This man has a World Series ring, 2 MVP awards, won the triple crown, won 7 silver slugger awards, won the batting title 4 times, a x12 All Star, finished his career with 3,174 hits, 511 home runs, 1,881 RBI’s, and a career .306 batting average. This man was a absolute beast at the plate!!! 100% 1st ballot Hall of Famer with out a doubt!!! Period!!!
I watched the last detroit game specifically to see that dude play. I am proud to say I got to grow up watching that man and pujols play. I had a tear in my eye when he got that out on first.
He's not only one of the most consistent and greatest offensive players of all-time, but one of the most humble and just laid back personalities we've ever seen. He definitely makes my Latino all-time team, which him nothing but the best in his retirement.
Loved this one, miggy was one of the players who made me fall in love with baseball as a child, it gives goosebumps seeing he had such a great and carrier and know he is retired! Amazing job @cam23 Greetings from D.R.🥺
He was a special player, and thank you for the kind words! It's also awesome to know that this video can find people all over the map. That's a truly great thing about UA-cam!
Took my son to see his first ever MLB game this year in Detroit when they played the braves. Us being braves fans only fairly recently relocated from the south this was somewhat of a once in a lifetime chance for me to get him to see cabrara play. He had an ABSOLUTE BLAST and was blown away by the size of the stadium. Also, he wanted to be on the jumbotron soooo bad whenever they showed random people in the crowd dancing, however, it just wasn't happenin...until I thought of using miggy careers hits n Homer's signs as a cheat code. They were only a few rows from our seats so starting w miggys 3rd abat he would go get ready by/under the sign whenever miggy was on deck n then once he'd come to the plate they'd in variably show those signs at least once per ab and each time my son would be jumping or dancing his little butt off every time hahaha 😂 even though we ended up a acuna Jr's hr ball AND saw another hr robbed directly in front of us the gettin on the jumbotron was far and away his favorite part of the game. So thank you in directly miggy for making my son's first ever MLB something neither of us will ever forget!!!!
Miggy is way underrated because people overvalue WAR. But at the end of the day I care about hitting, and Miggy is one of the best to ever do it at the plate.
I could be off base but I'm not sure how a surefire Hall of Famer is underrated. I have not heard anyone diminish his legacy because of WAR, after all, it's not far off from Tony Gwynn...
His 2013 season was his peak season. Everyone mentions his triple crown here and for good reason, but his numbers were even better in ‘13. And those include a whole month of September playing though injuries. Take a look at his numbers on August 31st of that season. He was on pace for 50+ homers and 150+ RBIs and a damn .350 BA which is insane
I am a Mets fan but man I always respected tf out of Miggy he was such a monster on the Marlins and then he just exploded on the Tigers he is one of my favorite hitters of all time. When he got traded I felt I could follow him even more because we did not have to face him anymore lol
3:48 I remember watching this live as a 19 year old Yankees fan and thinking…oh shit that’s not good when Miggy just looked at Rocket like “yeah I got yer ass”.
I was so relieved when Marlins traded him.. he was a Brave killer😂 i always tried to get him for my Fantasy baseball team Awesome video Cam! Always very well done🎉
One moment i liked in his final season was later on in the season when the Astros came into town and Justin Verlander happened to be pitching in one of the games and the first time Miggy came up the two had a moment where they saluted one another.
I agree, his final season was unbelievable to watch! It felt like there were special moments like that throughout, despite him not being the prime Miggy we once knew in the box
Miggy was my childhood hero from 2003-2006 and I still loved him after the Marlins sold him to Detroit. I was so happy that he was the one who won the first Triple Crown in 45 years, and following his milestones in the final years was one of the highlights of following baseball this decade. His joy and love of the game seemed undiminished in 2023 from 2003. Pujols is the true best player of that generation of hitters, but Miggy is not that far behind him in second, and I think Cabrera is around a top 50 player all-time.
Thank you! Ichiro is on my short list if everything works out the way I’m envisioning he’ll be out before the new year. Joe Mauer was incredible in his prime, he’ll eventually get one of these vids for sure
very good video how about a doc. on the 1968 tigers great ws against the cards and bob gibson micky lolich won 3 games the game 7 on 2 days rest vs gibson tigers came back from 3 to 1 games to win it gibson strikes out 17 in game 1 over denny mc clain who was the last 30 game winner with a 31-6 season. so some great story lines. i hope you will do the story cause you do a GREAT JOB OF IT AND I THANK YOU.
