Miguel Cabrera is going to be a first ballot Hall of Famer. As one of only THREE players with 3000 Hits, 500 HRs, and 600 Doubles, he is also, by the numbers, the greatest Venezuelan Baseball player ever. And we almost were robbed of it... But is he the greatest Detroit Tiger ever???
Come join me as I look back at the illustrious Career of Miguel Cabrera! Because he may have put up "Hall of Fame" worthy numbers, but did you know that it all almost came crashing down in 2011???? That's right! And not only did he not let that moment ruin him, it has led to him wanting to be a staple of the Detroit community after his playing days are done as he builds on his already generous ways! We walk through all of it, including his impact on the Venezuelan Baseball community!
Then stick with me as we walk through some other Detroit Tiger Legends... Where are my Ty Cobb fans at??? We also look closer at a couple of other Tiger Greats ...*Cough* Hank Greenberg *Cough*... in order to see where Cabrera stacks up in a team rich with history!
