So, I've been dying to make hotteok for a long time, and today I finally did! First off, they were delicious! Thank you so much for this recipe!
Just a couple notes, 1) I used all-purpose flour, as I don't have bread flour(what is the difference, anyway), and it worked fine.
    2) for a few of my hotteok, I used two pieces of pepperoni and about 1 Tblsp. of mozzarella cheese, and it made an absolutely delicious savory filling.
    3) a single batch of the dough made 12 hotteok for me, though mine were kinda large.
These are also pretty filling. I made them for lunch and was only able to eat 2 before I was full. Most definitely will be making hotteok again soon!

There's a place here in Auckland, New Zealand, called "No 1 Pancake" that has been popular for years and years, well before Korean food was widely popular here :) the people are lovely and I used to get the sweet Hotteok as a treat when I was at University, or the savoury ones were a great cheap lunch for students on a budget :) They are still going strong and more popular than ever.

Just made these! It was so easy to make them! I really loved the taste of the brown sugar and cinnamon with chopped walnuts. I roasted the walnuts before I added it to the mixture. My entire family loved it.

Sk, you are so cute and your husband at the end of the video imitating you always cracks me up! Question about hoddeok: your recipe calls for adding milk to the dough, but Maangchi's and other recipes only use water. Which is the authentic Korean way and how different will it taste? Thanks!

I failed the nutella ones though... they broke. Thank you for the recipe, it's difficult to have access to korean cooking in France, so i decided to do it myself 😋.
