Dale Jr. Impressed By Darlington’s Incredible Moments

- Опубліковано 28 тра 2024
- Dale Earnhardt Jr. returns from vacationing in London and Scotland for another edition of Dirty Air. Although he was overseas spending time with Jimmie Johnson, Matt Kenseth, and Casey Mears, it didn’t keep him from tuning into all the action at Darlington for NASCAR's throwback weekend. Dale discusses the emotions and motivations behind Chris Buescher's confrontation with Tyler Reddick, as well as Buescher's desire to win in the NASCAR Cup Series. Plus, who is to blame for William Byron and Ryan Blaney's on-track run-in? They also delve into Brad Keselowski's influence on the Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing team and his decision to become a driver-owner. Dale also speculates potential changes in the NASCAR landscape, including Michael McDowell's move to Spire Motorsports and the possibility of charters being sold or transferred between teams.

Darlington should be on everybody's Top 3 favorite NASCAR track!
💯
Absolutely! I love Darlington.
It’s my top 1 race track
The best track and it ain’t close.
My first race last year for the playoffs
I think this goes to show Nascar belongs back at “THE ROCK” NC Motor Speedway!
I AGREE "THE ROCK" NEEDS TO BE BROUGHT BACK LIKE NORTH WILKESBORO 🏁🏆🏁🫡🇺🇸💞🤗💞🙏🏻👍
Yes. The chickens need to come home to roost. NASCAR learned their lesson you'd think, to not leave it's home behind, with them ditching Darlington dates for westward expansion. The Rock is another unique track with character and history.
Hopefully Smith can pick it up as well. He would be the one to get it back in the schedule.
Them biscuits don't hit like them "BIRD-DOGS!!!" do
When Dale says he's got to be careful what he "speculates" before he gets himself in trouble says to me that Dale knows much more than he can share with his "speculation"!
No one should be surprised with him knowing more than can share it's the same with DBC guys or others that hear things that are facts
Going to both Darlington Cup races each year is a must for me
This is the way
Too tough to tame! The lady in black! Darlington 🏁
Went to darlington for the first time last weekend for the Goodyear 400... Absolutely Loved It! Will be going back in September for sure!
Thank you so much for all the contributions. Just really enjoy all the information put forth.
Dale Jr having his 007, Beatles moments.
As an Irish person and big NASCAR fan, I welcome your decision to come to Ireland. Hopefully you pop by Galway, Ireland's prettiest city
lucky Dale County Cork has been the top of my never will happen wish list. my paternal great grandmother came from there and wonder if there are any Conroys still there
Mad to think you were here in London. Hope you had fun, I can’t wait to be back on the better side for Bristol in September 🙏🏽🇬🇧🇺🇸
Listening to this while playing nascar 06 TTC
Nice.
I watched jr finish 2nd at Darlington in I believe 2014, one of the best races I’ve ever been too
DOES DALE JR MISS SAYING....."BIRD DOGS"!!!!! LOVE IT
Use to go to Darlington both races every year!Got picks of Jr&Sr and just loved the racing there! To me Darlington is my Daytona but what an awesome race track!
I guess Darlington's one of those moments where you just gotta accept thats it just racing pure and simple
I know its not the focal point but pro tip about going to Europe if you are. Schedule your outbound flight to be an over night flight to leave the states around the time you would normally go to sleep. We did that and the jet lag was almost non existent. We did a 10:45p departure from ATL to Edinburgh and landed local time at like 10:30a/11a in Scotland. I slept a solid 6-7 hours of the 9ish hour flight and felt great when we got there. We were lucky and fortunate enough we spent a month in Europe and we didn't have as much of a choice when coming back. That is where we got destroyed. We left local time at like 9am after being on EU time for a month. Destroyed us cause no way we could sleep on the flight back.
It's kind of wild how much better the 4 and 14 cars historically have been than the 10 and 41.
The 4 car, since SHR formed and it became the 39, has won in 40 races (if I counted correctly) in 553 starts.
The 14 has won 19 races in 553 starts (most from Stewart, two from Bowyer, one from Briscoe).
On the other hand, the 10 car has two wins in 419 starts (both being from Almirola).
The 41 has won 7 races in 373 starts (6 of them from Kurt and one completely random one by Custer) and hasn't finished better in points without Kurt than 16th and that was only because Custer won that one random Kentucky race to get into the playoffs.
