Its SO, SO, SO nice to se such a beautiful fresh faced young Christian couple living such a good life and a wholesome occupation. Thank you guys for sharing your videos.. I growed up working on a big dairy farm (family run and owned) and I thoroughly enjoy and identify with all of your videos God Bless you to, and may The Lord Bless your farm and family.. Your parents MUST be very proud😊
A do over! So glad to see you know where to find the "Dipstick" and use the checklist, shades and always use your "seatbelt"... When it's high risk like backing up without a spotter towards the fuel buggy! ......But so like Grants shelter belt matches his gal's cutoffs!
Sign of a REAL farmer: " OH!, Look at the little Corn Plants!". From the land of Corn(Indiana) To Nebraska( Corn Metropolis), Good Morning , Grant and Laura!
Growing turf/lawns is farming. There are several sod farms here in Kentucky. Laura, you can just do a video of you petting Scotty the cat and I'll watch it because I always enjoy your bright cheerful upbeat persona! Your videos are never boring and they are interesting and educational in my opinion! :-)
I’ve been really impressed with my kubota. It’s pre def and their largest “utility” model for the yard but it’s been really indestructible for cattle chores, ground leveling, hay, batwing, and abusing clearing out nasty thorn/over grown woods. Doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of other brands with precision equipment but for 100 horse it’s been a beast
I've had most of my garden planted for a week now. It's been raining for the last few days now so thankfully I haven't had to water it much. Though I did water it the first few days but I think that was a mistake because the seeds I had help planting well at least the beans and peas were starting to come uncovered I wasn't happy about that so hopefully lord willing they will sprout.
Laura you and Grant make such a team. Can you imagine the farmers before you planted all the fields you did a couple of weeks ago using an open tractor with no AV or compressor that would have been really hard. I love your yard and your videos pray for some rain. Till next time stay safe and be happy. 😂😂😂😂
I don’t think I have seen anything as cute as you are on a lawnmower ❤ I am very excited about the vast improvements you are applying to your yard and home….I can foresee great curb appeal 🥰
It's always so fun watch Laura go head long into something and figure out how to make it work. She can figure out and operate any piece of farm equipment. Her energy and enthusiasm for life is almost contageous. I love her smile, her voice and projected upbeat personality. She and Grant are a great couple and my favorite farmers.
Laura Yes We Are Willing To Come Along at Any Time And Doing Whatever It Is Your Doing!! Thank You For Making It Possible For Us To Join You Thru Your Day!! Keep Smiling On!! 😅👍👊❤
I bought my mother a home in September and it has been a LONG MISSION to get it renovated and ready and she's just moving in. It is such a joy to have something and take the time and energy to make it yours. Super happy to see you're pushing to bring local natural wilderness back to the majority, it will be beautiful and full of life and colour!
I just want to thank you and Grant for all the videos you make. There are some channels I follow that put out a new video once or twice a month. It sure makes it fun to follow when there's a new video every 4 or 5 days! I appreciate all the filming you do on TOP of all the hard work you do farming.
Thanks for sharing your lives with your viewers. Our daughter and son-in-law are probably about your ages and it’s just great seeing everything the future has to hold for you and the excitement as you go through it. Keep’em coming! 👍🏻👏🏻
Hi Laura. You must put GRASS SEED under the ground at least 1 inches If NOT will never be Nice for your Pretty home... Great to see you and Grent God bless you and your family ❤️💐
Well I must say that no matter what shes planting, corn soy beans or grass Laura looks fantastic. She handles those new tractors like she had been on them all her life. Typical of a farm wife, handles anything that needs to be done, and Grant has the moxie to let her do so without criticizing or throwing tantrums. Your farm should be a very prosperous concern with the way you compliment each other. Looking forward to great things from "Laura Farms" in the future, may 2023 set you up for all long and fruitful farm life.
Great idea planting the native prairie grass on the non-lawn portion. I'm sure it will look great and will help preserve some of the habitat that is so important to the critters out there.
Although I like watching you guys planting crops, drilling in grass seeds in this video made my day … you will have a beautiful green yard, it’s going to be amazing. Wishing you lots of rain, but no downpours…😉👌🤞🙏.
Morning, the funniest thing happened yesterday pulling up to some Traffic lights yesterday, I pulled up to a John Deere 8310r with a grain bin trailer behind it, not something you see every day in Ballarat Victoria Australia.
I have a brand new M7-172.. within 10 hours of I using it for actual work it was broke down in the middle of the field... figured out really quickly kubota standing behinds its products is horrible wrapped stuff up in insulation tape and said its repaired... in such a matter that people ask me why i have duct tape on my new tractor. Its too bad as the tractor is nice to operate (when its working correctly)
Congratulations on your new yard. It will be fun to watch it grow and turn green. I really like the idea of planting prairie grass! I think Scotty is going to enjoy hunting critters in the tall grass 🙂
I’m part of a small grass farm, down to 1500 aches from my great great grandpa homesteading from theOregon trail. I love watching corn 🌽, because all I know is grass and bean, beats, and wheat 🌾
My 320 acre Christmas Tree Farm in Silverton Oregon was originally a grass seed farm and I learned all about grass seed production and it is a fascinating crop, Oregon produces more grass seed than anywhere on earth.
YaLL need to pressure wash mower deck after each use to wash wet grass off which will keep it from rusting out. Also yall should buy Fluid Film and apply to steel unpainted implements to prevent rusting. I would plant alfalfa somewhere, it brings good $ when sold to horse farms. Hugggzzzz from Kentucky yall
Hola Laura eres súper es pesa pones sía tienes una energía muy buena te en canta comunicarte y todas las maquinas yo creo que una vendedora tanbien des de España un fuerte abrazo 😘❤️😘👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I live in a semi-rural suburban area. There are any number of small farms that I pass on a daily basis. While Spring is planting season - as a non-farmer you never know what has been planted until it grows enough to be able to identify the crop.
We have a small New Holland compact tractor. That thing gets used more times than I can venture a guess on. Yard is coming together, keep up the good work!
I am unfamiliar with LS tractors. Looks like it runs and works well. Now the Kubota I am familiar with to some degree. we have dealership about a mile away. and a JD about two mile away.
I suppose it doesn't matter how honest and decent you are, they always seem to attract the vicious and vindictive trolls. What a world we live in. Great video Laura. Keep up the good work.

