Great video! Very easy to follow along thank you! However i wanted to know how do you edit some of the addresses like if some have apartment addresses and some have house addresses, like after the merge.?
Thanks so much! You should be able to edit them on Google docs just by clicking and typing I believe. On my spread sheet I put the full address in the "address 1" column including apartment numbers, then on the google doc I went to those envelopes and used the enter key to put that apartment number on a new line below. Might have to do a little re-centering but you should be able to edit them! Good question, I didn't think to mention that. Hopefully that works & helps! :)
Hi there my fiancee and I have been following your tutorial but got stuck with the add-on. It leads us to an error page when we try to select a spreadsheet for the mail merge. It's taking us to sign in to google (when we already are signed in) and then gives a google malfunction page. Any recommendations for a workaround? Thanks!
Hi, hmmm I did not run into that issue. What browser are you using? If you are not using Google Chrome I would switch to that and try again. If you can't get it to work you can shoot me an email allieschweizerphotography@gmail.com with some screenshots, I might be able to help more there if I can see what's going on. :)

Might be a pop up windows setting on so it is blocking the pop up window that should come up. What browser are you using? I would try googling "How to unblock pop up windows with google chrome (or whatever browser you are on)" and then see if that works :)

Go to mail merge, it should pop open on the right side of the screen. Click "envelopes" and you should be able to change the size there as well. After you pick the size hit apply and it should change the dimensions of the google doc for you. See if that works! If you are using the same kind of mail merge as I did in the video that should work :)
That's odd, I had more than 30 people and didn't run into that issue. I'm not sure, but I would probably try creating a new spreadsheet and coping over the addresses to a new document and then trying again. If it continues and only does 30 at a time then I would just roll with it and split your people into different documents in groups of 30 and just do it a few times to get them all. Sorry I don't know more, that's annoying!

Oh good question! Yes, I did smaller stacks just incase. I think I did stacks of 10 just to make sure nothing got jammed.

I don’t know what I did wrong, but after I download Mail merge and go to extensions, nothing pops up

Go to mail merge, it should pop open on the right side of the screen. Click "envelopes" and you should be able to change the size there as well. Do you know how to change the margins on this? Mine is like in the middle of the page
You should be able to go to File, Page Setup, and you would be able to adjust the margins there.

I had no issues, as far as I am aware it should be safe to download.
