  • The sE Electronics v7 is a good option for people who are after a budget-friendly microphone for UA-cam, podcasts, or voice recordings. At £76 you cannot beat it for the price, deffo give it a try if you're in the market for a dynamic mic.

I've tried various dynamic mics, but I choose definitely sE Electronics V7, it requires only a bit eq versus other brands, even I bought a V7 capsule for my Sennheiser wireless mic

Hi, I want to record my written poetry professionally. Suggest me a good audio interface and microphone. But my room is not sound proof. The sound from outside comes inside our room. If I use Audio Technica 2035 mic and Shuru SM 58, then what will be the difference between the two? And which audio interface would be better for ShureSM 58. In which there is no noise and the quality is also good at the time of recording.

Hi, both the Shure SM58 and Audio-Technica AT2035 are great mics. The difference between them are: AT2035 is a large diaphragm condenser microphone, meaning it will capture more details when voice recording, but at the same time it will be less forgiving to reverb and external noise. The Shure SM 58 is a dynamic microphone slightly less detailed, but more forgiving for untreated rooms and external noise. My recommendation is try the microphone before you buy if you can, to see if it fits your voice. As for an audio interface the Zoom F3 is a great value recorder/audio-interface, thanks.

@@florinG Sir, if I use the original Shure SM 58 mic With Universal Volt 1 Audio Interface. Can I get a good recording? Noise will not come in the recording ? Will I get crisp sound quality?

@@TrueShayari hi, I own neither the Shure SM58 nor the interface, but provided the interface has good quality preamps, there’s no reason why you won’t get a good result out of the setup. Please note that some dynamic microphones require a cloud lifter, check with your supplier if this microphones requires one, thanks.

Fair enough, in that case a Focusrite 2i2 or solo and a generic XLR cable, should do. There's not that much difference between cheaper XLR cable or premium ones in terms of noise, people usually choose the premium ones for build quality and reliability, thanks. @@PODCASTSHALA
