- Well, Ford said it isn't possible yet but we have successfully installed 2020 Ford F-150 tow mirrors onto a 2021 Ford F-150.

I have the same truck as you. I bought the 21-22 OEM F150 tow mirrors without the camera from fairway ford off of eBay and everything works including the blinkers the puddle lights. it all snapped right in I didn’t have to modify anything. I did however watch your video for instructions On how to remove my old mirrors and put the new ones in which was very helpful. Thanks a bunch!

Thanks for sharing. I just ordered mine from fairway ford directly on their website. It was cheaper even though I had to pay for shipping. I also saved since I didn’t pay taxes, and eBay collects taxes.
David Gardner, do your blinkers light work fully or is it just two dots that illuminate when signaling your blinker?

Just installed my 2018 take off tow mirrors onto my new 2021 stx. I also had to knock the set pins off as well as trim the mirror. I also had to drill the bolt holes out bigger that are closest to the edge of the door. Please give an update if you figure out making the mirror signals work, thanks!

Same here I got it on zero cuts zero problems but marker lights don’t work because my factory ones didn’t have them before
Is the 2021 Air Temp sensor not on the Passenger Mirror anymore? I'm looking to get the manual everything mirrors JL3Z-17696-AA (to use only when towing and put factory back on when not) and it has an 8pin plug as opposed to the 22 pin on my 2021 XL/STX. Those manual everything mirrors only have temp sensor wiring for the passenger.
FYI they now have parts available for the '21s, and several models with BLIS/360 and power/manual (though the priciest one is $1700...oof).
I found a set for the 2021 but has to be programmed at the dealer 😕

What year f150 did these mirrors come from ?
I want to do this but as soon as I do, Ford will probably release the 2021 part. I’m torn about making that curved cut. Trying to think of how I could make a little jig / template.
You can start by tracing the existing curvature of the mirror and then transfer the template to the new piece.

@@CaliMotoTV install went okayish... Not sure how yours were made, but the rivnuts in the these mirrors were only into plastic, not any metal internal frame. 3 stripped out. I epoxied and mechanically connected the rivnuts to the body to make sure they stay put. Now, got to convert to the new wiring connector... I wouldn't recommend this route unless the turn signals and puddles are a non-starter like they were for me. Anyone know anyone that can make a pigtail wiring harness to convert to the new connector?
I have a 21 with the 302A trim option and my mirrors are like your stock ones power but mine have the puddle lights, camera, spot lights, turn signal and the little warning light in the mirror for someone in the other lane. No defrost though. Did you get these from the dealer or elsewhere

Did you get the marker lights (amber lights) to work? I was told I needed forscan. Dealers haven't been helpful. They installed ml3z17696CA but they can't get the lights to work!
Not yet. We haven't had the time to work on it.

We haven't been able to figure it out yet.
Any issues when putting truck in reverse? Not sure if you have reverse brake assist but mine no longer works after changing mirrors.
for those who are looking to swap mirrors on trim 302a and up you need mirrors with the temp sensor in the mirror otherwise you’ll pop the CEL.

Yes after installing my 2021 Ford factory towing mirrors I get that message on my screen every time I put it in reverse.

Any issues with the Ambient air temperature sensor in the passenger side mirror. I keep getting this error.

The K-source Snap on Tow mirrors always are out of stock on back order. I would consider doing this, but My truck would no longer fit in the garage next to my wife's

Am I the only one who wants the small mirrors 😅? I hate my tow mirrors as I don’t tow anything and I have to fold them manually every time when I park in my garage !!! Anyone wants to trade ? Lol😅
Gotta go metric , lol! i am in Canada and my 2021 F150 Lariat does not have the American flag ...from what i understand the U S and Libya are the only countries in the world who have not gone metric !
