There's a place here called Jason's Deli. They make a Bigger Better BLT. Take a regular BLT. Add more bacon. Then add avocado slices. Then add a fried egg. The whole thing just works. It's quite remarkable. It tastes a bit better with a runny egg so you get the yolk everywhere but then you have to manage the mess as you eat it. Not worth it. I just get the egg fully cooked. Also they have free ice cream there so I eat a cone while I'm waiting and eat another after I eat the sandwich. Yes! I can't even count the times I've eaten an avocado burger. 😂 I live in California too obviously. When I was a teenager I cured my restaurant indecisiveness by just ordering whatever I found on the menu that had avocado on it. Problem solved! Haha

There used to be a cafe near to where I live called the secret garden and they made the best burgers that I have had. They used to change the menu weekly and press the steak burgers fresh to order with different fries to. They were divine, I went there a day or two before they sadly closed and the chef doubled up the burger for me because she knew me and how much I loved their food. I do like a good burger.
One burger place around me use to make a burger that was just spectacular. 2 8oz patties, 2 slices of aged cheddar on each patty, sweet potato fries ON the burger, bacon, and smokehouse mayo on a brioche bun. It was so messy to eat but it was so damn good. They have since discontinued it which makes me sad, but I'll always have my memories. 🤤🤤
Not a burger story but a discontinued sandwich. I used to go to this place that had a sandwich they called Three Little Pigs. It was bacon, pulled pork and smoked ham topped with a vinegary cole slaw. Damn, that thing was good.

This is probably the most food accurate one to date. Any one of those, or something similar could be on a menu at even a mid tier burger place in most of the US. The avocado one would be in nearly every burger place in California.
I understand the occasional need for "nasty" things to try, to provide context, contrast, and to avoid complacency, but I really do like the videos better when the TRY folks are enjoying themselves.
Gourmet burgers are nice but give me a great tasting "regular" burger without all the toppings. Still, watching this was hilariously funny, especially at the 1:31 mark where Callyann starts snorting! 🤣 I'd love to go out to eat with her anytime. I also found it funny that Graeme said (9:15) about the Mighty burger that it was too big and hard to eat and they should only have one patty and call it the "Weenie" 😅 or the "Half Mighty"....this, after pretty much eating all the burgers that he was given. Paddy is totally right bacon on anything makes it better. In many parts of the U.S. bacon is considered it's own food group I do have a legit question is it common in Ireland to completely roach your burgers. Everyone looks like a hockey puck void of any color. Can you order Medium rare or medium?

For me, this is a rule that needs to be broken on the grounds that it makes no sense with the other rules.
They should try a Greek Burger. Burger is grilled, then placed in a shallow pan, with red onions and water. The pan is placed over the warm end of the grill and allowed to marinate for at least two hours, before serving. The burgers are placed on buns, then covered with a generous amount of the shredded red onions. SO juicy and mouth-watering.
Irish Pub around here has the habanero burger. Over easy egg, siracha bacon. Avocado, red onion, feta and habanero sauce. It is spicy and crazy only had it twice.
Bacon avocado burgers are great because of the way that the flavors and "mouthfeels" interact, but to make it even better it needs an egg. Because eggs and bacon go together well, and avacado and eggs go together well, but all three...incredible. Sometimes you can mix 3 things together that work in separate pairs but when all 3 are combined it fails...bacon, egg, and avocado succeeds, and it doesn't matter if they're on a burger, in a salad, or just those 3 on a plate...they work.
I feel like the video called american burgers that had Callyann and Ciara in it was more gourmet :P 3 out of 4 were super basic, only one slightly out of the ordinary was the Rocket Man because of the habanero jam thing. Whichever restaurant is selling these as gourmet thinks too highly of themselves xD

For those saying the meat looks dry and overdone, this is the Try channel. If it was dry, they would have let us know. As to overcooked, ground beef should usually be fully cooked for food safety, whereas properly managed steak can be quite pink to red in the middle and still generally not make most people sick. This is what I was taught for my food handler's license. Considering these burgers were probably delivered or picked up, and then had to sit awhile before serving, I think they made the right call.

I made a burger with candied bacon, goat cheese, grilled onions, and blueberry ghost pepper sauce on a lightly toasted pretzel roll. Possibly the best burger I’ve ever had.
I’ve had an Australian burger. It was the size of a plate. It had a freshly baked bun, coleslaw spring pickles, ham & cheese, beef patty, Julian carrots, Cheese and a fried egg. I had to eat it with a knife and fork, no way around that. Thanks for sharing. The Australians has a fancy name for it.

Loved this episode! It would have been interesting to see the cast try to maneuver ("manoeuvre" to some) the full size, whole burgers into their faces. I think it can be comical watching different people trying to eat a burger that exceeds the width of their mouths. 🍔 👍 😆
