We usually do our mixing and master ourselves. Our track on Revealed these 2 have been 100% done by us at home, but for our vocal tracks we prefer to get an engineer and be sure it sounds top notch. Don't be scared to get help for areas you aren't perfectly mastering yet. Every top producers have full team helping them in background

honestly unless your label doesnt master your tracks for you (which most serious labels do), you can have your demo have just a really good mixdown and then sorta do your best to make it sound mastered just to give them an idea of how it'll sound on a big club system. Most labels will master the track for you if they really like it. THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS TO THIS OF COURSE.

I have 2 releases pending on 2 big labels. I’ve sent them all they asked for, all files and info, now just waiting on a response from them on the release date. Any idea why they take so long to get back to you on the release date?
George Figueroa perhaps there are other releases as well... they have a schedule: promotion, artwork, posting on the label social media...putting the artist's songs on every streaming platform / beatport etc... And they will probably plan what they will do after the song is released... maybe a remix contest... idk.. just get an idea :)

Yo Lucas, my friend is super well connected as her uncle owns the biggest club in Amsterdam and offered to send a demo of mine to Don Diablo who she knows personally.
Obviously I’m nervous about a first impression, but one of my house tracks has gotten really great feedback for being unique and quality g house (which Don plays a lot of on his radio show). It’s called drank (available on my channel), do you think it’s good enough to send him?

Pro Tip: If you don't have any major releases on other labels or self referred do not send to big labels like Revealed, Spinnin or Protocol. There are plenty of smaller labels out there to start on. Work your way up before hitting major dance labels.
