Quick tips, only build/upgrade major workers till it starts to become night on the first day. Dont put minor workers on the collection group they barely collect ant (between 5-10) get and level up major workers they get 45 when max. Have near the ration 1 : 2 on major workers : minor workers too. Put all soldiers on a separate group and only use them for fighting and not food gathering for the same reason as the minor workers.
Ive played this game for about 6 years (around beta) because of thegamingbeaver and it is easily one of my favourite games with 256 hours of playtime it is just amazing to play and watch

This game is so much fun for the way it looks. It comes highly recommended.
