drop. Hated every second of it. Maybe I just rode it on a bad day, I'll have to go back and see!

The Seasame Street attraction looks great! I’m a huge Jim Henson fan and his properties have been criminally underused in parks (mainly muppets at Disney)
I've been in port aventura twice one time in one of the hotels in port aventura and I have tot say when you go in the evening its so great you pay 20 Euros for it and you can enter from 6 tot 12 and some days they have a special day then the park is open to 3 in the night, the park is a must to enter one time in your life just go in the shambhala 😂
Great vlog Shawn, and what a great park PortaVentura is, i love that they let you film on the rides as well. That show was realy good as well. They should clamp down on those queue jumpers though, not fair on everyone else.

I Went Here As A School Trip Around Halloween Time And I Had A Really Great Time. It Was Decorated Really Well And There Was A Big Parade At The End Of Each Day.
I was just there a week ago! I loved it it was my first time going ❤️.. I didn't go on Dragon Khan or Shambala however as I am a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to roller coasters as big as those 😅
One of the reasons I went is because I watched your PortAventura vlogs and I really wanted to go then because it looked so fun!

Me and my family went to Salou on holiday in 2007, this is the 1st ride we'd been on, didn't know anything about it, we got to the train and watched it set off & we all thought what have we gotten ourselves in for haha, wow I think my stomachs still there in that station lol, the best thing is a few wks after we all got home, my sister did a pregnancy test, she was 6 wks pregnant so she was pregnant without knowing on Furious Baco, my niece is now 13 and funnily enough she loves roller coasters haha
THAT WAS DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT! £9.99 heading there is not too bad going that, as well as the Europa Park and Pleasure Beach passes, so in fairness it’s a bargain! Really enjoyed this vlog as always, but the main thing is that I hope when I’m back in August that operations will be a lot better than what they were last May, they were awful when we were last there, but that doesn’t spoil a beautiful park, I absolutely love this place to pieces, just a shame about the poor operations!

Re: Operations; I was at this park from the 7th til the 9th of May and aside from Baco running 2 every major coaster ran on 1 train all day long afaik so don't count on them adding more as the day goes on. Really was a let down from what is a gorgeous park with some great rides.

I was at PortAventura once when Shambhala was running 3 trains, the park was open until 11 pm that day (I believe it was the first day of the Halloween event), although that night it was reduced to 2 trains after a breakdown, which I was unlucky enough to be on one of the trains about to enter the station before the screw up.
Since this Corona shit happend and I'm out of work I have been binche watching you're vlogs and absolutely love them. Definitely want to ride coasters with you when this is all over.

Great park been here 5 times and love it. Some people do give El Diablo a bit of stick but as its a classic arrow we can't forget to ride it. I accualy really enjoy it as as much as there are 10x better coasters *cough*steel vengence*cough* but it's a good coaster in my opinion
NIM: Aww I love Sesame Street! When my mum lived in Florida when she was a kid she had a cookie monster cuddly toy and when she had to go home she had to pick between her bear and the cookie monster because she couldn't take them both and her mum decided for her to take the bear and now my mum regrets it..... :(
