Installed two Boost 450$powered tow mirrors on my F150 in about one half hour Work great.
Boost Auto tow mirrors, Made in USA, fast shipping, cant beat the quality.
Hope yours hold up better than mine,my drivers side lower arm is rusted out in 2 years,it wont even extend anymore and now when you fold it the plastic trim pops because the frame under it broke from road salt.I wash my truck 3-4x a week year round. If you arent in a salt state im sure youll be fine. Mine were manual folding and manual extending, power and heated

I bought some tow mirrors for my f 150 ecoboost is there anything I need to be worried for? Saw different videos and the same tow mirrors fit on every truck which was 2018 just as mine is
Does your truck have the spot lights on the factory mirrors where the forward turn signals are. If you do, does the tow mirrors have the spot lights functionality as well or do you lose that feature.

More often than not, reusing the factory hardware is the way to go. The hardware supplied with aftermarket parts is usually cheap, and the nut flanges are often undersized. It's not unfair to say that most things that come out of Motorcraft box are going to fit your Ford vehicle better than anything aftermarket. Granted, there are certain variables, but going OE usually saves time and aggravation, and in some cases, money.
Save money? Not hardly at over $2K for a pair of OE mirrors. I can buy 8+ sets of after markets for that amount of dollars plus reuse the OE fasteners

I have the 8 pin harness but no instructions to where I’m supposed to wire up the loose wires. Any ideas?

I was just looking at tow mirrors last night, lol. I must be reading your mind. I just wish I could add the lights without it being a PITA. 2018 STX here with only power adjust mirrors.
Well you would still get the turns and adjust, I believe heat as well but not sure about that 100%. You could wire up the rest as they have them on the harness they send

Yes you can paint them but they would have to be sanded down smooth from the rough texture they have.
Any issue with the temperature sensor in the passenger side mirror being removed? Or did the new mirrors include a temp. sensor?

I have a 2020 F-150 XLT wanting to upgrade to tow mirrors as well. So the new ones you got have puddle lights does that mean they work with trucks that didnt originally have them? New to the truck world so I have no idea. Thx
Do not, I repeat do not get syppo tow mirrors! They are junk. Check out boost auto parts, and the ones from them will give you the puddle light if you don't already have it
were the mirrors u took off 8 or 22 pin? i have the regular ole plain jane side mirrors on my 19 STX and wouldnt mind the turn signal upgraded mirrors so im wondering if 1. are u wanting to sale ur oem's(if so, cost?) and 2. do u know what it would take to make them work properly on my truck(i have 8 pin mirrors)?
I had 22pib mirrors but they are already sold, sorry. But you would just need an adapter harness
How much do those cost more less all together? They look sweet! I just traded my 2014 f150 for a 2019 and a installed a leveling kit and bigger tires.. think the Mirrors could put the finishing touches on it
These are $300 but are out of stock and have been since like a week after I put the video up, there is a different company coming out with some that should be amazing!

Mike Salgado I ordered some from amazon that come with the 8 pin to 22 pin connector. So if you don’t have lights currently, it will have the lights and all that through the adapter. Can’t find any power folding/telescoping but the mirrors are powered, it has the puddle lights and blinkers
my 2020 f150 does not come with heater mirrors. is there much hassle to install new tow mirrors with heated option so that they work?
If you have rear defrost you have the wiring already for heated mirrors, if not then you'd have to add the wiring

I doubt you actually want these...a better set is by boost auto parts, that is what I have now and have a video on them. All you do is by the mirror. The link is in my newest video and the video I did on the boost mirrors

Please do a review update in a week or so. I have read a lot of complaints about these online. Main complaint is that they make alot of road noise.

They might have fixed the problem by now, lot of them had it.
Also a lot of sellers claim to be selling the Syppo when they are some other Chinese junk.
I have a 18 f150 lariat with 22 pin. Do you know if the clearance light will stay on when the turn signal is off?
Yes they do, but I do not suggest getting this set. I have a newer video with a different set that I would absolutely suggest getting!

