- Narrator: Tucked away in a dark corner of the world, this wolf spider hungers. Its appetite is insatiable and there lies a feast of creatures nearby. It will liquidize the flesh and suck the juice of its many victims.
This level is a very unique one, instead of controlling an ant colony, we are controlling a Beach Wolf Spider. It's very hungry and will do anything in pursuit of meat. The Hungry spider has a few abilities, bite, which deals physical damage and is the wolf spider standard attack. There are 2 venom attacks, venom pool and crippling venom. Venom pool leaves a small pool of acid on ground and when enemies walk over it, they take damage. Crippling venom can be shot from long distances and deals low damage and slows down the enemy, it also makes the enemies affected take more venom damage. The last ability is devour, which allows the spider to eat corpses and heal health. Our objectives in this level:
- Kill the 4 queens
- Kill uber hermit crab
- Kill uber devils coach horse beetle
- Kill uber tiger beetle
- Kill uber wolf spider
Tips:
- Go for a venom build, it's the safest way to deal with the ubers and especially the uber wolf spider. Try to have level 12 or higher for both venom pool and crippling venom. You can slow down the enemies can make them walk over your venom pool longer.
- Don't put too many upgrades into bite, your main focus is the venom damage abilities. Put a few upgrades into bite to deal damage to the ants and smaller enemies.
- Get devour to a high level, it'll help keep you alive in tight situations and allow you to recover.
- Keep your distance from the wolf spiders. They deal a ton of damage and you'll be killed quickly and lose if you're not careful.
- Kill more enemies to get exp, you get to upgrade more with the higher level you are.

Incredible! An old classic nightmare of a challenge conquered! And in 20 minutes, no less. Truly incredible. I definitely need this for when I attempt the hungry spider myself.

How the hell did you do it under 45 mins? Thats the fastest i can complete it.
I just brute force the enemies and get many enemies grouped up to kill as many as possible with a single venom pool and crippling venom.
If you ignore some of enemies, and all of the ants, it can be beaten in under 30 mins.
