Miggy is seriously one of the most insane hitter I've ever seen. He has no moving parts in his body, the balls just rocket off his bat. He's not just a HoF, he's generational talent HoF.
He takes the approach of an Altuve where he just wants to make contact and get on base. But he's 6'4 240LBS !! So he could just make contact and drive the ball the other way. One of only 7 hitters ( 5 in my eyes due to Palmeiro/Arod steroids ) with 3000H 500HR. A rare combo of power for avg.
@@marclaporte3710 And he doesn’t strike out. He gross nasty contact hitter that just can’t shift on. Even Bonds you can shift on, him, he just peppers the ball to which side of the field he pleases. Blessed to have seen him in his entire career.
The only player with 3000 hits, 500 hrs and a triple crown. Soon to have 600 doubles. He had fun every minute of it too. He has done this in a decade dominated by pitchers.
Miggy in his prime was like "must see TV" every at bat! The year he won the triple crown was a baseball season like no other for me as a Tiger fan since the last year they won the W.S. in 1984. It sucks now that you have to have Dish network to watch Tigers.
For sure Miggy has that friendly aptitude because he grew up in the wonderful freely Democratic Venezuelan times that I missed it now for the new young prospects… Hall of Fame for you Miggy⚾️
He is going to missed so much by everyone. Hopefully the Tigers keep him around in some sort of way. Like they did with Al Kaline, and I think Alan Trammel is doing g that now. Going to spring training and helping out. One of the best hitters ever
Miguel Cabrera will be a first ballot Hall of Famer. As of Sunday's games, 15 May 2022, and on his 20th year as a player in MLB, he has a career batting average of .310 which includes 3,020 hits, 602 doubles, 505 homeruns, 1,818 runs-batted-in and an OPS of .918. UPDATE: As of games of 28 June 2022. Cabrera has 3,056 hits which places him at #25 on the all-time career list. He should past Biggio and Ichiro this year to become #23 and if he continues at this pace, he could go even higher before the end of the season.
I remember Miggy being up to bat in Anaheim and the Angels reliever kept throwing the same pitch. I stood up and yelled, “Fire in the Hole”, sure enough, Miggy blasted it 20 rows back
So many people love to say he should have quit a year or two ago as the team is saddled with this high dollar contract. The contract is what it is. I would ask how many of us would refuse guaranteed money based on past performance, because we lost a bit of ability at the end of that contract? I do believe such contracts would be better if they were "front loaded" with more of the money coming in the first years and going down towards the end. Regardless, Miggy deserves his money.

Miggy has been so fun to watch over the years crazy it’s been 15 years
Being a Twins fan getting to see Miggy live so many times has been such an honor.
Bassitt’s response is so pure lol “That’s my all time favorite at-bat even though I walked the guy.”

@@Mroctober313 the only with a triple crown is what he’s saying
I remember that home run off Queto. It was a Sunday night game on ESPN and I remember being amazed how far that ball went into the stands
I'm assuming this is in honor of Miggy getting to 3000 hits
(I know he's at 2999 right now, but you get the point)

Why do you need Dish ? If you are in Detroit area there is a regional sports network that should be included in any cable/satellite plan.

Not only he's a HOFer, I hear nothing, but, good things from teammates and opponents.

He’s confirmed he’s staying with the tigers organization after he retires from the team 🥲 He’s said he will never work for another MLB team ever

good stuff, miggy's oppo power is legendary.
Tigers fan here crazy that Giolito is pitching against him his last game of his career😅
I went to a marlins game in Miami years ago and there were people in the stands near me that were telling me stories of his line drive home runs.
I remember when Miggy hit his 100th HR, he came by our neighborhood and everyone was given a jar of pickles. Thanks Miggy!

One of the greatest right handed swings ever. It never looked like he swung hard, but the ball just launched off of his bat
Miggy better get 100% of the votes for first ballot hall of fame.
Miggy a great guy!!
This is great!
empowering others through subtle personal interactions. and what about the old guys, what'd they think of a young Miggy comin up?
McKenzie going to be a stud over his career you can just tell
Wonder what Prince Fielder and Avi Garcia has to say about Miggy
I want to hear Scott Olsen's favorite Miggy story.
🔥🔥🔥👍
Miggyyyy
Miguel Cabrera is going to be the nightmare pitchers miss the most. Such a good hitter, but so much fun.
Chris Rose just least genuine dude
Just a fun person to be around. It seems like. Welcome to the hall brother. You deserve it