I don't really get why it's always been that way. The 41 car in particular has had so many different drivers and only Kurt has ever made that car look like it's even worth loading into the trailer.
I’m a MTB rider that’s one of the biggest reasons why we ride, clear your mind and have fun
Good info on Darlington from a driver.
Top line, brother interview almost brought tears to my eyes
The 6 was coming and Reddick knew its now or never... Brad is in the Allstar race too.
Thanks for the background on Brad's family.
Man I miss seeing Jr in the cup series competing. Definitely not the same with him. I said the same about Sr as well. Looking forward to seeing him race in the Xfinity series
Dale jr is the best 👌
The Scotland story cracked me up. My daughter was in school at Edenborough a few years ago, I was visiting wearing a Jr Whiskey River t shirt. An old man comes up and tells me he like my shirt. I ask are you a Dale Jr fan?, he replies who's that. I tried are you a NASCAR fan? he looked confused but replied "this is Scotland I'm a Fn whiskey fan, I want to know about this whiskey river.
Darlington is my favorite track
Yeah, I'm goyeah, that occasional housekeeping family.I grew up in Mount Clemens Speedway. They raced their mile life.I got to go to the original shop before bread was even born and yeah so proud of that kid
This has been my favorite race of 2024 so far. Though this past weekend has been pretty fun overall with the three main series races.
I was impressed as well. 💯
well im curious now, did you enjoy the fly fishing? I know you must enjoy the outdoors somewhat.
@dirtymomedia Quick question --> What was the name of the app you used for the security?
Love the Dale life updates, how long until we get some Jr Vlogs
As a fabricator I’ve not been a fan of the “store bought” cars that many series have gone too like Indy and now Nascar, unfortunately! However I will say that racing has been pretty good the last few events!
that 6 car is gonna dominate yalls life for the rest of teh season
Hope Brad Keselowski is this generation’s Terry Labonte.
@@bighand1530 so, you're hoping he goes 15 years between champuonships?
@@roberthevern6169 I would have liked for Brad Keselowski to win a possible second championship sooner. But better late than never.
I need a clip of everytime dale says "yall better not put out a clip"
Would love to have seen it but I cannot afford to get cable or streaming
Nice
Indeed
As a frequent flyer I can attest that forward of the wings is a much smoother ride. I prefer row 2 because row 1 is bulkhead row and. no under-seat storage 😂
Not even gonna mention the Dale Sr throwback at all?
I have an idea that would make the racing so much better. At the most critical time, like a green, white, checker, have the booth call down to the main drivers and ask them what they are thinking right when they drop the green flag.
What is the name of that app for customs?
Did anyone recognize you while you were in Great Britain
Jr I thought you was gonna say Prince Williams motorcade stopped to get to meant you, LMAO that would've been something.
"fuelselage" :D
Ain’t nothin like sitting in turn one at Darlington
Redick is awesome. Chris is crying, like it should be handed to him. But I get it, Chris is working hard…and my number one driver was crying a few weeks ago. …btw Chris pushing Reddick into the wall means game on.
I feel like it’s intentional to devalue short tracks.
The trick for just using carry-on is simply wear layers of cloths. 5-day trip, 5 layers of cloths :-D
Wouldn't that get a bit warm?
@@roberthevern6169 not if you stripe on the plane! lol I say all of this half joking, but I do know of a couple fellow frequent fliers that do this. It’s crazy, but it works. lol
Dale Jr went to Balmoral?! Good Lord he's part of the monarchy now.
So starting at 30:30 around there is the same for Byran Truex and Blaney was good but they was not getting up there thats fact plus Truex got into Blaney just before Byran came up the track not only that was there spotters should have known and told the drivers 12 n 19 he was there js
what happened to the guy that used to be on your show.
I don't know who did the timestamps but they're terribly off.
They're basically brother n laws
Buy the 4 car equipment and charter from SHR and keep Josh in the car!
Have your rain gear going to irealnd
Well I got news for you every track every week is never going to have great racing like that. NASCAR has tried to replicate great racing at every track for multiple decades and is unable to and will never be able to. Even when you do get great racing either the next time we go there the racing isn’t the same do to weather, temps , sunny , cloudy or there’s a change to the car.
We need the dale jr skull gloves on iracing…
I miss Mike.
The fact that they took a date away for several years shows you out of touch nascar is with its core base!!!
Idgaf who is mad. If I’m trying to advance position piss on the other guys. You think Dale Sr cared? Hell no.
