I bought a Titan 10.5 last year. Added wheel kit, and off the fishing I went. Love it! Haven't seen the Blue Sky, or might have considered it. Nice comparison, guys...
Demoed the 360 last year, and that thing has a turning radius of a bus. Also the way the deck is you have to be careful moving around because there are trip hazards. Cool idea, but I would get the titan.
Haven't had a Titan but I agree compared to the Hobie with boonedox I had on land the blue sky is much easier to move and load. I can also haul it in the 5 foot bed of my tacoma with an extender. There is about 45" width in the bed
How about showing two up on the blue sky? Honestly its like a large paddle board, so i would use this over a regular paddle board if two up was stabble
Everyone saying just buy a boat with a gas motor, but these are easy to drop in the water by your self. You can drop that bluesky any where you can a kayak. No launch needed.
I think I'd go with the Bluesky. My current Kayak was $1000 so I'll be with this one for a while but I'll have to save up and maybe get the Bluesky sometime down the road
On the titan, try putting the wheels on the opposite side. The wheels will can’t forward instead of backward, in turn they will be more centered. When stowing, stow on the intended sides. Something to think about.
I know this is old, but just watching the video. Someone did a video talking about how they did what you're saying and it messed up their kayak. I've been doing a ton of research lately, so I couldn't tell you what video, but that exact thing was referenced and it messed up his kayak
Awesome comparison, i wasnt aware that they made a catamaran style yak like that. seeing all that deck space and stability was really something spectacular. I'm guessing it would be nearly impossible to flip it over even in really choppy rough waters.
The blue skys are very cool. But if I was going to spend that much Id have to seriously consider a pelican peddle drive kayak and a decent used fishing boat for the same money.
Pelican Pedal drive is pretty cheesy from my expectancies. The demo at PSR way already bent and broken after one day of use. Was not impressed. But I get what your saying.
How much is that blue sky I really love that boat it looks tremendously stable and that’s one of the things I don’t like about kayaks they’re too easy to flip and that one there just looks like the perfect type kayak
Want to come and buy the titan 10.5 I live in Sacramento when is the best day to come out to Lodi and test it out if possible! I’m pretty much ready to buy but would love to test it out thank bro!
I have one. I got it for $400 on sale. And for the money its an awsome kayak. Ive had mine out a few times now and I like it more then the Vibe Yellowfin 110 I have. The seat is very comfy, it paddles well, and it is very stable. I did change a few things around on mine but who doesnt make mods to their kayak after getting it.😁 If you have any questions just ask.
That's because these things are very expensive and no one that has one wants to admit how much they spent on them. Could have got a real boat for less.
Sonny Crockett I agree. The entire idea behind the invention of the kayak is portability and the ability to portage through rough terrain to access remote waters. That and they are cheap! These pedal kayaks are cool but the price and heavy weight ( 100lbs+) defeat the two main reasons to have a kayak in my opinion.
@@williambrandondavis6897 my point exactly. Why would you spend all that money on a floating plastic tub.....Jon boat beats it in so many ways. And much less $$$.
I want the blue sky, but I have a hard time spending that much. I'm not saying I'm not going to though. I just have to get my ducks in a row in case my wife wants a divorce. Fishing>love.
Wildcat Cowboy it doesn't look like the blue sky would be good in anything but calm water conditions. Any amount of wind or waves is going to have a pretty bad effect on it handling in my opinion. Kayaks on the other hand can generally handle some pretty severe weather with ease. I say this because I owned a catamaran style one man pontoon fishing boat similar in design to this, got caught in a surprise storm and I lost control of the boat to severe wind that blew me into trees in the lake. It was a micro burst with 60 mph winds, severe lightning and ping pong size hail. I got stuck in the trees and stumps and was about to abandon my boat and swim for it when a kayaker that was witnessing my maylay from shore came to my rescue and towed me back to the boat ramp. I sold that boat after that!
@@wildcatcowboy6591 Do consider that many kayaks are unsinkable. Most site on top kayaks are filled with foam and can take as much water as you want, it just goes out the scupper holes. Iv been on canoes since I was a kid so I don't even worry about it myself. Over a 1000 miles on my sit in kayak and never even come close to sinking or tipping it. But that is certainly something to consider!
Thanks man, sold me on the BlueSky. The Ergonomics was my only apprehension. Appreciate you covering that.
Stability is a major item, particularly when landing a large fish.
Minnesota Art Handt Dance Band absolutely and the Blue Sky has to be the best stable fishing platform on the market right now.

best yak reviews on youtube, bar none!

