it doesnt work like a tablet, it works more like a mouse. so whenever you get out of range or it lags behind, the position of the cursor relative to the position of the pen changes. its a mouse in the shape of a pen basically.
The difference is the mouse is moves the cursor based off the RELATIVE position of the cursor on the screen but the tablet takes the position you have the pen on the tablet and translates it to the position on your computer screen. That’s why you seemed worse with the mouse pen, because it was taking the relative position instead of translating it.
