    From what I have found out about people who are wealthy, they have realistic expectations, they live below their means, they take on bigger risks, they don't get comfortable, start their own businesses, and pursue passions. Don't do something because it is a safe career and it will impress your family, etc. You won't work as hard or make as much money. You really need to find your passion and not worry what other people will think about you.

    • @mysterioanonymous3206
      @mysterioanonymous3206 2 роки тому +30

      thats called survivorship bias. for every derrick lewis there are 1000 guys who get kicked in the head in their 2nd fight and end up toiling away on the construction site. people only look at small samples that aren't representative. the reason people are so much into those stories is exactly BECAUSE they are so rare. if they were mundane they wouldn't be interesting, right?
      i agree with you until you say "pursue passions". On average, that means most of us, a doctor or lawyer will absolutely make more money than you/me and eventually end up rich, passion or not. safe, yes, boring, yes, sexy, no, but it works which is why many people do that quite successfully, much more so than most "entrepreneurs".
      me personally, the richest people i know.... inherited their money. the others are lawyers and doctors. so not super crazy but pretty damn well off.
      i think every high schooler should look at salary statistics, within different industries, companies and roles. i think on average, people would end up doing a lot better and be happier eventually. if i could do it all over, i would be A LOT more intentional on the EXACT route i would take, and work towards that i'd be 10 years ahead of myself. at least. sad fact: most people don't "make it". the average salary in f.e. the US is something like 50k or whatever, so that's what most people can, realistically, expect. that's it. numbers never lie.

      @@mysterioanonymous3206 You are right in that the wealthiest people I know are lawyers, accountants, doctors, etc. But, they were afraid of failing so they pursued something secured. Nothing wrong with that. I guess some people are more adventurous and willing to do something else. You also don't need to be a lawyer, doctor, accountant, etc to be wealthy. You can pursue other avenues.

    • @wadeharris348

    • @mysterioanonymous3206
      @mysterioanonymous3206 2 роки тому +1

      @@wadeharris348 i can fully agree with that. i guess i was trying to say that most people might be better off, speaking purely about money, to go into a well paid career. period. but yeah, it's not for everyone. personally, i had no money at some point and have a little now and i can absolutely attest that having money is fantastic. so much less stress, anxiety, all that. not having "enough" money makes you miserable, no doubt.
      having said that, this is pretty well researched and the effects level off massively at some point, in 2022 probably at around 110k/pa or so and somewhat more in SF or NYC or whatnot, but if you don't have a fantastic life on that sort of money you're just incompetent in which case, that's on you. I'd say 100k is all you need. you may want more, but you don't need more. i personally feel beyond that, it won't do all that much for you materially. just my 2 cents.
      best of luck to you.

    THIS is a good thing to see. Too much of this "all you gotta do is...", "here's the secret to...", and "bruh, get your bag..."
    Nope. Instead:

    Excellent. Most important skill you can learn is "Active Listening" which is really communication. You can not effectively communicate until you really hear what the other person is saying. If you are talking and your customer / prospect starts to talk...instantly stop talking and start actively listening. Every word that is spoken by your customer / prospect provides insight and data you can use to build your presentation.

    Love these vids. I think teens can learn more from some of these videos then they learn in school. Part of the reason the younger generation is horrible is that they never get taught finance. I know this is not telling you how to get rich but it can inspire people.

    Hey uncle noah, i am a regular visitor to your channel and a great admirer of what you do. Can you give your insights on how to scale a business. Realistic roi per year in any business, like in these video you talked to an oncologist, a ufc guy, a youtuber, a sales guy, and many great people. Particularly on how to manage other people's money. Thanks, you are awesome.