Man oh man she is a photogenic, natural, a star is born, woman. Great video.
And, on the next episode, we setup the yard pivot to make the grass grow. 😊
Aka a sprinkler. 😂😂😂

A little surprised you didn't make a personal garden for all your organic home grown vegetable's!
Good idea making most of the yard a natural area with native grass and plants.
Laura & Grant you have worked a lot on that yard & it shows! When the grass comes up it will be so beautiful. You & Grant have a beautiful farm.🚜🚜🚜👍

That's supposed to be ( no AC and no computers) that's what I get for not paying attention.
We just filled a well that was used for 100 yrs. It was only 3.5' wide and 21'. Cleaned it all and filled it

Wishing you lots of rain, but no downpours…😉👌🤞🙏.
As big as the yard looks on UA-cam, you are going to need some of those 4 legged critter lawn mowers. 😂👍😎✌️
Great content as always Laura. I did notice something missing when you were planting corn. No old glory flying proudly on that tractor
You are always so humble we love the vids Ty for letting us watch them ❤
Morning, the funniest thing happened yesterday pulling up to some Traffic lights yesterday, I pulled up to a John Deere 8310r with a grain bin trailer behind it, not something you see every day in Ballarat Victoria Australia.
It is nice to see you and Grant doing “around the house “ chores and things! It’s very relatable!
I've ran 4 Kubota tractors an '03 M120, a '11 M108 S a '13 M135 GX and a '14 M126 GX. They are great tractors, very reliable.
@@JohnSmith-oy1vl well it sucks you had that experience, but I can say my experience with Kubota has been great.
And some pretty flowers maybe? Very good for your crops also
Looking good! Many area's of Nebraska and Kansas are very dry the Winter wheat crop was a disaster! Hopefully the rain continues!
Congratulations on your new yard. It will be fun to watch it grow and turn green. I really like the idea of planting prairie grass! I think Scotty is going to enjoy hunting critters in the tall grass 🙂

Being a Tennessean we like orange equipment.

I see you got Firestones on that Kabota, I build tires like that in des moines, i like to think i made your tires lol
It would be interesting to find the history behind the original homesteaders. Probably a pic out there.
I live in a semi-rural suburban area. There are any number of small farms that I pass on a daily basis. While Spring is planting season - as a non-farmer you never know what has been planted until it grows enough to be able to identify the crop.
