Great Video! Looking to get one this Spring. Sport Show coming to Pittsuburgh, PA this weekend. Hopefully a kayak seller will have one on display. Question: How long does the battery last on your Torqueedo before it goes dead? And do you feel that one power pole is good enough for the boat or 2 are needed?
How did you modify the hinge mounts? Looks like you have to cut a slot on one end to go on the rudder end and cut some of the other end off to keep it level?????
Its nice, but those cables on the rear deck maybe better hidden away , so as to add organization to your fishing machine. By the way how fast and for how long does your Blue Sky travel on the Torqeedo 1003c. Great video.
Nice set up.........and good, informative video. Was kind of hoping ya would've had a list in the video description for everything you are using, and if not links, at least name the website or business from where everything was purchased. But hey, ya still did a great job. Tight Lines.
Thanks Nik. But ya really don't have to go through all the trouble, I just notice that some folks will list everything shown in a video. No biggie. Tight Lines!!!
How does the pedal feature work with the motor attached to the rudder? Nice simple setup versus adding adapter kit and having to remove for transport. Does grass get caught around the motor prop and need to be cleaned off?
Really nice stuff man. I really like the idea if mounting the motor directly to the rudder. What do you think the weight capacity of that setup is? Think it could handle a heavier MinnKota?
Hello nik. Congratulations, excellent work. I want to venture into the topic of fishing by boat. Could you give me an approximation of how much money I can have to make a nice boat? like yours. My best wishes in your fishing adventures.
Hi, Great job on the boat. What I wanted to ask is which manufacturer, and where did you buy the hinged trolling motor mounts to secure your torqueedo to the rudder?
garlan cook it will turn on a dime with just the rudder and pedal drive. With theTorqeedo motor it still turns very sharp, but having the trust mounted behind the rudder reduces the turning radius a little. I
I actually got to demo one last week, I was kind of disappointed, mainly due to how hard that thing is to pedal. I could tell after a couple of hours I would be completely worn out. Its a really cool concept but they need a better drive system. I did get to try a PA 12, and I immediately fell in love with the mirage, witch will probably be my next kayak.
Just put a real trolling motor on it and for what this cost you could just get a real boat this thang cost so much you can get a nice boat for the price .
Great job on the rigging and a good looking boat.
Awesome setup!
Man !! Great Job.
Damn! Very Nice!
Bryan Casey I agree very nice
It is nice how he has it rigged up

Excelent!!!! fron Argentine.
Nick great job I’m building a trailer for my 360! Can you provide a detailed parts list of your trailer? Thanks keep up the great creativity!
so badass
Cool!

Can you post links to all the lights, rod holders etc you have added? Wicked cool setup. Love the torqeedo.

Howabouthetruth I’ll try and get that put together for you

R u going to rig a spot-lock trolling motor on front
I am thinking about putting a trolling motor on the front of mine with spotlock . Do u think it can handle it and what r your thoughts on one

Brandon Lee I’m sure it would. This motor (3hp, 100watts) isn’t extremely heavy, but has more torque than most other motors.
👏👏👏

Looks like the Torqeedo scoots you along pretty good. What speed does it get up to and how long does a charge last?
You must be a very busy man.
How did you make the hinge mounts to attach the Torqeedo to the rudder?
KretzOAR they are hinge mounts from a Minn Kota transom mount.
whats the top speed for that motor

Amazon. www.amazon.com/Bullnose-Rudder-Thrust-Trolling-Motors/dp/B01FRLDP26
Nik what kind of batteries were those you had attached to the seat spindle?
Karl Brown It is the 915 WH lithium battery that comes with the Torqeedo.
Top, muito distante da realidade do meu país... Uma pequena parte pode ter algo assim.
great video, Nick! what's the link to that facebook group page of BlueSky?

How tight a turning radius does that Bluesky have?

Nik Brown thanks for your reply. Have you had it in any weeds yet?
garlan cook I have been avoiding them, but I have a good spot in the hydrilla to try.
Nice boat! I wish the seat would raise and lower. I sat in one and it's too high for me.
Jerry Krabe the seat actually does raise and lower about 4”
Jerry Krabe it also moves fore and aft
Are yall going to have retailers in the Atlanta, Chatanooga area?
Bierce88 I believe Rock Creek Outfitters is a dealer in Chattanooga.

Is the 360 angler tournament legal
Corey Everett I suppose that would depend on the tournament, but I am guessing it is legal in most Boat and Kayak tournaments.
Nik Brown thanks for responding so quickly keep doing what you do
Too much junk on it, must weight a ton. I might as well keep my Salem speedboat. Is there a Kayak just for cruising, no fishing?
I would think just take the rudder off throw a outboard motor on back with handle and have a real boat.
With everything they do, it does not convince me.
Just put a real trolling motor on it and for what this cost you could just get a real boat this thang cost so much you can get a nice boat for the price .
Bla,,,,,,Bla,,,,,, Bla.....I ...I.
A real boat just looks so much easier and cost effective.
