Yes, I prayed to God and asked him why he is a watcher of evil, rather than a preventor of it? God said that he needs constant attention and that when imperfect humans help each other to overcome all hardships, in turn, religious humans will always give God the credit for what humans actually did for each other. Its a win / win for God. Where else can this kind of credit be given in the real world to someone that had no part in it at all?

@m.weston7114 God gives man free will. And with that comes consequences of it. If he interfered, we would not live with free will as we would have direct knowledge of Him. It would be no different than having your parents watching over your every move and you knowing it. You would never grab that cookie and that is not free will.
It's amazing how you atheists just can't stand anyone believing in anything. That you can't let others believe reveals so much about your insecurity. If there is nothing out there and we simply wink out of existence why care about what anyone else does or what happens to anyone? It's all meaningless nothing.
You just can't stand it, can you? I'll bet you think you are the most tolerant person, but you only tolerate those like you. I'll be clear, intolerance is a Christian value and it's time to stop being tolerant of people like you.

After discovering Laura I saw a few other farm videos but quickly realized there’s only one farm related u -tube channel for me. The reason is she is showing the whole country what it takes to run a modern farm business. Her fantastic personality clearly shows. This disaster and her involvement to help reflects the best of America ! Anyone seeing this has to put themselves in that place and realize the gravity of such a devastating tragedy. Yes please don't rely on the terms of a 10 year old policy. Review your policy as frequently as you service your main equipment. Especially following the chaos of a pandemic. So great to see the support this family is getting. It's still hard to cope with a disaster like this but it helps to know you're not alone.
Special note here; having been through this exact situation myself in January of '22 certain things that appear "ok" or still usable should not be trusted. When steel gets that hot it loses it's temper. Becomes soft and unable to withstand the load put on it by serious use. For example a wrench can round out on a stuck bolt and slip and there you go smashing fingers. Or especially those hitches. They should be used in extreme caution or just tossed to be safe. They most likely are soft from the heat/cool down cycle (lost temper) and can bend or even tear out around the pin holes quite easily. Resulting in trailer coming loose on the road. Some things just aren't worth the risk. Log chains too can stretch and break under much less force than they should. Broken chains are extremely dangerous. Not trying to be a jerk here just speaking from recent experience. Take care guys. Continued prayers.

Soon very sorry for these folks and their major loss my thoughts and prayers go to them all and thank you to those who have helped clean things up. But I would like to say that some of these feel that he is planning on reusing such as the ball hitches and so forth I would not use them they are going to be very brittle and easy to break better to buy new😢

Laura you know that the support they have received is just how the farm communities react to these disasters. And I think that those who are not farm families right now most likely have roots in farming somewhere. 99.9% of farm families are the salt of the earth.

Laura - Thank you for using this platform to bring Mike's disaster to our attention. I grew up on a small family farm (in Maryland) and understand what a devastating loss this is for Mike and his family. I made a GFM contribution and hope MANY of your viewers do the same. The USA can't afford to lose family farmers.

The positive cable from the batteries to the starter and then from the starter to the alternator and cab have constant juice that isn't fused so it's another good reason to have disconnects on everything. Make sure the cable is well wrapped, sleeved, insulated, and secured{ties, clamps} as well and keep an eye out for any place it might be starting to chafe.

What a tragic loss. That is so hard to even look at knowing the substantial loss came about from only trying to protect equipment from storm damage. Very devastating. Farm rescue is a life saver of a project for farmers in dire need from what I have seen over the years. My question is, is there a similar project that is available for helping farmers in dire situations with getting crops in the ground. Such as in this case, every piece of equipment was lost and now the farmer has no means of even planting crops? If not, I think there should be a similar one created for just that.
