First day impressions:It arrived in a waist high box. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 Each dumbbell was in its own foam box within the shipping box. Everything was secure and in good shape. No weird smells. The weight changing mechanism is really smooth and straight forward. Changing weight is really fast and easy. Though the handle is plastic, I don't think it will be breaking anytime soon. So far pretty impressed after my first session with them. I was afraid they were going to be too wide at first, but I didn't have any issues with them while doing upright rows.
First of all, lift what you can while keeping good form. As you get stronger, you will be able to lift heavier weights. Second, look at your eating habits and prefer a plant-based diet with NO junk foods, sodas etc..... Last, include cardio workouts like running, cycling or if you can't, start by walking. You MUST be regular.
@@dakotalake9084 We're omnivores. A well balanced, healthy, natural diet includes animal produce. Chicken, fish, eggs etc. Rich of so many amazing nutrients and proteins. It's even more important for menopausal women to eat lots of meat. People should only go plant based if they have allergies and other complications that prevent them from adding it into their diet. Going plant based will also just make it harder to get all the necessities without supplements, which is only discouraging for people just starting to get into health.
@@Littlemissdidi Millions of people worldwide do not eat animals. It has been 40 years for me and my doctors find me much healthier than people who eat meat. Studies show that a plant-based diet will add years to your life. Plus my conscience is at peace because I don't contribute to horrific suffering for my pleasure. I hope you evolve, that is my wish for you.
The last exercise was the hardest for me. Proud of myself for pushing myself to complete both rounds!

I am 190 I always been 145 my whole life at one point lower than that I've gained over 50 lbs in the last 4 years and now that I am engaged I am wanting more to be healthy again. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx5VQ5nUzHu6i0O5_u7ipyLnCz0lbsSvr0 I am not fat but I am thick and have muscle. I am very close to how you were but a lil smaller but I am so sick people making comments to me like I'm huge or like you said having shorts that used to be so cute on me and now I can't even find a pair to fit me. I used to love shopping now I don't even want to go to the store and if I do I pick the biggest size don't even try it on and deal with it. I went from size 5 to size idk because I don't even want to know the real number. I hate looking at pics of myself now or me before. thank you for your video it's time to make a change.
If you want to lose weight, it is a matter of exercise and eating habits. More calories burnt than eaten.... I don't eat animal products except my neighbor's chickens' eggs. My health is excellent, my conscience is at peace now that I no longer contribute to animal suffering and my weight is right on.
70 year old getting back into shape after the pandemic. This is a great 15-minute no-nonsense workout. Really appreciate you making this available.

This is hilarious 😂😂😂😂
STOP HAHAHA
Love that u don’t rush through them like others I’ve seen, focused more on correct form and muscle building! Love ur workouts
Agree with you Jennifer!
That is my favorite thing about her. Quality over quantity and it makes me really concentrate on form.
Yess!
I have done this workout everyday for 2 weeks now. My arm is tone, less fat (from running I guess) and definitely I can see muscle. My weight is 51 kg, and I use 5kg dumbbell. I will continue this for a month.
Just for more information, I have terrible humpback condition, very broad shoulders because of weak back-muscle . My doctor suggested that I have to build my back and upper body muscle. That’s why I do this every single day
@@annykoon update after a year? Did these workouts work for you?
Everyday? I would rotate with some of the others so your muscles get a bit of recovery. There are some good exercises for a dowager's hump. I would think bird dogs, supermans, swimmers, CARS on an incline, chin tucks, would be very helpful. All helpful.
@@annykoon update?
Okay an update;
I reduce it down to 2 times a week because of my work schedule.
I am using 5 and 1 kilos dump-bell. (Depends on my moods ,sometime I’m lazy to workout but I try the minimum effort 😂 )
My back is getting better in term of losing some fat and in better shape.
My arm is firmer but ,because of muscle, I think they are a bit bigger.
My overall posture is in better form. There is less humpback and less sticking-out neck.
I think I gonna try gym machines next month to see more results.
However, I have been eating takeout and bad food lately so I gained weight
not me checking for results after each workout
Your not aloneee

