Thank you Karley!! Your tutorial is so detailed and your explanation is perfect! You made a mail merge for Save the Date cards so easy and I can't thank you enough. I thought the mail merge would be a struggle, but you made it a very smooth process! My issue was with my HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer, as it did not work well until I found out that it did NOT like me to enter in my own envelope size. After some frustration, I figured out to use the size shown in the Paper Handling- scale to fit paper size destination, then chose 200.01 x 147.99mm - which is 7.87 by 5.83 and that was close enough to get the printer to print on the envelopes. I put the envelope with the flap side up toward the back of the paper tray where it shows the spot for 4x6, so hopefully this will help someone else. Thank you again Karley for making this UA-cam video!! :)
THANK YOU! I just had to comment on your thorough and expertly explained procedure for printing custom sized envelopes. You NAILED IT! I’m using a MacBook Pro and Epson printer to address and print my Christmas card envelopes. Epson has only badly produced (no voice) videos. I consider myself a pro but needed to be reminded and was very grateful to come upon your UA-cam video.
*Holy craap!!! She is so good , and so good in detailed explaining, cant thank enough from Bangladesh. Noone explains so elaborately. Even if I cannot use any paid postal service to make this, anyway, thanks for your effort. Dhonnobad.* 31.12.2023
Thanks for the great info…I am getting closer to printing my envelopes…I have a very old inkjet & it doesn’t like printing on envelopes…so I am trying a different printer & I am confident I will get it to work! Your video is very helpful to a stressed out mother of the bride. I think we will have around 150-160 envelopes. I am prepping the mailing list prior to the invitations arriving & your video has been very helpful!
Just wondering if you got this to work? Mother of the bride here and got the mailing list all worked out, but cannot get my printer to accept the envelopes to print!
Is there a special way to load the paper? Since the envelopes are smaller than typical pieces of paper, how do you know where to load it so that the return address is perfectly in the corner and the recipient address is perfectly centered? Thank you!
SO HELPFUL! I was making mine as you were explaining. My question for you is if I am not using mail merge, how can I copy and paste each page so I can just manually type in each person's address, but my return address and placements are all the same? Thanks so much :)
Thank you SO much for this very helpful video! We are finding that our envelopes are coming out kind of wrinkled and not looking fresh. Do you have any tips? We have a Brother printer. Thanks again!
IDK why, but it didn't work for me. It wanted me to choose fields F2, F3 etc. What are those? The top line in my spreadsheet says "CONTACTS" and line 2 has the fields. But I still don't understand where F2 is...
My text box would print off centered towards the left and I couldn’t fix it. Print preview even showed it was centered. Even when I tried to save to PDF and print there, it was still off. Any ideas? Video was so helpful!
Have you tried to print Euro flap envelopes on your Canon Pixma with the flap open so you can print the return address on the flap and the front address at the same time? The front address has to be rotated 180 to come out correctly. I haven't found a way to get the mail merge text box to work rotated 180.
I have an HP printer, do you know how I can print the envelope without a rear tray? I only have the main tray to feed it thru so I'm not sure if this can be done the same. This is amazing though, i would LOVE to do this for my wedding :)
Hey I have an HP printer too. I learned how to to it. ●Pull out ur tray of paper. ●Put in ur envelopes face down. We're the part we're u lick is facing u. Lick tab more to your right or to the left side ●There's a paper tray guide holder--pull those close to hold the envelopes. ●Close the tray n hit dat print button. I tried to set the size of the envelopes but I couldn't on my phone. But since those guides for the paper is there I guess it tells the printer how big to print. I'm assuming. Don't quote me lol. 😅. But try print one envelope to see what side it will come out. Hope this helps
This worked perfectly for me up until printing and now I’m having trouble choosing “envelope” as an option under media and quality. The only option it gives me are “glossy paper” and “plain paper”. Any idea how I can fix it?
I’d choose glossy since the print quality is usually better :) if you printer usually supports more options, check to make sure you have the latest version of your print driver installed.
Thanks so much for replying! I figured it out, for anyone else using a Mac and an HP Deskjet, you have to format your page size to have a width of 5.25 and a height of 7.25 due to the way the printers wants you to load the envelopes! You have to format your envelopes sideways but once I figured it out they came out perfectly!

Thank you so much for this! I just did my first wedding invite and loved how it turned out!! So beautiful!