Buescher hit the wall and ran into Reddick before Reddick hit him!
Never, ever CHOOSE the back seat.
Tell dude in the red shirt to interrupt less.
Dirty mo > fox, nbc
Where is Mike Davis
Andrew is the man
If Blaney retaliated, RP would have been pissed, plus Nascar wiuld have sat him down for at least 1 or 2 races plus points loss and a laege fine!
Byron is a good driver, but he doesn't always think about what can happen when he does things like going three wide at Darlington. He wrecked Blaney, and he ran Larson into the wall.
The rock was the best high bank track like darlington
That was the last lap at bristol dirt not 10 to go
I love Dale but his alligator arms must be wearing Amy down lol
Soon to be "hall of famer"? Wait.....Brad K.? Good win for the team. Am I missing something? No offence, lol.
Bangers and mash is very similar to beanie weenies
Every racetrack they go to needs to have a different configuration. There have been, is, or was or still will be around 7 Charlotte Motor Speedways,, Chicago Kansas Charlotte Texas Atlanta Richmond Kentucky,,, lol enough!! Keep Charlotte Atlanta and Richmond dig up the rest and build some 1 mi and under race tracks for some beating and banging
Have fun calling the Coke 600 next year.
Wonder if Ryan Blaney can win again this year at the Coca Cola 600 like he did last year?
FDE Jr.
IMO Dale Jr. Is like a polling barometer to see the general reaction of stuff.
I.E.- Ty Dillion going to Cup 👎👎👎.
Short track fix. No spotters on short tracks. With the new 360° cameras drivers could run short tracks with no spotters. Just saying.
I predict Christopher Bell will win this weekend at the all star race
Maybe, maybe not!
@@roberthevern6169 Yeah maybe or maybe not
If im worth 400 million dollars, im buying a new sports jacket and leaving it there.
See my comment
🇨🇮
Here is the deal. You tell the owners of darlington to re pave the track or nascar goes somewhere else.
Fix cars, so they’re less aero dependent. We need more passing
Dale needs to go to a Dr for whatever is going on with his larynx. Been clearing his throat constantly every episode for so long now.
Junior, bruh, never fly coach.
The man is worth hundreds of millions of dollars and flying coach. Smh
Jr get Andy Houston on the show
bring Mike Davis back, show is not the same :(
Give it up....
No thanks. But you're right, it's not the same, it's better.
Mike is now president of dirty mo

I really enjoy Dale junior but I’m tired of all the advertising
Andrew looks like a make a wish kid doing the at track interviews. Can you put on a collard shirt maybe?
If we lose spring Richmond because NASCAR created a shitty short track car then that’ll be a sad day
Richmond hasn't been good for years.
Plus, we already have 7 short-track races in pretty much the same location, why not add a race in Mexico at a popular track that will sell out the stands vs. Richmond which never seems to even get half capacity anymore.
@@Theel25you just said it! Only 7 short tracks. That’s what NASCAR IS. Not nearly enough. I don’t consider a 3/4 mile track a short track however.
@@MRGandee I didn't say it was 7 only, why are you reading what I said. I said it was 7 short track races in nearly the same location(Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee). There are other ones such as Iowa and *whenever that happens* Auto Club, so they're not lacking in the ability to go places. They've expressed interest in the northwest beforehand, and Evergreen is a short track there, so...
Also the rules themselves state that a short tracks is any track less than a mile in length, so just because Richmond doesn't fit a "Descriptive" short track under your own definition doesn't mean it isn't.
@@Theel25 Richmond is top 5 in television viewership every week. nascar can call it whatever they want. They’re just one racing organization and the only one who considers tracks almost a mile “short tracks”
I think the 19 Toyota pos should've backed off. Toyota already got into the ford pos before the accident.
Didn't care for the ford and Toyota crap at the end. I get the pos fords were desperate. Best thing about the race Terry Labonte.
Ford did nothing wrong but race hard LOL what are you on about
Allgier wins, yay. Sam wins. i wish the other guy would have won
The Cup race was a snoozefest, and the only reason for the exciting finish was a caution flag with 30 to go, the car is still a turd!
👍 🇺🇸
Tight wad... lmao...

Are there pilots in there 30 or 40s? I wouldnt want some old fart flying in the 80s to fly me now.
Pilots usually retire before the age of 65. The demands of the job are why. My brother flew and retired from the company after 12 years!