Thanks! This is very helpful!
I’ve been doing this workout for 3 months, three days a week. Let me tell you…I feel and look stronger. It’s a great workout. ❤️🔥
This is so nice to hear! Just started my first one today. Excited to stay consistent & see the results!
@@_prpldrm_ what are the results ❤
I am a 11 year old with a goal to be stronger than all the people that have told me otherwise. So thankful that such a easy workout like this is available for everyone. Brilliant thank you x
Keep your spirit strong
Great plan. Eat healthy also, preferably mostly a plant-based diet.
I liked it too. I use this workout as the basis for a new video on my channel, where I collect the best workouts into playlists by week and visualize them in my videos.
@@dakotalake9084 if your focus is muscle building then meat is good because it likely contains the majority of protein from your diet and that is a necessity for building muscle. Not saying vegans or vegetarians can’t build muscle, but saying that to build muscle you should cut out meat is just not true
@@laurelkendun nowadays there are other sources of protein besides eating animals if you have a conscience.
You are the most pleasant workout channel I have come across. Everything about your videos are easy to follow, easy to navigate what kind of workout you're looking for, and just overall very pleasant and patient and lovely to watch. Unlike most workout videos where they go too fast and constantly scream "keep going, push through!" Thank you for creating great content.
Agree! She also makes us feel that she's with us the whole workout!
Couldn't agree more!! I love her videos because I appreciate her calm encouragement, and none of the screaming 😂
Yeees! Also, he climate in the comment section is very pleasant. Everyone seems so nice 😊
absolutely agree. I want to do all her program as she is so calm and gentle. You can work hard without having to scream and yell like a maniac!
Totally agree!!
I have always been lazy and given up exercising about three days into a workout plan, but you are amazing!! I have worked out 4 days per week thanks to your workout videos and not once have I given up or cried, and that's because you are so motivating. You don't push us to the point where I feel rubbish about myself, you don't blare fast-paced music, nor do you make us do tough exercises fast. I can not thank you enough, you have changed my life!
P.S. Everyone doing these workouts, keep going. You are strong, hardworking and you have got this!!
Just finished 15 months of cancer treatment and I am starting to ease back into exercise. I just did a 10 minute low-impact cardio (to the Bee Gees . . . yea!) and then added this on for weights. Yea, me. I love this video because it is slower and has a 30-second rest in between unlike most videos that moves too fast. I am going to do a month of this combo (thru) January and then February I will mix it up. I also walked 1/2 hour outside today so a well-rounded workout. It looks like MadFit will keep me in videos for years to come.
well done! :)
More power to you ❤
As someone (years late to this video) who is a beginner in workouts, i really appreciated the focus more on form and control rather than strength and getting it over with. I struggled to do the last movement so i replaced it with something difficult that i can do! Thanks for this video.
Can you start including where you get your outfits from they are some of the cutest workout attire I’ve ever seen!

How many days a week do you do it?
May I know for one week how many times will you do, Thank you
I'm a gymnast, and up until recently our gym was shut down. For three months I followed your workouts, and I'm stronger than ever! I've done this one probably 5x in this past month! Thank you for devoting so much of your time to keeping everyone inspired and determined, and for being MADFIT!
Does anyone else love it when your arms go jelly at the end hahah I feel so satisfied feeling like a jelly fish!!
"I'm going to use 10s and 15s" her
"Imma stick with these fives for now." me
At 28 and this was my first official work out and I feel good! My arms are shaking but glad I found your videos! Thank you!
Absolutely obsessed w this routine. Idk why this set of movements is so satisfying to complete. I keep coming back to this video!!
Haha, same! I probably gave her half of the views.
I've been doing this for roughly 2 weeks (I think) and my arms feel more toned and I can see faint muscles 💪 coming :D My arms feel more stronger than before (I am quite weak in my upper body) I'm going to continue doing this - and maybe level up to heavier weights 🏋️♀️ when I feel I can - to see the end results! :D Thanks for this workout Maddie! 💕
Good job !
what weight did u use?
How often did you do the workout?
How often did u do the work out??
I did it everyday but then I realised I was over-doing my arms so now I tend to workout my arms 1 day then take a 2-3 days break before doing it again.
(I'm not sure how heavy my dumbells are but when I do find out I'll comment it down.)
her: remember to breath
me: OH SH*T BREATHING
Did this workout , & I had results the day after . I most definitely got stronger . I love this workout & I recommend this to anybody who is trying to build muscle 💪🏽.
Just came across your channel for the first time while looking for a weighted arm workout. Thank you for not being the typical overly peppy trainer that yells at me a million miles an hour for 15 minutes. You're so chill - I'll be back!
I’m 55 years old and enjoy your workouts so very much!!! Toning and age appropriate for me!!!
I'm really happy I found you, you're reps are smooth, calculated and very effective. You make sure to get the most out of each move. and I love that if I just have a few minutes you have something to fit my schedule...thank you so much
First time working in for 2024! Bought the weights and mat. Here I am. Thank you! 🎉
Good job. The first one is always hardest
"hold and squeeze for a hot second" love that! You inspire me to work out more! Love your videos! ❤️❤️❤️
Would love more short 10-15 min dumbbell upper body workouts like this! Thank you for these great video workouts!

