your title says 'how to slice stuff in Blender 3D." You wasted over 6 minutes showing how to animate slicing. you did not slice the object at all. This is a waste of time.

Low poly doesn't always mean easier. Start following what you like more, there's so much to learn, don't be afraid to do it wrong :)
