      @@kevinroberts3456 See, I'm from a different culture and most of what is called "christianity" in US is literally banned by law here as destructive sects and it is for a reason. While there needs to be freedom of religion for adults it should be punishable by law if you get children into this. It's wrong on so many levels. And since it's legal and normal in US nobody gets help and treatment they need because they just don't see themselves as cult survivors that they basically are. Scary thing, cause the count is millions, I guess. Keep strong, Kevin. Can't imagine how it feels when you're conditioned from the early years. I've experienced such ralleys first hand over here in the 90s, when some pastors tried to come over to preach to new nations. Didn't took off. I was 6, but raised by atheist parents in an orthodox (which is liberal and non-threatening - no Apocalipshit, thank you very much) environment. And despite the age I could see pastors' manipulative, brainwashing, threatening and just cray-cray ways. Luckily my parents saw it too, so they lol'd and left. But some people we knew stayed and just ended up severely mindfucked. Putting it mildly. But they were adults and had every right to fuck up their lives. Kids should be kept out of it or on free medical support for the rest of their lives, if the government couldn't shelter them from such abuse.

    Although I'm not bdsm in my sexuality in my past experiences in pornography bdsm did teach me one thing. Sexuality and compassion aren't the same thing. If one pushes compassion on others it tends to eventually develope into unnatural things from what women have told me of their traumatic experiences like rape and pedophilia. A move about a priest with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Meryl Streep made that point well. Hoffman's character was a priest who committed crimes against a child. He was defending himself against Meryl Streep's character and said "I care about the boy" and she said why do you say that? You think you care about him because you smile at him.
    An interesting line. Attention and compassion aren't the same thing. But there is something about make sexuality that tends to turn sexual in what a man cares about actively. That's why God is important. God is a logical benevolent precision mindset that let's other people be themselves and provides grace, and not active ownership of anyone. Precise benevolence without feeling necessarily.
    Compassion can be the same thing. I guard against sexual imposition by just allowing sincerity between adults allow for compassion. One really can't have compassion for children. One can have benevolence for children. Because the least amount of interaction between adults and children and less insistence on how "caring" adults "should be" towards kids would harm less kids. Kids don't need caring. Kids need structure that's safe with God's grace so that kids can be themselves with other kids. Adults need their own childlike world with other adults with a similar sense of structure and safety.
    What I'm suggesting is that no one is essentially a "good" person, and no one is essentially a "rapist" or "pedophile." It's a behavior that begins by misunderstanding basic psychological manifestations of basic misunderstandings of the nature of benevolence and compassion that had sometimes been deliberately twisted by fear and the desire to be responsible and accepted by community standards.
    In some ways the work of God can be seen there, so that people don't idolize community or themselves at the expense of the grace of God. It shows that without faith in God one would always chase being "good" into the pit of hell. What Marilyn Manson shows by example is that pleasing God isn't enough either. That just being pushed around and guided by God without discernment has evil consequences too.
    A person needs character.
    And by the way the narrative about what led to the sense of lovelessness and lack of family or community by the author is a logical fallacy. The idea that "industrialization" and "culture" was to blame is wrong. The lack of respecting the power of ones individuality is also not to blame either. Both are predicated on the delusion that humans fucked up somehow and that we need to get back on track. Getting on the right path is a rare opportunity that we have right now, as individuals, but that wasn't an option we always had. Nature was a tyrant and pushed humanity around according to her whims and nature and earth created industrialization for her own agenda. That goes against the grain of the narrative of nature as victim and humanity as tyrants but the truth is the opposite. Nature had been the tyrant and humanity had been the victims of nature. Nature can look oh so beautiful and benign to a nature worshiper, but that's the bubble. Nature wants to survive and wants humanity to survive too, and that has sometimes demanded responsibility from human beings that is somewhat unnatural to normal human nature. And no one is at fault for it. The twists and turns of nature does it's thing without regard to whether humans like it or not. We can navigate it, but we can't control it. People liked to think that nature would be easy if only it wasn't for this or that spiritual tyrant. But this or that "spiritual tyrant" knows that nature is the true inescapable tyrant..

      Thats one solution. The other is just common sense and not just picking random lovers but only lovers that are of responsible age and that one can safely bond emotionally with.
      But yeah, if one were just indiscriminately crazy you probably should be celibate. It takes discernment and ethics to have safe sex. In other words, common sense.

      If I had to answer for myself its because you seemed to imply giving up your eyes for the sake of being guided by another. No one can be you. Thats a solitary gnostic truth too.
      Like Jesus said. If a blind guide leads a blind guide both will fall into a pit.

    • @bobnevels9125
      @bobnevels9125 2 роки тому

      But it's interesting that you ask. I was meditating on what it means to be reconciled with the love of my life and how in some ways my body is a temple for her and myself. And yet we are entirely different people who have to be responsible for our own lives. Its independence and fusion that is love but just dissociative so that it isnt possession its loving energy that seals and protects hard won wisdom so that the neediness of the world is shielded from me while i can still be myself.
      The difference is that codependency would have crushed my independent wisdom and the soul love energy of the other person would have done all my thinking for me. But that's not what happened. Its like our wisdom and soul is so identical that it feels like her soul is like a warm blanket that I get to wear in the world while I'm still able to safely and comfortably be myself.
