    What about going uphill? How much power do you lose or what are the settings? Can you talk about that?
    Thank you

    What is the point of this if you can just unlock freedom mode and get 21MPH? What are the benefits of upgrading to this controller? Thanks

      @@gunnardavid8500 I had a 2014 EZGO 48V RXV that when I first test drove it , it wasn't that impressive on speed until the dealer got his handheld computer and plugged into it and changed a factory setting to FREEDOM MODE. It was WAY faster. It was my 3rd EZGO I've owened and sold. Only one with this option that I've had. I now have a Clubcar Onward HP Lithium Lifted 4 seater on order that will be here 2nd-3rd week in December. Very expensive but Clubcar is ranked the best and I will soon see.

    There is no solenoid?

    Hello! I have a 2017 EZGO TXT 48 with stock solenoid and motor. If I were to install the 600 amp controller do I also need a new solenoid? Or can I use the stock/original solenoid. Thanks!

      @barrywilson6665 Рік тому

      When upgrading your electrical system, it's always better to upgrade the "entire" electrical system. Installing a 600 amp controller, you're allowing the rest of the stock system to be utilized to the maximum potential and anything not compatible will suffer.

      Thanks for the reply! I guess I’m just getting slightly conflicting info from the navitas customer support. My navitas app doesn’t display my MPH and they told me it was likely a bad speed sensor. But if it’s no longer needed what could be the issue?

      My EZGO RXV would only run at about 11 and then I had the dealer come unlock it and I got about 18 miles per hour out of it and then I put 14 inch low profile wheels and tires and now I'm running at about 23 with the stock controller, so you may need to have someone come out plug into it and unlock it. I believe it's called Freedom mode

      It really depends on the electrical system the car has. If the car has a handle for a F&R switch (or is a 36 volt), unfortunately that would be normal.

    My 2016 has a large Blue "CB" wire... where does that go ? Another question is... when the batteries are hooked up the resistor between the 2 large studs on the solenoid gets really hot... is that normal? Doesn't seem like it. Any help would be great. The old controller was removed when i got the cart.

    • @golfcartking
      @golfcartking  Рік тому

      The Blue Wire is an extra connection to the Positive side of the car's battery pack. The resistor will get hot while the cars in use but, just not while just sitting there. Might be time for a new one.

    Question, I just recently purchased an ICON lifted 6 seater Cart. It seems I need a stronger controller due to very slow hill climbs. Friday I will be installing a navitas 600 vs the 350 amp. On flat surfaces I pretty much can go 22 to 25. On hills it can drop down to 11 mph. What speed will I now get going up hills with a 600 amp controller?? Thank you

    • @ericbowers71
      @ericbowers71 4 роки тому

      DC to AC conversion will address the lack of hill power of a DC system.

    • @golfcartking
      @golfcartking  Рік тому

      The Navitas 600amp is built for torque & speed and whereas the 440amp is just basically for speed. By adding a Ecobattery that we sell would also provide more energy to get you up those hills. If you'd like to go extreme...the DC to AC kits along with a Ecobattery will definitely get you up and over the hills without slowing down much at all.

    Just had the 440amp controller melt down on my Yamaha Cart. Navitas told me it was my fault due to faulty wiring, even though it had been on the cart without a problem for 10 months. Pathetic customer service. DO NOT BUY.