Y además de ser el único jugador de la historia MLB en dar más de 500 jonrones, 3.000 hits, sobre 300 de promedio (1°) de por vida y, TRIPLE CORONA, no más comentarios. Traduzcan !! Saludos 🙂
I have a hard time deciding who was better between him and Pujols. both of them are going into the penthouse suite of the hall of fame. both are as good as there has ever been
“While playing in AA, things started to click. Miggy went from a .274 batting average to a .365 average…” in just one season. How many MLB players in the show today may never even see a .274 BA, let alone .300… let alone .365??!!? 😱
He was an admirable player until 2016 but after that it was painful watching him with more than mediocre numbers during his last 7 seasons. Basically only 1 productive year out his 8 years contract extension in 2014.
This man has a World Series ring, 2 MVP awards, won the triple crown, won 7 silver slugger awards, won the batting title 4 times, a x12 All Star, finished his career with 3,174 hits, 511 home runs, 1,881 RBI’s, and a career .306 batting average. One of the All Time greats
No steroids too
@@janellemaynait No Roids just a great pure hitter
Ichiro's prime definitely deserves a video.
Agreed! He’s on my list for a video in the near future
A career 4000 + hits.
I watched the last detroit game specifically to see that dude play. I am proud to say I got to grow up watching that man and pujols play. I had a tear in my eye when he got that out on first.

One of the best ever almost won back to back triple crowns ⚾️
That shot of him reaching out and slapping the intentional walk oppo gets me every time
Classic Miggy moment!
Loved this one, miggy was one of the players who made me fall in love with baseball as a child, it gives goosebumps seeing he had such a great and carrier and know he is retired! Amazing job @cam23 Greetings from D.R.🥺

Just a great player hands down. Nobody could ever say anything bad about him.
Yankee fans would
well, there was the domestic abuse....
I am a Mets fan but man I always respected tf out of Miggy he was such a monster on the Marlins and then he just exploded on the Tigers he is one of my favorite hitters of all time. When he got traded I felt I could follow him even more because we did not have to face him anymore lol
Damn I knew miggy was great but those last two slides really showed how elite he was over the years 😳
Me neither until making this video. Miggy was a beast!
As a Venezuelan, so proud of this guy. I was at the stadium when he hit his 500th HR. Impossible not to drop some tears. 🇻🇪
Miggy is an all time great hitter. His homerun numbers were effected by Comerica Park, but he was so good he overcame that. First ballot HoFamer
It truly was a blessing growing up watching him play
Migggyyyy class act and consistent af! Great video!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
One of my favourite baseball players of all time, Miggy was the man.
The Triple Crown (in the 21st century) says it all... absolute legend!
i love these insane prime videos. i play them in the background on my drives to work.
That’s awesome!
Miggy and verlander made me a tigers fan for life
Much respect I’m a tiger fan and he was so special.. wish they won atleast one ws but I’m happy he took detroit there
3:48 I remember watching this live as a 19 year old Yankees fan and thinking…oh shit that’s not good when Miggy just looked at Rocket like “yeah I got yer ass”.
I saw Miggy play way back on that Cougars team. Actually saw a ton of good players come through there during the 90s and early 2000s.
I was so relieved when Marlins traded him.. he was a Brave killer😂 i always tried to get him for my Fantasy baseball team
Awesome video Cam! Always very well done🎉
Haha! “Now he’s the A.L. Central’s problem now” 😂
Thank you Chris I’m glad you enjoyed!
Anyone else notice the 2 teams miggy played for as a kid were called the marlins and the tigers? Kinda a crazy coincidence
Manny Ramirez had an insane offensive prime
Definitely need a Pudge vid soon
One moment i liked in his final season was later on in the season when the Astros came into town and Justin Verlander happened to be pitching in one of the games and the first time Miggy came up the two had a moment where they saluted one another.
I agree, his final season was unbelievable to watch! It felt like there were special moments like that throughout, despite him not being the prime Miggy we once knew in the box
Do George Brett, Gary Carter, Eddie Murray, Albert Pujols, and Adrian Beltre
Miggy was my childhood hero from 2003-2006 and I still loved him after the Marlins sold him to Detroit. I was so happy that he was the one who won the first Triple Crown in 45 years, and following his milestones in the final years was one of the highlights of following baseball this decade. Day 8 of asking for Ted Williams ( I’m asking until it happens)
I back this notion
I would love to see Teddie Ballgame get a video I also think Johnny Bench would be great.
Another banger video!
Thank you!