Hey man I I went to the link where you bought the tow mirrors. Noticed you bought them on amazon. Now amazon don’t have any more and don’t know when they’ll get some or even if they do. Can you suggest a different pair. I have the same features as yours. Blis puddle turn and I’ve been looking for some. Any suggestions would help
I'm sure you find a different set but I had no luck at a cheaper price point. Those suckers are expensive! I did get ahold of Syppo and it will be 4weeks until they are back in stock but they are going to do a group at that time if you want to hold off.

I agree. These cheap-o Amazon mirrors have a crappy plastic mounting plate while the Boost Auto and OEM mirrors have a metal mounting plate.
I had a buddy get a set of these cheap ones and we compared them to my Boost Auto mirrors.
He sent his back and got the Boost Auto mirrors instead.
Buy from China, get Chinese "quality" garbage.

How have these mirrors been so far? Also do you have a link where you got them, considering trying out another set can’t stand the non-tow mirrors.
I havent had any issues with them but every once in awhile I can hear a slight wind noise from the driver side only with the radio off once on no longer hear it. The link for them is in the description

The set I had did fit well except for it sticking out a bit on the drivers side.
I ended up getting burned by the seller on eBay when I requested a return due to the mirror glass vibrating like crazy after 50mph but ended up out $300.
Only other option then paying $1500 for the Ford Tow Mirrors with Power Fold is to get a set of Ford manual tow mirrors.
Might wait another year or so prices will come down, the 2014 and under F150 mirrors are pretty cheap these days.
Good luck with yours, also if you know anybody that has the mirror glass shake it’s caused by the glass being too tight in the housing. If you push on the glass on the factory mirrors it moves around a lot.

You could yes, it just wont work of course. I have found out that the bottom glass is not replaceable which could be a pain should it get broken. There is a company coming out with new tow mirrors in the next couple weeks, keep an eye out!

@@williammackay604 they are completely plug and play, but the running lights dont actually work due to I have the regular mirror harness but the correct harness from boost auto is the only way to have the running lights

@@williammackay604 if you dont have tow mirrors get the one without tows. You have to click which mirror set you have on their page. If you want the harness for the tow mirrors get the one for tows. If youd rather a white running light then you could buy their switchback lense for the tows

I do not have that feature so no, they would have to be OEM and a lot of changes for that

Well I definitely don't recommend these but the heated function will still work. I HIGHLY recommend boost auto parts mirrors

Its come with a wire to connect it but you would have to buy the bliss tails and harness

thats why you go oem..i got a next to brand new set for my truck for 125. 90% of the aftermarket world is junk, unless you spend big money
Do not use power for this install, you'll break it - check the tightness on your original.
And cover the gap above the bolts - or you'll be taking the door panel off as well - NOT fun on F150's

Why the "BEWARE" in the title? I want those mirrors but I've read good things and bad things about them.
Because of all the bad....syppo mirrors seem ok at first then not so much. You cant remove the bottom glass without shattering it to unscrew it, major design flaw. And then on top of that, the wind noise, the shaking most have had and the replacement glass they sent is all distorted like a fun house mirror. If you still want those over a better set then that's your choice absolutely I just give a review

They 'extend' all of about 2 inches. Why even bother.
My Syypo mirrors were garbage, the mirror glass vibrates after 50 MPH. If you look at the stock mirrors there is a lot of play in the mirror. The Syypo mirror glass has no give at all causing the vibration.

Got these same ones cause I had the tow mirrors on a 2002 SuperDuty and the stacked mirrors work so well for me. Unfortunately they mirror glass shaking made them unusable for me.
Doesn't ford sell these? That way u can keep the truck factory. I'll have to look up the video that i saw. I'll update. *update* The channel i saw this on is MrTruckTv he also goes threw the install and it's a ford factory tow mirror cor anyone that doesn't want off brand. I don't kniw the cost diff tho.
The cost difference is...factory is like 4-600 each. Double these for a set.

Also these mirrors are garbage, mirror glass vibrates after 50 mph due to being made wrong. Factory mirrors have some play in them so they won’t vibrate, these are way too tight causing the shake.