This is the best workout channel I've come across recently, and it's getting me through lockdown. Thank you for moving at a reasonable pace and giving clear instructions.
So simple. Yet it's easier to motivate myself to do it when I have someone telling me what to do. Thanks Maddy!
The last exercise was definitely the hardest, but I appreciate i felt like the reps and timing were just the right amount to feel like I got a good workout but didn't have to spend an hour. Thank you Mad Fit!
i dont wanna name shame anyone but shes one of the few who is more focused on form rather than completing a designated number of reps in a limited period of time, i love it
I love how calm and deliberate your workouts are, thank you!
I am completely fine until the last exercise and then my arms feel like they’re about to fall off
Wait same haha
ME TOO
same here!
saame it looked easier than the others but was more difficult xD
it definitely helps to have lighter weights to switch to for that one, i was using 10lbs for everything else and had to switch to 5lbs for the last move lol
Day Number 1 of this exercise
Process: I feel a little tired, and I did feel a sweat on my cheek. I see no difference, but you know what they say. Rome wasn't built in a day. Subscribing :)
update?
Day 1 of my exercise. My arms are killing me. Especially on the last round. Hope in the next few days I'll be able to catch up with her. Wish me luck! 💯🤞
I've been doin it once a week for 4 - 5 months since I dont have much opportunities. BUT let me tell you IT IS ABSOLUTELY WORKING. It has helped me grow my boobs and chest, back and shoulders and my arms arent shaky while doing yoga anymore. Thank you Maddie!
Great! You can't find 15 minutes to spare more than once a week? It would be wonderful to do it 3 times/week
Boobs…? I don’t think that’s because of the workout. If anything, working out your chest (after a long time) can make them appear smaller
Love the dumbell workouts. Love to see alot more of them as well as the resistance bands workout please 😁.
This is perfect since all the gyms are closed! Thank you!
using a set of 4lbs dumbbell, this workout is really easy to follow. i love how the emphasis is on quality rather than quantity having a longer interval also helps in making me relax before going to the next set. definitely will be doing this on a regular basis. hopefully i can then slowly increase the weights too :)
i love this workout. was looking for a quick upper body workout before i went to bed. thanks!
Doing a weight workout before bed is not recommended. It gets your heart rate up when you should do the opposite.... dim the lights, put some soft music on, meditate.....
@@dakotalake9084 Exactly. It is better to doing this in the morning or around of the afternoon, never the evening.

My first time ever using weights they look scary but I love to see my husband use them so I finally look how to use them & loved it started with 5 lbs can't wait to be able to move up
Dear Maddie, I've been doing this exercise for a month & I think it works because my under bra bulge is gone and my arms feel firmer. In the first week my arms, chests & shoulders are so sore because the last exercise is killing me! And for the rest of the weeks I manage to gradually not take a break & try to really "hold for a second" to feel the burn 😣. Fyi, I regularly do a 45 minutes cardio on stationary bike, and this is the only upper body/arms exercise I do. So, Thank you & I'm gonna start your 10 minutes toned arms tomorrow 💪
My friend and I started weight workouts as a form of stress relief due to the pandemic. We used to do "The Firm" many years ago. Yep... I'm in my 60's and she in late 50's. We're rocking it with you every day now! We can't get down on the floor so we substitute with another weight routine. Thank you for sharing your routines! You're awesome! Be healthy and safe!
Love your workouts! I've used all your 10-15 minute (upper body, lower body and Abs) workouts and have really enjoyed them. I started working out after a long hiatus. At 60 years of age I'm able to keep up and I've found your workouts to be a great start. I can easily fit a 10 or 15 minute workout into my schedule. Thanks so much for your videos!!
Thank you so much Maddie! I've been following this work out routine for almost two months now and my body has improved a lot. Please continue creating routines like this (simple and easy to follow yet effective) ❤️💪
Loved this format; 1 min on, 30 sec. off. Please do more of that. Also, your helpful tips during the exercise are appreciated because we can't always see our screen while doing the exercise. Great job, keep it up, Please!
