"Weeping Willow Lane" has always been one of my favourites. Have the original. So romantic. Acoustic recordings all made using a horn & attached needle that etched the master from which the records were produced. Took effort, skill, patience (many re-takes), no electronic assistance, no microphone. Great set, good transfers, thanks so much for wonderful listening to music from a great era. Bravo!
Looking for some real toe-tappers - then you've come to the wrong place. However, if you'd like to listen to some of the music that entertained your great-grandparents - and you'd like to maybe steal a few fashion ideas to boot - then pull up a chair and pour a cup of tea. This is one of Bob's best period pieces from the beginning of the 20th century.
I have pretty mixed tastes James and actually I started out collecting classical music for years before discovering the old 78's. I can listen to a lot of types of music, except for some forms today.
Sinto-me abraçado pelo lado romântico das décadas de 10 e 20. As músicas aqui apresentadas foram as músicas que meus avós, pais e tios escutaram através das OC de rádio.
What a delightful post. I love every song. I am familiar with every song - with the exception of tracks # 1 and 5, and the last verse of track #3 is different from the one I am familiar with - which is : And if ever I'm left in this world all alone, I shall wait for my call patiently. For if heaven be kind, I shall wake there to find, Those two eyes of blue, Still smiling through, Thank you so much for sharing these gems.

Back in 1910 my grandma was 18 years old. I'm only 51 years old; I wish I was older! 😆
I'm 14 years old this year and I love music from 1910 - 1920. I appreciate being able to find my favorite songs easily on your channel. Thank you 🌺
My favorite singer from this group is Olive Kline....such a beautiful soprano voice.
This is the only video I can find “Richard bonelli- Because of you” I love that song so much it’s so nice to hear it!

Those songs were already old-fashioned 96 years ago, but no less lovely!
Yes most of them were by even that time.
I like the old style of singing as well as the songs. There was a bit of this style left when Jeanette MacDonald sang as well.
Fine music. Ilove. Thanyou
