All the other presenters are top notch. After years away from canning I took an on line course offered by Carolyn. I still refer back to it. Melissa is one of my go-to’s for food preservation and gardening. I enjoy her podcasts. My goal would be to leave the conference with a plan to grow more food and gain some practical knowledge to use herbs and their products to improve my health, & better manage my conditions. I would love to learn to build some infrastructure for backyard chickens and rabbits for meat, in order to be more self reliant. I would love to develop some like minded community relationships in my area. I have family I would also travel to visit in the PNW. I would want my Washington State daughter to attend with me. I would love tickets! My 19- year old son and I have been talking about what to do together this summer. We are a family of 10 and my husband is very handicapped. We are trying to maintain balance in our lives and this would be a great way for my son and I to grow together.
I take doterra essential and I would love to learn about natural healing and how to possibly grow some of the herbs and the natural things for our body and health. I have never heard of this event and already want to look into the programs and speakers.

What a gift!!! You're a very good woman! I've lived off grid in Trapper Creek Alaska for over 20 years now and I love living off mother Earth rather depend upon any other way. I'd love to attend but my income would not allow to be able to do so. God bless your heart darling woman!!✌🏻❤🤠
We lived in AK for 11 years when I was a child- my folks were gold miners and we've been from the Arctic Circle to Cape Yakataga and many places in between. Such an awesome place to homestead ❤️
@@EggFeathersHomestead I raised goats for 15 years and donated their milk to the hospital in Palmer for the premature babies. My momma goats name is Lassie. She thought she was one of the dogs we had. She saved so many of their lives. I had to retire her last year and sent her and her 2 girls to North Pole. She's now being spoiled living in a heated barn and around children as she always loved. All the years her and I had been best friends I made sure she was warm in our fridged temperature here, and being without electricity that was a task. I would heat up big rocks on my woodstove to bring out to their little barn and put the rocks in a circle around them and covered the rocks and them with furniture pads. They stayed under those pads all night. And sometimes all day if the weather called for it. Some nights which can be half the day too I'd replace their hot rocks three to five times in a 24 hour day. I truly miss my Lassie goat. She'd had 3 sets of twin girls in 15 years. Please excuse my punctuation. I'm not very good at it. ✌🏻❤🤠
Bless your heart. I have been trying to be more efficient in my homesteading. In large part due to my self-aging and having limitations now. I would love to go to this conference and be able to see if anyone there has been working to modify homesteading for the aging community.

For me, its honestly just being with 'like minded people'. Its so hard in this world to find people around us that 'get it' and can 'see the importance of this way of life'. My daughter & I have prepped as much as we can on our own as my husband is not on board. We have our preps hidden in every nook & cranny we can come up with. I think we've done pretty good (even bought protection & many hrs of lessons & practice;) but there is always room for improvement.
