💍 this was so helpful! We’ve been struggling with wrapping our heads around how expensive weddings can be during this process and this is exactly the type of tutorial I’ve been searching for. Congratulations of your wedding ♥️
You are so welcome! I am so glad it was helpful to you!! It was mind blowing how expensive weddings are so i wanted to cut costs as much as possible but have the guests know i was cutting costs!! :)
💍 Thank you for this video!!!! Your wedding invitation are absolutely gorgeous, very elegant! My niece is getting married in a few months and I’m trying to give her ideas on saving money and this video is so much help! Thank you! I’m definitely watching all of your wedding videos since I found this a year after you posted it. Thanks again and God bless. ♥️
LOVE YOU FOR THIS! Even with trying to find ways to DIY, I’ve only been able to find invites for minimum $450! Now with the amount of invites I’m making, I can do it for about $130 ☺️ Love it!! 💍💍💍💍💍
💍 super helpful! I didn’t realize how much wedding invitations cost, and like you can’t understand spending that much on paper that I know as a guest I didn’t pay much attention to! This is very helpful thank you!
This was my plan for my invites before I even saw your video. After watching, I know for sure that’s what I want to do. They look great and I love DIY-ing stationary. 💍
Did you mention anywhere how many invites you actually bought? Also, just fyi for anyone else, a good way to pick up gold leaf is with an old makeup/paint brush!! This way you don’t have to get your hands dirty and they’ll also brush off extras too. My wedding is in 2 years….. and I’m already doing wedding prep. 😅
I think i bought 60 invites but only made around 40.. and yes such a good idea!! I was trying to figure out the best way to put on the gold leaf and was struggling with that for sure!!
Hey girl! Thank you so much for making this video!! I used your links and everything is perfect! My fiancé and I are very impressed with the finished product! I used the “Devoted Delight” invitation with the envelope color in kraft on Truly Engaging. For 70 invitations is was $86 with shipping!
I loved the gold leafing, I’m celebrating my 50th Wedding Anniversary and that a great idea, I think I will be doing that to my invites. I stayed the whole video! Good video!
CONGRATS!!!! I am so glad this video helped you!! I plan on making a bunch more before my wedding but make sure you check out the ones I have already posted too!! :)
As a designer pt use Odd numbers so wrapping your invitations do 3 wraps and/or decorating odd numbers in a bouquet, table arrangements ect count everything in the grouping counted as 7 individual things the eye see’s ❤😊 which is an odd number. Hope this makes sense
💍this video was so helpful, thank you!!! I’m scouring the internet for DIY wedding invite ideas that don’t look “DIY” and this totally fit the bill♥️ excuse me while I go watch your save the date video😊
So happy I stumbled upon your tutorial! I have been thinking of doing wax seals for my invitations, but was a little intimidated by the process. Your invites look so beautiful I'm definitely going to try it out!
So beautiful! I am currently looking for invite designs that I can do myself and this looks like something I could definitely get the hang of! Thanks for an idea! 💍
Good job! You are so smart to save money and make your invitations look beautiful yourself. Your husband to be is a lucky guy😉Congratulations on you wedding💞

Loveeee this video! You worked so hard on your invites & they came out beautifully. It looks like the wax seal stamp link isn’t working. Can you please provide a new/updated link? Thank you!!!
Love all your wedding videos, already used your ideas for bridesmaid proposal boxes and save the dates! You are my wedding inspo! You have such practical ideas but still make them look so luxe. Thank you for introducing me to Truly Engaging, they really are the best value!

💍💍 did you use your new last name for the wax seal design? Also do you have a link to the etsy shop? Thanks for this super helpful video; I hadn't thought of using wax seals but it looks so easy and elegant!!!

We are trying to figure out how many supplies we will need for 120 invitations (how many glue sticks and spools of wax thread specifically?). @@SarahPopolo I’m a little nervous about the wax 🙈how long did you leave the wax stamp on the wax?
Only about 30 seconds or so! It helps if you put the wax stamp in ice for a second before stamping it. It will come up super easy that way.
💍cute idea and they look beautiful
Thank you! 😊
Hei.. love ur video!! Whats the material of ur invitation card? I wanna diy-ing that too for my wedding..❤

In the Envelope size box, click the choice that matches the size of your envelope. -- and then you can enter your info (i only used the recipient address feature and used the stamp for my address but you could type both through word)

What kind of paper and thickness did you choose? I’m a little overwhelmed with all the options they have.
You are so welcome! I am so happy you found the video helpful! I used the standard paper options!
Hello! These look beautiful 😍 how would people open them? The wax seal holds down the string right? They would need to remove the seal to open?
Thank you so much! i found it easiest to just slide it out but I’m sure some people also pulled the wax string to open it too..
Or maybe removed the wax seal? i am honestly not 100% sure how most people opened it but I always just slipped it out
