great video, I was searching for a 2 part heater testing... but looking at the service tech sheet, it actually said that the ohms between terminals 2 and 3 (the last reading you did) was 1/2 !! or 9-11ohms, which was the opposite of my experience and the opposite of what you have shown as well, and it would make sense that since we're testing between BOTH coils, the resistance would double there not half... so I'm perplexed as to why this dryer I'm working on would be slow to heat, much slower than normal. My readings for terminals 1 and 2 were 21ohm and 1 and 3 also 21ohm and my reading for 1 and 3 was 44ohms. So, IDK and can't explain why in the world the tech sheet would say the ohms on 1-3 should be 1/2 or 9-11ohms... any ideas? This is on an LG dryer from 2009
Hi, I have a lg dle1001w electric. I have replaced the heat element and my dryer still will not heat, do you have something else I can try? I have cut the breaker unplugged and still no heat, as well as cleaned out the dryer while disassembled.
This is the most professional video I watched on the subject, and the only one that showed how to test the element. You are the best! Thank you kindly
Gear Video. You were clear and had excellent editing. Thank you!
Great video and thank you for taking the time to show us how to repair the drier.

Why does everyone show an electric dryer and not a gas unit? Good video
I was finding a bunch of gas unit videos and finally found instructions on an electric unit.