Thank you soo much. I was struggling with printing envelopes for my wedding. Your video truly helped me!!!
This is amazing!!! Thank you so very much. This is a life saver when it comes to wedding mailings :)
I spoke too soon...I am on PC and cant get it to print on my envelopes :(
Did you ever figure this out? I’m stuck on the printing step, too!
Is there a special way to load the paper? Since the envelopes are smaller than typical pieces of paper, how do you know where to load it so that the return address is perfectly in the corner and the recipient address is perfectly centered? Thank you!
You have to have a printer than can take different sized papers.
SO HELPFUL! I was making mine as you were explaining. My question for you is if I am not using mail merge, how can I copy and paste each page so I can just manually type in each person's address, but my return address and placements are all the same? Thanks so much :)
Thank you so much!! I’ll be using this for my wedding invitations 🤗
Thank you so much! I spent three hours trying to get mine to work and couldn’t find any videos with the same printer as mine! ❤
so helpful - is there a way to print the return address on the back of the invitation envelope?
This was so easy to follow and EXACTLY what I needed. THANK YOU!
You are so welcome!
Thank you SO much for this very helpful video! We are finding that our envelopes are coming out kind of wrinkled and not looking fresh. Do you have any tips? We have a Brother printer. Thanks again!
Loved how you demonstrated and explained everything. Could you show how to post graphics on the envelope
You can search how to add graphics or pictures in word. You’d just insert based on what it is and go from there!
IDK why, but it didn't work for me. It wanted me to choose fields F2, F3 etc. What are those? The top line in my spreadsheet says "CONTACTS" and line 2 has the fields. But I still don't understand where F2 is...
Happy to see your back!
Wow! Impressive! Thanks for the tutorial!about to try it out today.... we'll see how it goes...
Finally figured this out! Thank you so much! How can I download and add a graphic!? Are these downloaded on Etsy? Looking for a fall graphic

It’s sounds like your envelope isn’t loading properly or maybe your sizing of your envelope is off in the printer settings!
It's a little different on a PC for Word (believe you are using a MAC version) - but I think I've figured it out.
My word version does not do the file -> page setup->envelope
🥹
This is the best tutorial ever!!! Thank you!
Thank you. Do you have a tutorial of how to add the graphics?
Similar to adding the text box, just click insert, and choose a graphic from your computer :)
@@KarleyHall Thanks

Omg thanks for this!
Hi! I was wondering how you set it so if you wanted to use first names on some and a family name on others, how you would do that
Yah! When you click preview- you can edit individual documents. So you can change whichever envelopes/ names you want ❤
This was EXTREMELY helpful!! Thank you 😊
Do you have a tutorial for using Pages?
I have an HP printer, do you know how I can print the envelope without a rear tray? I only have the main tray to feed it thru so I'm not sure if this can be done the same. This is amazing though, i would LOVE to do this for my wedding :)

Thank you so much. Best video I’ve seen. It really helped
Hi I have a Mac is “word” the same thing as Microsoft? 🤷♀️ sorry for my ignorance.
Word is a program to write and create documents for Microsoft computers. Microsoft is the company, equivalent to Apple.
extremely helpful video! Thanks
This was so helpful!!!!
This video was so helpful!! Thank you so much!!

Great tutorial! I noticed the Greensboro address, shoutout 336
So helpful! Thanks
Where did you get the pumpkin harvest font?
It’s linked in the video description :)
Thank you ❤
My biggest challenge is finding a printer that can print on to envelopes efficiently. I'm wanting to send out 100-200 mail pieces a week.
I linked the printer I used! I love it!
The canon TR800 series with the rear loading tray is the one she used and I bought. I tried it today and it worked!
Do you know why for some reason mail merge won’t work?
Very helpful!!!
How would you add another envelope(s) if you forgot to add an address or received an address after creating the mailing list?
I just “save as” and make a new file and manually type it!
I have a MAC can you do one for the Apple Mac?
This was done on an Apple Mac :)
Please show how to add the bottom graphic. I cant figure it out.
Drag the image into Microsoft word! And then resize!
You can purchase similar graphics on Etsy! That’s what I did
Command C?
On a Mac, command key and the c key, together, copy whatever is highlighted :)
Has anyone been successful on google docs with this technique
has anyone done this using Pages??
You can set up a mail merge in Pages!
@@KarleyHall thanks! i finally figured it out! also, where did you find your graphic?
Am I the only one who didn't find this helpful hahaha
Haha according to the comments- yes! What do you need help with?
