Very nice collection and beautiful plants but I get so tired listening because you keep talking while your mother is explaining some important information. Would be nice if you let your mother finish what she is saying and not to talk while she gives really important information about the plants she is holding. Was really good information she is saying. I had to keep rewinding just to filter out what she was saying behind your voice. Overall, plants are amazingly beautiful. Just saying. Peace
We are creating a new video that will be structured around our personal advice & experience. I'll make sure to keep quiet during that informative chat. This was a fun spur of the moment video. Happy Easter Taz&Family! What a stunning collection! I love alocasia i currently have 33 types, one day I’ll collect those amazing variegated ones. The verigated Jackylin to die for and I was wondering why mine got a bit of that tan ty to ur mom for explaining it! I have tried and tried pon but they die, mine are in soiless mix in ambient room and they are all happy only a couple in 2 leaf club lol❤ty for sharing your mum she’s adorable! Love the venom!
You're so welcome. Honestly, I think mediums are dependent on the person & their style of plant Care. Pon might work great for us, but may not for everyone. It's hard to figure it all out. Soiless mix club! Same here. Love it. ❤️ she will look at all the comments once I get her set up. She will appreciate your comment

They truly are so pretty, I did a soil less mix for a while and it’s worked great, I had a few recovery plants that did so well in PON that I made the decision to move them all into pon. Everyone finds something that works for them which is wonderful. I’m just a horrible over waterer so this was a great solution for me. 😂

I love this and the relationship you guys have is the cutest! What type of fertilizer do you guys use for them? I can seem to find the right one for the alocasias.
She uses foilage focus. So do I. We micro fertilize our plants. We have seen great results so far

What lighting does your mum use in her cabinets? Stunning❤
She uses a 6000k light strip. We set it to about 4000k for optimal alocasia growth.

So interesting! I have a variegated Polly that was probably tissue culture and it only had like 1% variegation left by leaf 5.. but all of the corms are coming out variegated! Hoping I have a similar experience and these ones are more successfully at maintaining the variegation
Thats what our experience so far has been. So weird! Glad the others maintained good var. 😍
That’s exactly what we found, it’s so great that the babies come out super variegated still and they seem to hold their variegation which is awesome. 🌸
Your mom as an AMAZING alocasia collection that I can only dream of! Love her!! 😍😍😍 In your experience, have you found the variegation from TC alocasia to revert? It's so hard to tell nowadays which ones are TC or not without directly asking. Even though I think most variegated alocasias are TC'ed, but I could be wrong 😅
Yeah. Honestly, they have all reverted. But the corms always come up var. For the most part. She's going to talk on another video soon explaining it all. I'm sure there are those that don't revert. But from what we've seen. They have all reverted. We still grow the corms

I’m not sure how accurate it is but I’m sure it’s fairly accurate, most plants that everyone buys now is TC. Almost everything in nursery is around the is mass produced.
Yup! Sure is. Lowes. Home depot. Garden centers. All mainly TC grown plants. We mainly notice issues with smaller alocasia. Mature established TC alocasia do a lot better.

Your mother is so patient! I would so irritated if I was trying to explain something I was very passionate about and someone else kept interrupting me. Her collection is beautiful. I think you should be more considerate next time. This is your channel and there are plenty of videos of only you just talking away. Please stop speaking over your mom.
Fortunately for me. We are both very patient with one another when it comes to conversations. I, unfortunately, with my ADHD struggle very horribly with impulse control. I sometimes don't realize I'm doing it. So, I appreciate your patience in sitting through me interrupting her. I asked her if it bothered her. She said absolutely not & she didn't even notice. So that's good. For future videos featuring her. I plan to set a visual reminder for myself to not interrupt. Thank you for supporting my channel, in future I'd prefer criticism to be delivered in a less hurtful way. Thank you.