An insane prime of George Brett would be insane
Do one on Will Clark!!!!
Truly amazing
have you done Pujols yet? talk about Insane prime from 2001-2011 and a great final season in 2022
Another awesome video! I'm excited to see the Ichiro video.
Thoughts on doing Joe Mauer?
Thank you! Ichiro is on my short list if everything works out the way I’m envisioning he’ll be out before the new year. Joe Mauer was incredible in his prime, he’ll eventually get one of these vids for sure
Wow amazing career
Legendary…simply legendary
3:51 I wish he could bat flip back then.
Detroit really takes care of their players
Great player great person! HOF awaits no doubt first ballot HOF player
very good video how about a doc. on the 1968 tigers great ws against the cards and bob gibson micky lolich won 3 games the game 7 on 2 days rest vs gibson tigers came back from 3 to 1 games to win it gibson strikes out 17 in game 1 over denny mc clain who was the last 30 game winner with a 31-6 season. so some great story lines. i hope you will do the story cause you do a GREAT JOB OF IT AND I THANK YOU.

Bueno, dijo que la carrera de Miguel es realmente impresionante.
That 2003 season is his most important. There are a lot of people that forgot he was on the marlins and obviously never won in the motor city.
My 🐐
I second Ted Williams. Dude took 4 years off and was still the best
Now do Ted Williams please! Great video
Only player in MLB History to hit 3k+ hits 500+ HRs, .300 avg and win a Triple Crown.
I have a hard time deciding who was better between him and Pujols. both of them are going into the penthouse suite of the hall of fame. both are as good as there has ever been
What a legend.
Please do carlos Delgado
The main thing the Marlins fans can still have is this, they can say that it was their team that got him a championship.
You need to do one for David Ortiz please!!
You should do Justin Turner, he was ridiculously good for the dodgers in the 2010s
He may legitimately be the best hitter ever
Josh Hamilton had a helluva prime too
“While playing in AA, things started to click. Miggy went from a .274 batting average to a .365 average…” in just one season.
How many MLB players in the show today may never even see a .274 BA, let alone .300… let alone .365??!!? 😱
The Insane Prime of George Brett … winner of batting titles in three decades
Need a video on Fernando Valenzuela 🙏🏼
Nolan Ryan ⚾️
The insane prime of Bob Gibson
You should do a video on Adrian beltre
You gotta do Ichiro Suzuki.
What happened to wil Myers of the rays?
Can you do Mark Buerhle or Rod Carew?
Could you do Jim Thome??
Since you’ve done Miggy I think a good next choice would be Albert Pujols.
💯
Delino DeShields prime vid plzzz!!! 😂
😂 😂
Hideki Matsui needs a vid. Godzilla was great for the Yankees
would love a video on the prime of Mariano Rivera
Do David Ortiz
Manny Ramirez, Frank Thomas, Derek Jeter
I still don't understand why 2013 MVP was even a debate.
If only Miggy Stayed for the 2024 Tigers Playoff run.
Kenny lofton next?
PLEASE do the INSANE prime of WILL CLARK 🙏love your stuff
Dwight Evans could be a good video maybe! Or Carlton Fisk!
Crazy with how good he was he wasn’t even consider the best player at his position.
Pujols please
Starting to wonder if this is a content mill
I’m a one man band! Everything is done by me myself and I. Long hours and lots of work but it’s what I love to do
Can u do Nolan arenaldo
Do Albert Pujols!
Crazy that Pujols hasnt been done yet. May not be a more insane prime.
We've got a lot left to do! Albert will get his very soon
i spy a Marlins legend in here
Idk if you did already but if you didn’t than do Albert Pujols
He was an admirable player until 2016 but after that it was painful watching him with more than mediocre numbers during his last 7 seasons. Basically only 1 productive year out his 8 years contract extension in 2014.
Pretty sure he already did one.
7:20 I get josh had a .avg od 365 but come on Miguel had better hrs and rbis. Mlb dk how to give out mvps wow
Josè Torres
Do Yaz.....
Mike piazza
pujols?
Greg Maddux
Barry bonds Sammy Sosa mark McGwire Jose consenco
6:57 no way Jeter and Joe were higher than Teixeira and Cabrera wow and war is a useless stat
I’m curious: what makes WAR useless? I often hear people say this and I never receive clarity as to why they feel that way.
Bo Jackson
Do Ozzie Smith or Rickey Henderson. Wouldn't Mind Will Clark, Steve Sax or Andre Dawson.