Can't wait to see the Jonny Boat Bass 100 review!!!
I know they already shipped to dealers and Headwaters is supposed to carry them but no mention anywhere from Headwaters. Bummer

Chris Gregory I’ll see if I can get you that video Soon 😎👌🏻
If the blue sky capsizes how do you righten it. Seems it would be difficult given it’s width and the weight and height of the seat.
When you fishing a 5 hours journey the confort is a must.. Blusky easy wins!
The Titan is basically the GOAT considering everything else gets compared, to, it.

Yeah but you have to register the boat. Blue skys dont need to be registered unless you put a battery powered motor

Isn’t this sort of like comparing an Infiniti QX80 with a Mini Cooper?
Kinda. IT was all in fun. Lots of folks compare these two, so we made a video.
Headwaters Kayak I’m so confused lol but hey, I got a better look at the BSB so 👍🏼
How much is that blue sky I really love that boat it looks tremendously stable and that’s one of the things I don’t like about kayaks they’re too easy to flip and that one there just looks like the perfect type kayak
How easy is it to "take down " BSBW, I have a Tacoma with a rack, by my guess, the pontoons would easy go up on the rack and the deck in the bed.
How would you compare the two pedal drive units? I have the latest propel drive; wondering if the flex drive feels similar?
Flex drive is a little rougher with slightly more resistance because of the drive cable. But it folds into the hull which is pretty sweet.
Unfortunately, this is a very biased review. You guys didn't even talk about the Red Green duct tape kayak or the Hello Kitty inflatable.
BS360 is awesome, but WOW, $4,000.00 ish. Any used available?
You have to go to the DMV to register a boat with a trolling motor ?
John Puckett yes in most states.
Here in NC we have to register your boat with Wild life not the DMV that is crazy
Check out Mobbin outdoors. He made a video about it.
Bluesky Angler 360 VS Native Titan propel 13.5 ???

Itz_chex any day we can usually get you out. Just call the shop and reserve a demo slot. 209-224-8367
Itz_chex do the demo and ask questions. The staff at Headwaters Kayak is hands down best customer service and knowledge out there in the area.
Thanks guys!
Thanks for watching!
Have you seen the lifetime Yukon? Seems like a great value with the full frame chair and wheel in the keel
Eric Kelley I have. I’m buying one to review actually.

“Best turning yak” 2020/2021 hobie 360 comes along but it’s also 4K more
I dont do well with kayaks blue sky all the way that's nice.
Wow it's good cycle boat... Maybe it's very expensive brother.. It's can for fishing... Nice channel..
Ha! Try that Titan in the wind and you will find out the rudder just doesn't work that well. Huge difference between wind and calm water.
You should peddle on your toes more. Its less stressful on your ankles and you can get more power on your crank.
have to say... the ONE thing EVERYONE wants to know is ( prices) and so many videos it's NEVER mentioned.
That's because these things are very expensive and no one that has one wants to admit how much they spent on them. Could have got a real boat for less.
The boat works is a little more than $3500
Happy Pedallin! 😁
Like see more on the blue sky
Nice.
Native titan 10.5 $2,500 ,blue sky angler $3,700
tom Robert thank you for that
14ft john boat with a 6hp outboard and trailer cost $2400 new.
William...5 years old been used 10 times $600 or winter time $350. I still like the Yak idea but 3700 is insane for my budget.

We will new Jackson prop fit on all existing drives?
Yes sir
Cant find native dealers anywhere here in Washington state, Idaho, and Oregon. All Hobies and then out of stock of pro anglers. Wtf?
Can you fit a kid on the blue sky with a adult?
jayrough yes I have had three kids in with me. I’m 230

I didn't like the bluesky when I first seen it, but now I'm seriously thinking of getting rid of my PA 12 and buying one.
I'm there with you. I was not a fan when I first saw the Blue Sky, but after using it a bunch now, I really enjoy it.
I'm interested in you're PA 12..
:)
I've been looking a boats for a while now and wasn't with the idea of a Kayak..but that bluesky.....its got me thinkin...hmmmmmm??
They are fun. I have an Electric outboard motor on mine and it does 7mph.
👍👍👍
Now re-do the review wearing nothing butt a speedo. Show off some of that gristle.

I would have to go with the blue sky, it's a lot more stable and you can swivel all the way around or stand.
