thanks for that info about the right thumb. ive watched about 6 other videos, and they all ignore the right hand action. they just do it, like, oh look how simple this is. I can do a classic pass pretty well, but still struggling with a friggin thumb fan. Thanks for the video, it helped.
+Mehmet Tan I don't think so. I've been trying for months, and I haven't improved at all, which is weird because I can learn other flourishes relatively quickly. This, though, is proving to be the most difficult for me, when it should be one of the easier flourishes to learn.
Maybe its becouse of the cards you have, buy a new bicycle or some more popular cards and you will be able to do it, dont buy cards you havent heard of
Great tutorial! I was wondering, can you do a tutorial for the carnahan fan and the LePaul Spread? These are May favorite flourishes and I'm dying to learn how to do them! Thanks and keep up the good work!
I know this is an old video, but I need some help. I just started Cardistry and I'm getting into the basics. With my new deck (Monarchs) they just seem to slippery and every try this trick, They slip sideways more than they fan out. Any tips?
I am new too but it seems if they are too slippery you might want to try to "break" em in a bit. I was told to do 10 - 20 riffle shuffles alternating the face of the cards each time. Shuffle with the cards facing down then shuffle facing up. Then you do 10 or so dribbles alternating the face again, some farro shuffles and fan the cards out a bunch of times. The cards should now be slightly more flexible and have a touch more grip. Set the cards down on the table and the top card should definitely not drift like a new pack of cards would. Remember to wash your hands to prevent clogging the cards up with your hand gunk or they will quickly go from too slippery to the exact opposite. Its harder to get the cards from a "stuck" state to a slick state than vise versa.
How can you make it very slowy ???? As to me to make it , i should make my thumb movement in the circle very rapid and with pressure but when i try to make it slowly i got groups of chunks . And how can i make it much bigger ? Please answer me .... I use a standard bicycle just tell me if there's a another deck much better for making fans .
my cards arent sliding , when i move my right thumb to move the cards they arent sliding but instead im getting big chunks of cards and arent getting a nice 1 by 1 card fan , please help
