Imo it is not really designed for paddling, some do use a stand up paddle board style paddle to navigate shallow areas. This is a peddle or motorized designed platform for the most part.
I payed about 800 when I bought mine a few years ago. I use a cheap marine 12v lead acid battery costs 90 bucks at walmart, and can run multiple days in a row without needing to recharge.
Howdy Cody, there are way to many variables for this question wind/current/battery size and type. I am using a marine 12v deep cycle battery. The negative is how heavy it is at 55lbs. The positive but I can go multiple days in a row without running out. The dream for me is a KO2 or Dakota lithium. I would contact UltraSkiff they should have an estimated data sheet for you to view.
Steve, we do not have one to show you, but it is easy to load and unload using a truck bed extender. With the wheels down, grab the handles on the pontoons while standing between them, walk it up to the bed extender and set the front of the pontoons on. Walk to the back and slide it up and on to the bed. Raise the wheels and slide it all the way on. Tie it in, hang a red flag, and drive away. To unload reverse the process.
Thanks for the video. Would you have a specific recommendation for a big fella looking for something like this? I weigh in at 360 lb. I think this particular boat is good to 500 lb but with gear and stuff, maybe that's cutting it close? My use would be on a slow moving river where the only waves are caused by other boaters.
Cut back on gear. Only take 2 poles and organize a separate tackle box for just what u want for that day or just for kayak fishing. Everyone takes 200 pounds worth of gear and tackle. Everyone also only uses 10 pounds worth of that gear. Anyway. Keep the load capacity of any kayak atleast 50-75 pounds over how much you plan to load onto it. Helps with stability. Honestly could look into sea eagle fishing skiff or fishing sup. The skiff has a limit of like 800 pounds the fishing sup has a limit of around 500 pounds. Both rather light for the size both can take a motor.
Chris, we carried it in our pickup bed with a Boonedox bed extender. The pontoons fit between the wheel wells of a normal bed. Otherwise, a 14 - 16' flat bed does well. If you find a trailer with an adjustable pontoon bunk system, that may work, also.
This thing looks like a beast😮 awesome rig only down side is the noisy trolling motor
Hey bud. Just stumbled across your channel and I gotta say, LOVE your content man! You just got a new subscriber!!!
This is awesome, I appreciate your kind words!
Awsome video. I want one
This is going to be my next purchase
Cool video, mate. I was wondering, though, how well does it paddle? Can you make any decent headway whilst doing it?

@@tgcanoesandkayaks Ok, no worries. Happy fishing, hope you catch dinner before the sun goes down.
Would have been great if it had a transom to mount a small outboard.
Howdy, they make a model with with a front mounted transom called the 360 Pro.
That would be a lot cooler, if it had a minn Kota trolling motor with spot lock . Like the old town auto pilot kayak. Instead of the motor it has now.
I'm with you, those are very nice.
Agree, that flex drive is too noisy....way too noisy
How long will they go for and do they have a canopy ?
Going up river. How fast can the river flow before the e drive can't keep up?
that is a nice rig what dose the battery power drive cost and how long will it run on a charge

Soy de Costa Rica y megustaria obtener uno de esos, pero cuál sería el precio porfavor
How long will the battery last? How many miles will it go before it dies, it’s my current problem with my UltraSkiff.

Can you do a video of taking in and out and transporting? Thanks

Nice setup. How is the stability while standing
The stability is off the charts, you can walk all over the platform and feel good.
Will it fit in toyota tacoma bed (with the ext. bar support) ?
It is 48in wide. I would measure between the wheel wells of your truck bed to make sure.
Hello. How do you transport?
It fits in the bed of a pickup or on a trailer.

Appreciate you watching Kevin, the first 2 kayaks that come to my mind are the Jackson BigRig HD and Ocean Kayak Prowler Big Game.

Also the pond king rebel if you want solo pontoon style. It's pretty cool. Been wanting one myself but haven't had the need.
when will this be available? how do i get one.
where do you get the electric motor? i cant find one
I recommend sending an email to Jackson about availability.
How do you tow this type of boat. What kind of trailer?

How long did the battery last?
Allways depends on the battery size/current/wind. Many factors at play.
What do you think your average speed was on the highest setting ?
for us about 4 mph, peaking at 5 mph depending on wind/current.
@@tgcanoesandkayaks awesome thank you . I can’t wait to get my Flex Drive E for my BlueSky and Big Rig FD
@@chriscaluori3102Hands down the E-Drive is the way to go on the BlueSky. Enjoy the ride!
@@tgcanoesandkayaks Thanks man I appreciate the info and keep the great content coming .
How many lbs thrust
What's the price
Has anyone put a regular trolling motor on it yet. Don’t much care for that setup.
Tom they do offer that version as well, it's the Blue Sky 360 Pro, it can run either foot-controlled or transom-mounted trolling motors
How much did your whole setup cost
at the time about 5k
