I sometimes wonder how many musicians get absolutely sick of playing their own music. I do not wonder this about Ben Bohmer. It looks like he's endlessly analyzing his music and exploring new possibilities every time he performs. He is a craftsman to the highest degree. We should all strive to find something that so completely consumes our attention as music production does with Ben.

Honestly, his music is just too good to be true. I got to see him live a month ago in Zürich, the set was so moving and people were just in tears and hugging it out at the end. Amazing !

OMFG, 59:06 how did I forget just how utterly beautiful this track is? Purple Line and Phases and Decade gotta fill out my top 3 list of his. So complex, so very immense and emotional.
To be honest the order he chooses for the tracks doesn't make sense, it doesnt figure.He jumps from high energy to low energy, puts tracks he should leave for the end at the beginning and vice versa... However they are all so good that it doesn't matter. As a dj he would be a trainwreck. As a producer he is a genius. And he does everything live he doesn't pretend he does a live. So big props to him for not pretending to be a dj and being who he is a great producer.
I disagree..... He takes you on a journey... Instead of some boring same old linear build up, he changes the flow of the vibe up and down throughout almost perfectly in my opinion.
